Chapter 393: The Three Great Chief Gods, Ti Freeze

Blinding flas filled the sky as violent and raging energy waves turned the void itself into a viscous, glue-like state. Everyone within the area was blown into smithereens.

Puhaman, Ery Philmore!

Fatty Hart, Sacas!

Bubbles, Galen!

All of them were dead!

...

The flas gradually died down, and the glue-like void slowly returned to its original state.

By the ti the sky had resud its original clarity, and everything had returned to what it was like before, ng Lei had beco the only one left in the sky. Everyone else... had vanished.

Nurous divine cores floating in the air were the only things left behind.

“Well done! Well done, indeed!”

ng Lei’s expression was so cold and sinister that it could almost freeze. He shouted, “Get the hell out here at once since you’re already here! Can you really call yourself a Chief God when you’re sneaking around like that?!”

Buzz!

A series of ripples went through the air as three figures revealed themselves.

The first was burly and muscular and sported a pair of horns on his head—he was none other than the Nidhogg Chief God that had just left a short while ago.

The second was a 100,000-feet-tall Titan Chief God dressed in golden armor, while the third was a sixteen-winged Angel Chief God enveloped in mighty holy light.

A Colossal Dragon Chief God, a Titan Chief God, an Angel Chief God—that made a total of three great Chief Gods! And they had all descended upon the world together!

“Give a reason why!” ng Lei demanded icily.

“Allow to do the introductions.”

With an aloof look on his face, the Nidhogg Chief God gestured to the other two Chief Gods beside him and said, “This is Dawson, the Titan Chief God, and this is Raphael, the Angel Chief God.”

Then, he pointed at ng Lei and said, “Dawson, Raphael, that’s the Supre Great Perfection deity that I ntioned. It’s highly likely that the Chief God divine core that had just erged in the Great Pompeii Desert is in his hands because he’s the one who’s both the strongest and closest in proximity to it!”

The Titan Chief God and the Angel Chief God nodded slightly in response. Their awe-inspiring and aloof gazes then fell on ng Lei, and they ordered, “Hand over the Chief God divine core, and we’ll spare your life!”

“The Chief God divine core?”

ng Lei stared at the Nidhogg Chief God and asked, “You left and ca back again, and even brought two other great Chief Gods with you along the way, just for the Chief God divine core in my possession?”

“So, you admit that the Chief God divine core is in your possession?”

The three great Chief Gods’ eyes brightened significantly, and their eyes bore straight into ng Lei. They had guessed that the Chief God divine core was with ng Lei, but a guess was ultimately nothing more than just a guess. They couldn’t make an accurate judgnt as to whether it was true or not.

Now that ng Lei had admitted to it, this proved that their guess was indeed correct. How could they possibly not be delighted?

With a flip of ng Lei’s hand, an irregularly-shaped crystal that glowed with ten different colors appeared on his palm—it was exactly the Chief God divine core that had caused such a huge commotion in the Great Pompeii Desert earlier.

“The Chief God divine core!”

“The Chief God divine core is indeed with you!”

Intense shudders went through the three Chief Gods, and looks of greed and desire burst forth from their eyes. The looks in their eyes were as if they wanted to gobble ng Lei up and take the Chief God divine core sitting on his palm for themselves.

“Give it to !” The three Chief Gods barked in unison.

“All of them are already Chief Gods, so why do they want this Chief God divine core so much, Moro? This thing shouldn’t be of much use to them, isn’t it?”

ng Lei was puzzled.

“No, you’re mistaken. Not only are Chief God divine cores of use to them, but they are even of great use at that.”

Moro’s voice surfaced in his mind. He explained, “You should also know that a Chief God divine core is essentially a fragnt of a high-end existential plane’s Heart of The Existential Plane and not an ordinary divine core. In other words, a Chief God is able to assimilate multiple Chief God divine cores.”

“They’re able to assimilate multiple Chief God divine cores?”

A mild jolt went through ng Lei as enlightennt dawned upon him.

That’s right!

A person could only assimilate a maximum of one divine core for divine cores of the sa grade. If they wanted to assimilate more, then they would have to assimilate divine cores of higher grades.

However, this wasn’t the case for Chief God divine cores.

Strictly speaking, a Chief God divine core wasn’t even a divine core at all but a Heart of The Existential Plane fragnt instead. Therefore, one would naturally be able to assimilate many of them.

On top of that, the more there were, the better it was. The more one assimilated, the more Power of Existential Plane they would be able to manipulate, thereby making the Chief God even stronger!

