Chapter 320: 500 Existential Planes, The Down And Out Dragon God
“A spatial laws of nature fragnt?”
ng Lei was slightly taken aback. Did spatial laws of nature fragnts exist in this world?
He frequently picked up the ten basic elents’ laws of nature fragnts and had even picked up quite a few fusion laws of nature fragnts before. However, he had never picked up supre laws of nature fragnts—such as spatial laws of nature fragnts—before!
So, did supre laws of nature fragnts exist?
“Compared to basic elents’ laws of nature fragnts, supre laws of nature fragnts are extrely rare. They are rarer than even Chief Gods and Great Perfection-level experts. However, every one of them is a priceless treasure. They are usually in the possession of Great Perfection-level experts and Chief Gods. How can ordinary deities possibly co into contact with them?”
Dodola explained, “In truth, even fusion laws of nature fragnts are extrely rare and valuable, let alone supre laws of nature fragnts. Moreover, the more types of laws of nature the fragnt has infused, the rarer and more valuable they are.”
Dodola turned to ng Lei and said, “Take the Beast God, for example. If he had a double-elental laws of nature fragnt, wouldn’t he have been able to break through to beco a higher deity?
“But the reality is that he doesn’t.
“Even a great pinnacle-level interdiate deity can’t get his hands on a double-elental fusion laws of nature fragnt. From this, you can easily imagine just how rare fusion laws of nature fragnts are.”
“That is certainly so.”
ng Lei expressed agreent with Dodola’s views. This was sothing that he could sort of tell from the laws of nature fragnts that he had picked up in the past.
He frequently picked up basic laws of nature fragnts, but double-elental fusion laws of nature fragnts were a lot more uncommon.
There were even fewer triple-elental fusion laws of nature fragnts than that.
At the mont, he had only picked up one quadruple-elental fusion laws of nature fragnt, which was an ice-tal-dark-fire fusion.
As for quintuple-elental ones, he didn’t even have a single one!
The more elents there were infused in the fragnt, the rarer they were, indeed.
“Dodola, since your spatial laws of nature comprehension was gained through comprehending a spatial laws of nature fragnt, then what happened to that spatial laws of nature fragnt after that? Where is it?”
ng Lei’s eyes shone brightly. Laws of nature fragnts were just like textbooks of knowledge, and comprehending the laws of nature within them was comparable to learning the knowledge recorded in the textbooks. Laws of nature fragnts would continue to exist even after one had comprehended them.
“What are you asking that for?”
Dodola raised an eyebrow.
“Give it to !” ng Lei said excitedly, “As long as I can get that spatial laws of nature fragnt, I’ll have a way to comprehend spatial laws of nature!”
“You’re imagining things.”
A slight jolt went through Dodola, and it said, “That spatial laws of nature fragnt is indeed with , but as a form of supre laws of nature, spatial laws of nature are billions and trillions of tis more complex and profound than basic laws of nature. It’s not sothing that you can comprehend.”
“Say no more and just give it to .” ng Lei snickered and said, “Of course, if you also have other laws of nature fragnts on you—such as quadruple-elental or quintuple-elental ones, or even supre laws of nature fragnts—you can also give them all to !”
“Dream on!”
Dodola had a wary look all over its face as it said, “I don’t mind telling you this—there are indeed quite a few laws of nature fragnts of various types among the assets that the great God of Ti left behind.
“But all of them belong to the God of Ti. Before you pass the God of Ti’s trial, I can’t give them to you!”
“Dodola, you’re too inflexible.”
ng Lei was rendered rather speechless. He said, “The God of Ti has already fallen a long ti ago. The so-called trial is also sothing that you’ve randomly set up. What sort of aning does it even hold for ? Don’t you try bluffing !”
Dodola sneered. “By the great God of Ti’s order, one must pass the relevant trial before they can inherit all his assets. Otherwise, they can forget about even entertaining the thought!”
ng Lei rolled his eyes and said, “Dodola, why are you so inflexible?”
“My life was bestowed upon by the great God of Ti. I will never defy his orders.” Dodola snorted and said, “It still goes back to the sa old thing. If you wish to obtain the spatial laws of nature fragnt and everything that belonged to the great God of Ti, then you must pass the trial first!”
