Cleared?!

Zheng Liang and the others who ca down later were stunned for a mont, but seeing the swarm of "zombies" rushing toward them, they imdiately realized there was no ti to run upstairs. Whether these people were Player-Eaters or not, right now, they could still eat people!

"Let's give it a shot!" Zheng Liang kicked the Player-Eater who was biting Gu Yu and sent him flying, then rushed to the main door and frantically rubbed it with his sleeve. "God help us!"

Wen Xuelin and Guan Zuhong were behind him. When they saw his desperate, flailing action, they couldn't help but feel a pang of hopelessness. But the next second, they watched him vanish from the spot. After a mont of stunned disbelief, they threw themselves forward too, practically trying to wipe the door glass clean with their bodies!

The two of them successfully cleared.

"We cleared! We really cleared!" Once outside, Wen Xuelin threw her arms around Gu Yu. "Sister Gu Yu, you're amazing!"

Gu Yu patted her on the back, then looked at Zheng Liang, who was sitting on the ground. "Are you alright?"

Zheng Liang shook his head, stood up, and dusted off his pants with a laugh. "I never thought the way to clear would be this simple."

"We were just lucky," Gu Yu said with a grateful expression, staring at the heavy fog ahead. "Stand back. We don't know when this dungeon will end."

"As for , I never want to go back to that hellhole," Zheng Liang said, pulling out a gadget gun. "Co on, let's go find the Special Defense Departnt!"

The Special Defense Departnt personnel were already nearby. Before they could even step forward, they were surrounded. "Hands up!"

"We're from the Spring Rain Association! We need to talk to your team leader. Is Team Leader Wu here?" Zheng Liang shouted.

Nie Xuan was waiting for them, so he had them brought over to the temporary command room.

Once they arrived, Zheng Liang couldn't wait to spill everything about the dungeon. He added, "This is a golden opportunity. I doubt many players who went in will co out alive, and even if they do, they'll be ntally broken."

Nie Xuan smiled. "The Special Defense Departnt has been waiting near the dungeon for a long ti. So far, besides a pair of siblings, only the few of you have co out alive. What about Xu Huo?"

"Brother Xu hasn't co out yet?" Guan Zuhong asked in confusion. "We didn't see him in the hospital today. We thought he cleared last night."

"The dungeon appeared less than three hours ago," Nie Xuan said.

"I actually cleared before Xu Huo?" Zheng Liang was incredibly surprised. "I guess he's all talk after all."

Gu Yu shot him a glare, then said to Nie Xuan, "He's definitely in the dungeon. We don't know if he's co out or not. He might have gone deep into the hospital. His ga scores have always been high, so he's probably exploring the dungeon."

Nie Xuan didn't comnt on that. Instead, he asked, "Why did you disguise yourselves as Xu Huo to lure people into the dungeon?"

"That wasn't our original plan," Gu Yu said. "The intended combat zone wasn't in this area. Xu Huo accidentally stumbled into the dungeon, so we went over. We didn't expect the dungeon to be this powerful."

Nie Xuan asked a few more questions, which Gu Yu answered. With nothing left for them to do, he offered to arrange a private car to take them away.

Gu Yu declined. After they left the temporary command room, she quietly said to Zheng Liang and the others, "If the Special Defense Departnt asks again, you all need to say that Xu Huo's tracking signal disappeared at the dungeon entrance, and we only went in to rescue him, accidentally entering the dungeon ourselves."

In reality, they had gone there because they received a clear signal. Xu Huo had definitely sent the signal before entering the dungeon. That raised a problem: if he had accidentally stumbled into the dungeon, it would have been hard to send a signal in that split second, especially since this random dungeon gave no warning when first entered. But if he had discovered the dungeon in advance, he wouldn't have needed to enter it himself to lure players in.

So, whether he had sohow known about this dungeon ahead of ti or had so other purpose for entering it, they needed to keep it secret.

"I think that Team Leader Nie's tone was a bit off," Zheng Liang said, not being stupid. Compared to the dungeon, Nie Xuan seed more interested in Xu Huo.

"I've heard of this Nie Xuan before," Guan Zuhong added. "He's a very formidable figure. He was one of the first in the Special Defense Departnt to be promoted to D-grade. He might even be in the top few in Zone 014."

They didn't know much about the inside story, but they could feel that Xu Huo had co prepared, and the Special Defense Departnt was probably very interested in his secrets.

"Maybe we should go wait near the dungeon first," Wen Xuelin suggested. "Tell him as soon as he cos out."

"You guys go," Gu Yu said. "I'll go find Lichun. Xu Huo has been in the ga for so long and has never tead up with any player. Lichun has always been by his side. She's definitely better than us. I'll get her to help."

As they split up, Xu Huo had already locked the ten foreign players in the isolation ward of Building Three.

People who could have infiltrated another country for ten or twenty years were no ordinary characters. For people like that to sink into an illusion was even harder, so he had to use so extra effort to bring them over.

He first selected the youngest player among them, a brown-haired man.

Inside the old, mottled ward, the player tied to the upright bed stared with bloodshot eyes, fixedly glaring at the man sitting in front of him. There was nothing in his mouth, but his lips were pressed tightly together, as if he had no intention of communicating with anyone.

Xu Huo tapped the dical record book. "You haven't slept for three days and three nights. Are you tired?"

The brown-haired player's expression showed no reaction. Xu Huo waited three seconds, then stood up. He picked up a syringe and a bottle of potion from the operating table next to him. "If you keep going like this, your body won't hold up. I'll give you a shot of nutritional supplent."

The brown-haired player stared at the things in his hand, his eyeballs trembling, because the small glass bottle read "Muscle Relaxant."

Xu Huo filled the syringe in front of him, then walked over and injected it directly into his arm through his clothes. "Hospital dication has strict rules. Besides the most basic dicine, I can't give you anything else. Don't worry, although this potion is newly developed, it won't harm your body or damage your nerves."

The brown-haired player wasn't listening to a word he said. His eyes were just fixed on the syringe, and only when the potion was fully injected did his body involuntarily relax.

Xu Huo casually tossed the syringe into the trash can, sat back down, and tapped the dical record book again. Once he had the other man's attention, he said, "I am your attending doctor. You can tell anything. Appropriate emotional release will help your condition."

Then he changed the subject. "When you were admitted, you said you were from Country Y, but according to the records, your parents have never left Capital City. You grew up here and went to university here. Do you still rember your na? Hao Zheng?"

"My na is not Hao Zheng. My na is David Pierce," the brown-haired player slowly said.

Xu Huo picked up a mirror and placed it in front of him. "Look at your own hair color and eye color."

The brown-haired player stared at the black-haired, black-eyed person in the mirror for a few seconds, then let out a hysterical scream: "That's not !!!"
