Chapter 29

"Tell , what will it take for you to hand over this blueprint?"

Inside a conference hall in the castle, Judge sat at the head of the table and asked Rorschach directly.

"Heh heh, didn’t I already say it? I ca here to cooperate. If King Judge is still questioning my sincerity, then there’s no point in talking," Rorschach chuckled. He found it amusing that Judge wanted to negotiate for the blueprint. Its value was obvious to anyone.

Especially for a nation like Germa 66 that relied on technology to boost its combat power, it was priceless.

"Sigh... I can give you Reiju. I can also make combat suits for you, and reforge your swords. Is that enough?" Judge exhaled heavily and finally yielded.

"Eh, Father?" Reiju looked shocked. She had been wondering why Judge called her in to join the discussion. She never expected to be treated as a bargaining chip.

Rorschach shook his head. "Not enough."

"What?! What else do you want?!" Judge grew angry. He had already t the previous demands, but now Rorschach was adding more. Still, the importance of the blueprint forced him to hold back.

"Hahaha, don’t get mad. Just a few small additional requests."

"I can cooperate with you on the Ark Reactor technology. But in the future, if I need new combat suits, you must make them for . Don’t worry, it won’t be too many."

"Also, I heard that your bloodline factor modified humans can’t disobey your orders. I need you to remove that command from Reiju."

Rorschach rested his cheek on his hand, watching Judge with an amused expression, curious about his reaction.

Reiju was surprised. Rorschach’s words didn’t sound like a joke. Had he really ant it when he said he fell in love with her at first sight?

At that thought, Reiju’s face turned slightly red. She was one of the only two children in the Vinsmoke family who still retained emotions after the modifications.

She also hated staying in Germa Kingdom. Because she couldn’t disobey her father’s orders, she had been unable to escape. She longed for the sea and for freedom. That was why, as a child, she had helped Sanji escape from the kingdom.

Judge, after hearing Rorschach’s words, cald down a little and thought carefully.

"If that’s all, then I can agree," he said after a heavy pause.

"Reiju, from now on you no longer need to obey my orders. Just follow Captain Rorschach."

Judge gave only one command, but the contradictory order acted like flipping a switch.

Reiju felt her body suddenly relax. The compulsion that prevented her from disobeying Judge disappeared. Removing the restriction only required a single sentence from him.

"Good. That’s more like it. Here’s the complete design," Rorschach said, tossing the full Ark Reactor blueprint to Judge.

Judge caught it like a precious treasure and began studying it carefully.

"How long will it take to integrate the Ark Reactor into the combat suits?" Rorschach asked.

"I don’t know. It could be one month, two months, or even a year. Everything depends on experintation," Judge replied without looking up, still absorbed in the docunts.

Rorschach then took out a small piece of Vibranium and tossed it over, finally drawing Judge’s full attention.

He hadn’t taken out all the Vibranium — he had split it into four pieces using the system.

"What is this?" Judge asked, picking up the tal and examining it closely in his palm.

"It’s a special alloy. Extrely tough. Can you fuse it into my swords and combat suits?" Rorschach didn’t explain Vibranium’s full properties, only ntioning its extre hardness.

"No problem at all. I have the best equipnt for forging gear. No matter how hard the material, I can lt it down."

"How long until my swords are finished?"

"Leave the swords here. I’ll have them done within three days. Here’s my Den Den Mushi. I’ll contact you when they’re ready."

Hearing that, Rorschach drew his twin blades and tossed them over. Judge tossed a Den Den Mushi back to him.

"Fine. I’ll wait three days then. Get the combat suits done as quickly as possible."

With that, Rorschach wrapped an arm around Reiju and headed for the conference room door. Just before leaving, he stopped.

"Oh, right. You already know I ate the Float-Float Fruit, don’t you?" Rorschach turned back with a aningful look, a cold glint in his eyes.

He hadn’t hidden his approach when invading, so Judge must have seen him floating in the air. Combined with his identity as Shiki’s successor, Judge would have figured out he had eaten the Float-Float Fruit.

"What do you an?" Judge frowned, not understanding the point of Rorschach’s words.

"Although I don’t understand why Old Man Shiki rarely did this, I still need to make it clear."

"The Float-Float Fruit can lift this entire island into the sky at any ti... and it can also drop it."

"So no matter where you hide, I will find you. Even if you flee to a Yonko’s territory or Marine Headquarters, you won’t escape. You don’t want dropping these little gifts on you from the sky, do you?"

"So rember — don’t put any little tricks in the combat suits. I’ll have soone check them later. If I find anything... don’t bla for not sparing you for Reiju’s sake."

Rorschach winked at Reiju as he finished.

Judge now clearly understood this was a threat, but he only snorted coldly.

"Hmph. Since I agreed to cooperate, I won’t tamper with anything. You can test the finished product yourself."

"Good. I’m glad we had such a pleasant cooperation, King Judge. If I get any new technology in the future, I’ll co find you again."

Rorschach waved with a smile and walked out, tightening his arm around Reiju so she pressed closer to him.

Then he activated the Float-Float Fruit and flew toward the triangular sailboat in the sky.

After Rorschach left, Judge’s expression turned into one of obsession and madness.

"Such exquisite energy technology... it’s even more sophisticated than Vegapunk’s. This isn’t sothing from our era. It’s technology that’s a thousand years ahead of the world!"

Judge muttered to himself, completely absorbed in the Ark Reactor blueprint.

anwhile, Rorschach returned to the sailboat with Reiju.

The mont they landed, the girls rushed forward to check on him.

"Rorschach, are you okay?" Nami was the first to run up, anxiously touching him all over to check for injuries.

"I’m fine. Don’t worry. Didn’t I tell you? With my strength, no one in the Four Seas or Paradise is a threat," Rorschach said gently, looking at Nami.

Over this period of ti together, Nami had gone from being forced aboard, to trusting him, to now being close. She already considered Rorschach one of her important "family" mbers.

"Hm? Who is she?"

Only then did Nami notice Reiju in Rorschach’s arms. She had been so worried about him earlier that she hadn’t paid attention. Now that she was calm, she realized Rorschach was holding another woman.

This made Nami a bit angry. She shot Reiju a hostile look, then pinched Rorschach’s waist, her eyes clearly saying:

Oh, so this is what you were doing? I was worried about you for so long, and you went out and brought back another woman?

"Hello everyone. I’m Vinsmoke Reiju. From now on, I belong to Captain Rorschach," Reiju said in an intimate tone, leaning her head against Rorschach’s shoulder with an ambiguous expression.

"What do you an ’belong to Rorschach’? A crewmate is a crewmate. You’re the youngest, so get in line at the back," Reiju’s words seed to trigger Nami, who instantly beca furious.
