On the lower floors, the girls were all in the restaurant and getting ready to close for the day. Lily and Rina went out earlier to get so ingredients for the next day and they greeted Rin as they ca back. Rina waved back with a small smile.
Rin was sitting on a chair at the side while the other girls worked. They told her that she should just rest so she found herself bored! She still didn’t know why they were trying so hard to make her look like she was useless! She didn’t even have a baby bump yet and they are making her rest!? Why!?
The boredom that Rin was feeling made her start looking out the window and that was why she was one of the first people to notice the sudden atmosphere outside. There was no longer anyone on the street. Rin narrowed her eyes and looked down the street. What’s going on here? There is usually at least one person moving in this street all the ti.
Outside the street, the sa assassin that attacked Yana appeared out of the shadow after hiding the dead bodies of the people he killed. He couldn’t believe he failed to kill that princess! How strong was she!? It was like his life would end if he didn’t get out of there!
Well, the higher-ups wanted them to kill all of Han’s people so it didn’t matter how they did it. He would finish these weaker ones first before moving to that Yana again.
He used the shadow to move towards the house but he was shocked when he noticed that he couldn’t appear inside through the shadow! There was so sort of protection over the entire house that prevented anyone from sneaking in! What the hell!? This protection is made by a black Star! I can’t even squeeze through! Don’t tell that I’ll have to move inside through the window like so sort of thief! How embarrassing!!
“Rin, is everything okay?”
Lily asked this while moving closer to Rin. She was done cleaning the tables so she wanted to slack off with Rin before Rina made her do sothing else! But why is Rin looking outside with a worried expression? Did you see a ghost?
“Lily, I think sothing is wrong. Look outside, isn’t there ant to be sobody there? I even see people selling so goods late at night usually but there is nothing there right now”
Lily looked outside too and also noticed the empty street The stalls were still set up, but the people who usually sold there were all gone. Lily’s eyes imdiately narrowed and she quickly told Rin to co away from the window! Rin stood up from there quickly and moved back to Lily. It is better if they are careful right now since they didn’t know what was going on.
Then all of a sudden, sothing broke through the window that Rin was just looking out from! It was a man wearing a full black bodysuit! He had a knife in his hand and just from his look it was obvious he was an assassin!
The man ran towards the closest person there once he saw her! His knife was aid right at Rin as he pulled back his hand! But then a hand grabbed his own!
Dyana looked from the man to Rin and then back again as she tried to understand what the hell this man is doing!? Do you think Han will just let you go for breaking his window and trying to kill soone!? I just cleaned that window too!
The man tried to break out of Dyana’s grip but she was not even shaking! The man imdiately started to have an existential crisis! Why was he eting so many strong people all of a sudden!? What kind of won does that Han Luo have!? I’m a fucking white Star!? This woman doesn’t even have a damn Star so why the hell is she this strong!?
The man was still thinking this when he saw a shadow appear above him. He looked up in surprise and he saw a large sword coming down on his head! Ah… Fuck.
Squelch!!
The shadow hunter stabbed its sword right into the man’s head before it also stabbed into the ground! Blood splattered everywhere as the man died a grueso death. Dyana looked at the hand she was still holding with a blank expression. Those shadow hunters need to learn how to hold back! How is she going to clean these floors now!? Dyana knew that the shadow hunter would’ve killed the man before she even grabbed him. She should’ve just allowed the man to keep going so that her clothes wouldn’t have been dirtied like this!
The other girls ran over from the other side of the restaurant to make sure everyone was okay. The events happened too fast for any of them to do anything so they were just glad that Dyana and the shadow hunter moved fast enough!
Crash! Crash! Crash! Crash!
That was the sound of more windows breaking as even more n jumped into the house. All of them were wearing the sa black outfit that the first man wore. They were all assassins!
Dyana put both hands on her face and she felt like crying! She just cleaned those windows!!
All the n were angry because none of them could appear inside the house by shadow travel! If they could do that then they would’ve easily killed all these won without even being seen!
The n didn’t know that there were so fucking scary monsters waiting for them inside those shadows! So, even if they sohow managed to bypass Han’s defenses around the house, they would have been killed by the shadow hunters inside the shadow before they could even get anywhere close to the girls!
The first man who noticed the shadow hunter was a short man who looked like a dwarf. He took a step back once he laid eyes on the shadow hunter with his [Eyes of Horos]! This thing is strong! Almost stronger than all the white Stars in this room!
No. They couldn’t think like that! There is only one shadow Hunter in the room and there are almost thirty of them! They can get done with this quickly if they really try their best! None of them even noticed Dyana as a threat since she didn’t have a Star. They had no idea that she alone could kill almost all of them. But Dyana didn’t need to do anything because in the next mont the shadow under their legs all began to shake as more and more Shadow hunters began to rise from the ground!
Han put more than a hundred shadow Hunters in different places around this restaurant! He knew that the people he would be dealing with now were stronger than most of the girls, but no matter who it was that ca in here a Shadow Hunter was ready to defend the girls if anything happened! By the ti the shadow hunters stopped rising from the ground, there were more than forty of them!
Kim had a strained smile on her face as she found herself surrounded on all sides by Shadow Hunters. She would never get used to the power Han had. He already told them that sothing like this would happen, but hearing about it and seeing it are two very different things! She can feel that each of the Shadow Hunters is as strong as Han was when he first ca to this Temple! Is this not overkill!?
The n who ca to attack were all looking around in shock. They began to take steps back towards the windows but then they suddenly realized that the window was also blocked by shadow Hunters! The only place they could run from was the door! They had to get out of here!
Ka-cha!
“We heard a noise! Is sothing wrong!!?”
The door to the restaurant burst open as multiple people suddenly ran inside! These were the people that the other guild put as guards around the restaurant! The man who shouted was the leader of the group. He was from the Red Arrow Redemption guild and so he was the strongest there. Once the group stepped in they all stopped in shock as they noticed the imnse amount of power in the room!
Everyone was stronger than them! The attackers and even the Shadow Hunters! What in the world is going on inside here!? They all thought of just leaving the sa way they ca in. Their job was just to report to Han, right!? They didn’t have to fight monsters like these!!
But then an assassin ran towards them quickly! He could feel that they were weak so he knew he would be able to get out! And he would’ve been able to get out easily if Gregory didn’t appear at that mont!
Squelch!!
The assassin suddenly heard this sound deep inside his head and before he knew it his head split into two pieces and fell to the ground! Gregory rose from the shadow in front of the guild mbers and he took a good look around. He looked toward the girls and he saw Yue wave at him with a smile. Gregory couldn’t stop himself from smiling back. What? She eventually grew on him. She might be annoying as hell but she isn’t so bad.
The girls were all looking like they were ready to fight but Gregory knew that they wouldn’t have to even lift a finger. He sighed. Why does Han keep doing things like this? No wonder he was so calm! He knows that nothing short of a black Star can attack this place with the sort of protection he set up! Just look at all the people in the room!!
A hundred immortal soldiers as well as guild mbers from all the guilds on the lower floors!? Really, Han!? Have you never heard of overkill!?