“You’re really so...” ng Lei couldn’t be bothered to argue any further. He said, “So, tell , what other trials are there?”
The first trial was to gain the Dragon God Empire’s people’s faith within 10,000 years. He had undoubtedly aced that with flying colors.
Dodola’s eyes swiveled about round and round. After a mont of contemplation, it said, “You’re already a higher deity now. As a powerful higher deity, how can you not own power of faith domains that complent your status?”
“So?”
ng Lei raised an eyebrow and prompted Dodola further.
“Your second trial is—expand your territory, occupy at least 100 material planes, and make them your, a higher deity’s, power of faith domains!” answered a smiling Dodola.
“100 power of faith domains?” ng Lei frowned slightly. “Where am I supposed to find and occupy that many existential planes?”
“It’s very simple!”
Dodola snickered and said, “Within an approximate range of 100 lightyears around Heaven’s Vault Continent exists many material planes that numbers definitely no fewer than 500. Among them are also the Beast God’s and the Titan Spiritual God’s power of faith domains.”
“Lightyears?”
ng Lei was surprised. Did the concept of lightyears also exist in this world?
“Lightyears are a unit of distance. It refers to the distance that light travels in a straight line in one year in the Void and asures about one trillion kiloters.”
Dodola explained, “The Void is endless and boundless, so the units of asurent for length in Heaven’s Vault Continent evidently won’t be suitable for use when it cos to the Void.”
“Fair enough!”
ng Lei nodded. Then, he asked, “Do you an to say that there are another 500-odd material planes within 100 lightyears of Heaven’s Vault Continent?”
“Yes, that’s right. 100 lightyears covers an extrely vast area and is enough to contain too many material planes. 500 existential planes are already considered very few and sparsely distributed.”
Dodola nodded slightly and added, “Additionally, almost all of those material planes are controlled by true gods, with the Beast God and the Titan Spiritual God being two among them.
“As the saying goes, ‘If one doesn’t take what the heavens bestow upon them, misfortune brought about by it would instead befall them’!”
The corners of ng Lei’s lips quirked upward and ford a smile. He said, “Since I’ve already beco a higher deity, then it naturally follows that those material planes should also beco my power of faith domains.”
“Work hard, then!” A smiling Dodola said, “As a higher deity, it doesn’t make sense if you don’t have enough power of faith domains to match your status.
“We’ll talk about this again later. For now, let’s deal with the stinky bug that is the Dragon God!”
ng Lei turned to the floating continent in front of him.
...
“Ambrose is really a piece of trash!
“He’s a great higher deity, yet a cheap b*stard that’s only just broken through killed him!
“Trash! They are all trash!”
Soone had excavated a fairly wide and spacious cave in the deepest depths of the floating continent.
Embedded in the walls all around were all sorts of gleaming and glittering jewels and crystals. They decorated the whole cave and made it a fine and glorious sight. It looked beautiful and dazzling.
A shiny gold rug was laid out on the ground. A muscular middle-aged man sat limply on it and drowned his sorrows in alcohol while grumbling aloud.
That man was exactly the Dragon God himself.
“It’s finished! All finished! My divine nation and all my years of savings. They are all gone!”
The Dragon God downed a jar of wine, his eyes brimming with grief, sorrow, and indignation.
After ng Lei had killed Ambrose, upon seeing that things had soured, he had imdiately taken all the savings that he could hold on himself and fled from his divine nation. He had abandoned even his divine nation and the innurable worshipers inside.
A divine nation and worshipers were undoubtedly extrely crucial to a deity. Without them, not only were all his years of work in managing them gone with the wind but he, as a deity, had also lost his roots.
If not driven to the most desperate of circumstances, who would resort to sothing like that?
“That cheap b*stard, it’s all his fault!”
The hysterical Dragon God’s eyes were bloodshot. “When I’ve tided over this crisis, I’ll definitely make you pay a heavy and painful price for that! I must throw you into a situation that’s one hundred... No, ten thousand tis worse than mine...”
“What a sha. I’m afraid you won’t have the opportunity to do that anymore.”
