The Guildmaster’s Office

Guildmaster Julia Renthard finds herself staring blankly after the strange woman who ranks at the top of their entire planet’s leaderboard with an enormous lead over the second ranked hunter on it. Just as she quietly walks out of Julia’s office without another word after making her report.

A report that shocks Julia just as much as nearly every other report the woman makes.

A magical ore that attracts monsters to it… and nurous powerful monsters all around the ore.

That part doesn’t shock her very much. Since things like that are common in the different oceans of the world.

But what does shock her is how Aqua slaughtered all of the monsters there and ca back with her level about fifty levels above when she left.

So in the ti that Julia and so of the other highest level users on Oceana managed to level up about six tis, Aqua leveled up about fifty tis.

Julia stares at the door even after Aqua leaves the room. Then she opens the leaderboard to look at the top few users on the planet.

And of the top three, the second and third ranked users are Jaleth and one of the hunters in his group. With the two of them being level one hundred and eight.

Then it’s Aqua at number one with her level being just a little beneath level three hundred.

Julia feels herself pursing her lips without even aning to at the sight of Aqua’s level. Then she glances at the envelope on her desk. One that was recently placed there without anyone seeing who did it.

But despite no one seeing who left it, Julia already knows who left it.

There’s no one else who can sneak into her highly defended office without anyone knowing. Other than the woman that just left her office, that is.

And right as she is about to reach for the docunt to read it again, she senses soone appearing in the corner of her office. Making her glance at them with a frown.

“I would appreciate it if you would stop entering my office without permission,” Julia states as she sees soone dressed in attire that covers every bit of their skin with tight waterproof cloth. All wrapped in a thick cloak on top of it.

They even have a mask covering the lower half of their face, revealing nothing but two slit eyes peeking out over the mask.

One of the clan mbers… they really did show up.

A part of her wasn’t sure since the clan has always avoided any and all politics closer to the surface. But it looks like soone impersonating them is too much for even them to ignore.

Especially when the one impersonating them is far more powerful than they are.

As for how Julia knows Aqua isn’t actually a mber of their clan?

It’s because she looks different than they do.

The clan mbers all share the sa physical traits with each other, along with one more unique skill.

All of the clan mbers have slit grey eyes, long bluish gray hair, and have retractable grey claws on their hands and feet. With scales they can make appear and disappear as they please.

Unlike Aqua who often uses tentacle based powers and has whiteless pitch black eyes with a glowing blue slit in them, as well as deep blue almost black hair.

And no scales or regular claws.

The narrative has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the infringent.

But the biggest sign that she isn’t a mber of the clan is how her na is actually on the leaderboards.

Because the clan mbers all seem to have so sort of skill that removes their nas from the leaderboards.

One that they can activate and deactivate at will, as one of them did it for a brief mont just to prove to Julia that they were human in the first place.

But even they don’t appear to be the sa level as Aqua with them being at least fifty to a hundred levels behind her.

“Do you agree with the plan? Or will you remain neutral?” the clan mber asks without bothering to respond to her complaint.

Julia sighs at their blatant act of ignoring her.

“No matter how much her strength worries , we need it to face the stronger monsters,” Julia eventually answers. “The Cryaxis Hunter’s City will remain neutral in the conflict.”

A few seconds pass as the clan mber glares at her before the clan mber dissipates into a pool of water that appears out of nowhere.

Vanishing from her office.

Julia sighs again while looking at her door, in what she believes is the direction Aqua is.

I don’t like being told to choose sides.

Aqua

I let out a yawn as I walk out of the Guild while looking at my status.

[END STATUS]

I’m so close to my next trait. Just seven more levels.

I can’t help but smile at that thought as I admire my lovely status.

The only issue right now is that it’s getting harder and harder to get REGEN stat points. Since the deeper I go, the fewer monsters there are in any particular area.

So there are fewer monsters at my level to kill.

And that’s getting annoying.

Although my REGEN is high enough now that it’s not as big of an issue. Since my REGEN stat is high enough to heal in the middle of a battle now.

It’s high enough now that sothing that would normally take an entire month to heal for a regular human only takes a little over an hour to heal for .

And that’s absolutely incredible.

anwhile larger cuts and bruises that would normally take a week to heal will only take like fifteen minutes to heal.

And smaller cuts and bruises that only take a day or two to heal will instead take just a few minutes to heal.

So it really is high enough now to regenerate in the middle of a battle.

That alone has smiling uncontrollably as I leave the guild and the city beyond it. Entering the water where I imdiately dive down in the direction of the higher level monsters.

Because I want to reach level three hundred for that new trait as soon as I can.

Of course, I ignore the comnts in the chat calling cute because of the uncontrollable smile on my face. And the ssages still saying that hashtag mineraqua thing make really wish I could ban people from my chat.

But too bad for , that’s not possible until after I beco an official pioneer.

After I beco the highest level being on Oceana.

I continue moving down deeper into the water until I find so large monsters to begin hunting. With my new abyssal servants that I got from that last battle.

Unfortunately for though, that ntal offensive monster that I fought at the end of the battle is kind of useless. Seeing as its main offensive power was ntal attacks.

Which aren’t usable by abyssal servants who have no minds.

So it doesn’t matter that I got it. At all.

I let out a sigh at that thought before continuing to hunt. And hunt. And hunt so more.

Even after entire days go by, I just don’t stop hunting. Without any sleep.

I just hunt the monsters that I can find in the ocean. Which aren’t as powerful as the ones in dungeons or lairs.

But after days of fighting – most of which is spent just sending my abyssal servants to fight for – I finally reach level three hundred.

Where I get my next trait at last.