Moro smiled dispassionately and said, “Those three fellows were very likely ordinary deities with diocre aptitudes before they assimilated their Chief God divine cores. Thus, despite having beco Chief Gods for many years, they still haven’t comprehended any supre laws of nature and are still just lesser Chief Gods who are the weakest of the lot.

“Therefore, for them, becoming stronger by relying on comprehending supre laws of nature won’t work at all. They can only strengthen themselves by assimilating more Chief God divine cores.

“But there are only so many Chief God divine cores out there. Moreover, they’ve basically all been assimilated by other Chief Gods, so how can there possibly be any extras? Now that they’ve seen the one you have, it would be stranger instead if they didn’t go crazy for it!”

ng Lei nodded slowly. He had already understood why the Nidhogg Chief God had left and returned, as well as why he had brought the other two Chief Gods here to besiege him.

Everything was for the sake of obtaining the Chief God divine core he had!

“Give it to !”

The three Chief Gods’ expressions darkened at the sight of ng Lei’s indifference. They barked another command fiercely, unable to hold back anymore.

“And if I don’t?” ng Lei sneered coldly.

“Not handing it over? Then you can go to hell!”

The Nidhogg Chief God said icily and sinisterly, “I certainly can’t do anything about you by myself, but killing you is no difficult task with the three of us!”

“Hand over the Chief God divine core! Otherwise, you’ll die!” ordered the Titan Chief God in an icy-cold voice.

“We’ll spare your life as long as you hand over the Chief God divine core,” said the Angel Chief God gently as holy light suffused the air around him.

“You’re going to kill ? With the likes of the three of you?”

ng Lei burst into laughter as if he had just heard the funniest joke in the whole universe. His voice reverberated throughout the sky like a tsunami toppling the mountains and overturning the seas.

“You’re courting death!”

“What insolence!”

“How presumptuous!”

The three Chief Gods’ expressions darkened right away. Roiling waves of the Chief Gods’ might arose around them and crushed down upon ng Lei from everywhere, intending to flatten him.

“All of you can forget about leaving this place today!”

Icy harshness took over ng Lei’s eyes as he gradually curbed his laughter. He said, “I will gouge out your Chief God divine cores, destroy your divine spirits, and enslave your bodies. I will destroy your souls and thoroughly wipe you off the face of the earth!”

“You’re going to kill us? Why don’t you die first, then!”

The three Chief Gods moved at the sa ti.

With a forceful grab from the Nidhogg Chief God, a gigantic multi-colored dragon claw ford completely from ten-colored lights instantly rushed forward and grabbed at ng Lei.

“Go to hell!”

The Titan Chief God clenched his right fist and threw a powerful punch. At once, a heavy, multi-colored punch that carried fearso, earth-shattering might went hurtling out.

“Holy Light Judgnt!”

The Angel Chief God flapped the 16 wings on his back. Several rays of holy light converged to form a gigantic multi-colored sword that dazzled with the light of ten different colors. Then, the sword cleaved forward.

A dragon claw!

A powerful punch!

A gigantic sword!

The attacks drew three arcs across the sky like rainbows piercing through the sun and crashed down upon ng Lei. The three Chief Gods had attacked with their full power when they launched these attacks; even ordinary Great Perfection deities would be crushed into dust if they were even so much as hit by the residual impact waves, let alone struck squarely by the attacks themselves.

“These attacks will at least maim him if they didn’t already kill him. I’ll have to strike first and snatch the Chief God divine core as soon as possible later. Once I get the Chief God divine core...”

The three Chief Gods might have their gazes fixed on ng Lei, but their minds were already working at top speed. They were already thinking about how they could snatch the Chief God divine core in ng Lei’s possession.

Despite being up against such terrifying attacks, ng Lei neither ducked nor dodged. In the instant the claw, the punch, and the sword were about to reach him, he slowly uttered two words, “Ti Freeze!”

Buzz!

Two soft and gentle rays of golden light shot out of ng Lei’s eyes. Everything in the golden light’s path froze in ti.

The fluctuating space-ti had beco still!

The flowing air had beco still!

The wild, violent attacks had beco still!

Everything... had beco still!

The three Chief Gods were no exceptions, either. They froze on the spot with looks of greed still on their faces.

ng Lei took step after step toward the three Chief Gods. Soft, gentle golden light spilled from his eyes as he scoffed, “So, you’re going to kill ? In the face of the full and complete version of ti-based laws of nature, how are losers that haven’t even comprehended any supre laws of nature like the lot of you going to kill ?”
