“I just want those two girls behind you. If you attack then just know that I won’t let you go easily for being a fool”
The man said this as a warning while he drew his sword, but he was shocked when Lily’s expression didn’t change. Was she planning to fight him? He narrowed his eyes at her and waited to see what she would do.
Lily couldn’t believe that soone like this was the one who ca. She could see that this man was not weak at all. He was probably stronger than her right now. But Lily went up against Han himself. If she was able to survive against soone like Han, then this man would not be the one to take her down.
The man here was far stronger than the ones downstairs, but that wasn’t going to stop Lily from trying to kick his ass.
“It’s going to get cold so make sure you don’t freeze to death. I don’t know if I can hold myself back against soone like him”
Lily said this to Kim and Rina before they suddenly felt the temperature in the room drop like crazy!
[Frozen Domain] has been activated.
The man narrowed his eyes curiously as the entire room transford into a snowy wasteland in an instant. What sort of endga is she playing at? Is she trying to block my vision? No, she knows I’m a gold Star. My vision is far better than her own. Then is she trying to make a domain advantage?
Domain advantages were usually specific to so people in the Temple. It is just like how a fire type chosen would want to fight near a volcano because he is stronger there and an ice type chosen would like to fight near the ice. But why would she try to make this small room into a wasteland just to have a domain advantage? Does she not know that domain advantages can’t remove the difference between Stars?
The man waited for the snow in the room to die down completely before he saw Lily again. This ti she had a sword in her hand as well. The sides of her face were covered with ice, and when she breathed out it ca out like cold fog.
The man brought up his sword. It doesn’t matter what she does. It’s not like she can win anyway –
“What the…!?”
The man’s eyes widened as Lily charged straight for him like a bull. He brought his sword up and blocked the slash she aid at him. Did she intend to fight him straight on? No, that would be too stupid. She has sothing up her sleeve! I won’t let you!
The man slashed at her, but Lily just barely managed to dodge it at the last mont and her own sword ca up in a wicked slash! He kicked her arm to one side and then back peddled as another sword appeared in her other hand and almost skewered him.
She was good. The man couldn’t deny that Lily was a very high-level silver Star. She might even be very close to breaking into gold Star any mont now. He has been a gold Star for a long ti now, but this little girl was challenging him? He had to take this seriously. He dashed towards Lily and slashed down at her with his full strength! Lily felt her knees buckle under her and she grimaced in pain as she tried to block the slash.
The man grinned down at her. This is the difference in our strengths. You cannot overco sothing like this with only your amount of power. It is futile to keep fighting! But instead of Lily giving up, the man saw a victorious smile spread across her face.
Lily parried his sword to one side, and she jumped back. Lily was happy right now! She had been waiting to see if it was pointless to use this power, but now she was sure that it would work. He used his full strength just now and she could tell that his full strength was lower than her own!
A skill imdiately activated!

At that mont, the man knew that sothing had changed. In the beginning, he could see that even if he didn’t use any of his skills, he would still be able to win. But now it seems as though he was the underdog instead of her! Like he was the one fighting against a superior opponent!
He had to get out of here and fight in a wider space! She has the domain advantage, and I won’t do much damage to her inside here!
[Dominion over Ice] has been activated.
The man jumped back as ice spikes flew out from the ground and threatened to skewer him to the wall. He used his sword to block most of them, but when he turned around to run out the window, he suddenly saw another Lily blocking the window!
[Ice Puppeteer] has been activated.
He thrust his sword forward and stabbed it through the chest, but it didn’t die! Instead, it widened its arms and hugged him tightly as the real Lily activated another skill imdiately!
[Fog of Wisteria] has been activated.
[Flash Freeze] has been activated.
Both the man and the ice sculpture were covered in fog before they both froze solid! Lily used flash freeze one more ti to make sure that the man didn’t have any chance of escaping before she finally deactivated her Frozen Domain tiredly. She turned to make sure that both Kim and Rina were okay. Once she saw that they were okay she just fell to her back tiredly.
Ah~ What a day.
The girls gathered the intruders into the restaurant and put them inside the room that Han uses to store at. It was reinforced by Tully a long ti ago to prevent any noise from getting out, so Yue just tied the n with her tendrils, and they kept them in there for now. They shouldn’t be able to escape easily from her tendrils.
Yue and Rin managed to get so information out of the n and figured out why they were attacked. It wasn’t like Rin didn’t expect sothing like this to happen eventually, but it was a little annoying to have to deal with it. This temple is already dangerous enough without having to deal with rcenaries that wanted to kidnap innocent won.
She was just glad that Yuuma’s plan worked so well. There wasn’t even any hiccup in the way Yuuma told them to handle the intruders. It was like she knew exactly who would co and also who could handle them most efficiently. Rin didn’t believe it before, but Han was right when he said that this woman is one of the most brilliant minds he has ever seen. She was a horrible alcoholic that would probably suffer from liver failure in the future, but she was still brilliant!
The girls decided that they would leave the n in that room till Han cos back and then he could do whatever he wanted to them. They still had to rest before opening the restaurant tomorrow.
But before they could leave, Yuuma called their attention and told them that sothing was wrong.
“There is soone still watching the restaurant. I thought he was one of these fools, but he didn’t leave his spot throughout the fighting. Don’t let your guards down yet”
Rin tightened her gloves around her hand and looked towards the door of the restaurant as it opened. The person was coming in through the door? Was it confidence or did he not have any ill will towards them? Rin couldn’t be too sure, so she just moved in front of Rina and Kim in case anything went out of control.
“Relax, I’m not here to fight you. I saw your fight and it was impressive. I don’t know if I can even handle all of you at once. I’m here to et with your leader. I have so news for him”
The man wore a large white cloak with a hood that covered most of his face from view and when he spoke it was with a deep baritone. Yuuma narrowed her eyes at the man from her place at the bar. So the man watched the entire fight and he never bothered to co to help them? He was either soone who didn’t give a damn about them, or he was just trying to gauge exactly how strong they were.
Maybe he wasn’t attacking because he knew they would be able to beat him if it ca down to a brawl?
“I can already feel your hostility from a mile away. I already said I don’t want to fight, do you want to say it again before you believe ? I just want to talk to Han Luo”
Lily was the one that answered. She already had the skill [Frozen Domain] on the tip of her tongue, just one slipup and it would turn this entire place into her world.
“And what do you want to et him for? Do you have any business with him?”
The man sighed. He couldn’t believe how much they didn’t trust people. Well, this is the Temple. If they trusted people, then they would already be dead by now. It was understandable that they would try to find out everything about his agenda before giving out the location of their leader.
“My na is not important, but I am from the guild White Rose and my leader wishes to speak to the man that subjugated the Trinata and Rivera guilds. Is he around?”
Lily rudely told the man that Han was away on so business and that he should leave. She wasn’t in a good state of mind right now and she didn’t like this man. Lily was already prepared for the man to cause problems and she could see the other girls also tensing up, but she was surprised he didn’t say anything as he turned and began to leave.
They all cald down then, and Kim sighed from her place behind them. She had never been in a situation like this before and she couldn’t believe people like these are what Han was facing every day. This stress can’t be good for his ntal state.
