Chapter 110: Vanko Wants to Cause Trouble

“You asked where Tony is?”
Hearing this, Hamr wrinkled his brows together, sowhat unable to keep up with Ivan’s brain circuits.
He was talking about how Phantom Kid and Batman’s appearance had ssed up the fair. And although Tony was the main initiator, he has not yet appeared on the stage, so, how on earth does Ivan expect Hamr to know where he is?!
“How would I know where Tony is?”
When Tony went to the roof of the center pavilion, no outsiders were present there, plus, he did not speak out loud yet. This is why Hamr, who was still in the pavilion, had no idea where Tony was.
And despite the fact that all the above can be deduced by only using two brain cells, Hamr didn’t give it any thought.
“Forget it, I think I know where he is, but it doesn’t matter anymore.”
Ivan chuckled, then changed the conversation.
“You just said that you want to cancel the display of the chanical legion?”
“I don’t think this is a good choice.”
Hamr smiled angrily.
“What do you think my purpose was to show the chanical army? It is to let everyone present see that these drones you built can beco a new army and get orders from the military!”
“But no one is going to take a look at the stage now. You told not to cancel the show. What should I do?”
“Do you know how difficult it is to be qualified for a show in the Stark Expo Center Pavilion? I don’t want to waste such an opportunity!”
“Take it easy, man.”
Ivan cald down Hamr’s rage.
“Didn’t you say that Phantom Kid and that… Batman appeared at the fair?”
“As far as I know, there should be a lot of generals in the Expo Center Pavilion, right? Imagine if you let them see how your chanical legion can catch that thief…”
At Ivan’s word, Hamr’s eyes moved slightly. What Ivan said was very reasonable!
“Isn’t it better to let people see the capability of the chanical soldiers directly rather than showcasing them idle on the stage?”
Although he couldn’t see Hamr’s expression, Ivan had already guessed Hamr’s excitent.
“Even if you say that, you have never agreed to demonstrate those drones in advance, so I don’t know anything about the so-called chanical army you made. Can they really be as practical as you said?”
“Sorry, Ivan, I don’t doubt your talents, but… I know too little about the performance, firepower, and combat effectiveness of those chanical soldiers.”
Although Hamr was very excited about Ivan’s proposal, he also had his own considerations.
Even though Ivan Vanko works in Hamr Industries, he is definitely not one of Hamr’s employees.
The two decided to team up for two reasons; one, is because they have a common enemy, Tony Stark; and the other is because Ivan has the technological knowledge to build the Arc reactor, even though Ivan’s technology is much more inferior than Stark’s.
However, there is currently no other person but Ivan, in the whole world, who can build the sa reactor.
Because this kind of technology cannot be completed by one or two people in one year or two, Stark Industries already had the prototype of the technical principles of the Arc Reactor as early as when Howard was alive.
At that ti, limited by that era’s technology and other various factors, Howard failed to complete his idea in his entire life.
It was not until decades later that Tony really made this invention.
Nonetheless, Ivan Vanko was able to build the reactor because his father Anton Vanko was Howard’s partner in the past, and both participated in the initial research of the Arc Reactor.
Compared to Tony, Ivan’s resource conditions were much worse.
But from another perspective, he was able to build an arc reactor out of a pile of broken scrap tal. His conditions were the sa as Tony’s when he built Mark I back in Afghanistan. One could deduce that Ivan’s scientific talent is actually almost the sa as Tony’s.
All in all, Hamr needs Ivan’s technology, and Ivan needs Hamr’s resources.
“Are you suspecting that my chanical army can’t even deal with a thief? I equipped them with the best weapon system. There is no enemy in the world that they can’t defeat.”
Ivan pretended to be dissatisfied,
“No need to think much, Hamr. Just release the chanical legion, and leave the rest to them.”
“Okay, okay, then I will release all these drones. If their performance is not approved by , you know how you will end up.”
Hamr thought for a while, but after all, he could not refuse the temptation. He agreed with Ivan’s suggestion, and finally, he threatened.
Inside Hamr Industries, Ivan ended the call with a glimr of coldness in his eyes.
He walked into a secret room, took out a long and thick safe, and opened it.
A pair of thick whip-like weapons laid in it…
Stark Expo, over the central pavilion.
Helicopters of the New York Police Departnt have surrounded Unit No. 7 and No. 12.
At this ti, Kid’s phantom had disappeared, leaving only two steel wires hanging below the helicopter.
At this scene, the air walk Kid perford was debunked.
“So it turns out that it was Kid’s accomplice who was piloting Unit No. 7… Unit No. 12 should belong to Batman’s accomplice then, right.”
George later realized that his n had been swapped.
Batman flew Unit No. 7 directly to the top of a building on the left.
Neither Phantom Kid nor his accomplice have been found, and only Batman knows this.
“Quickly, keep up with Unit No. 7 and 12! Be it Batman or Phantom Kid, get them arrested!”
George imdiately ordered all the helicopters.
More than a dozen helicopters landed in the direction of the building with Unit No. 7, and the rest followed the No. 12.
“Master Wayne, we are surrounded, what should we do now?”
Alfred said as he was wiping sweat from his forehead.
This was the second ti he discovered that Bruce had miscalculated the situation.
“Alfred, listen to my instructions carefully.”
Batman’s calm voice erged from the communicator, and that relieved Alfred a lot.
“Put on the mask now, you must not let them see your face, and then park the helicopter on top of the building on the right. Make sure that the helicopter is parked on the edge of the roof.”
“When I tell you to jump, don’t hesitate, just jump down!”
“Okay, Master Wayne.”
Alfred trusted Batman unconditionally and imdiately let the helicopter land down.
On the other side, Unit No. 7 had also landed on the edge of the building on the left. A dozen police helicopters followed closely, followed by dozens of police officers rushing down from the helicopter.
They slowly walked towards Unit No. 7 and ford a semi-circle.
Hearing only a bang, Batman crashed through the cockpit door and swooped downstairs.
His black bat wings opened instantly and flew towards the building where Alfred had landed.
