The start of the Blazing Banquet ant trouble.

But for Remilia, this was nothing troubleso. Since arriving in this world, she had always been interested in its Primogenitors. She even planned to beco one herself.

Using the banquet, rging with this world's system, and becoming one of its Primogenitors was a good idea.

The best part was that once she rged into this world's system, she could rid herself of her current weaknesses—sunlight, running water, and so on.

If she removed those weaknesses, her power would increase drastically.

And that didn't include the boost from becoming a Primogenitor.

In truth, becoming a Primogenitor had always been Remilia's goal, but her bloodline couldn't support it.

And by that era, the Primogenitor of her world had nearly all died out.

When the age of gods ended, divine beings vanished from history. Great youkai rose to dominance, only to weaken again as humanity's rationality and science threatened their existence.

Not everyone was a monster like Yukari Yakumo.

Realizing this, Yukari created Gensokyo. Remilia's bloodline—the last of the vampires—moved there as well.

The outside world had nearly no vampires left, let alone Primogenitors.

Back then, Remilia had zero hope of ever becoming a Primogenitor.

But now…

"Missing one beast shouldn't cause any real problem, right?"

Watching Flandre happily playing with Avrora, Remilia muttered under her breath.

It wasn't that she had suddenly gone soft. It was simply because her sister was involved.

No matter how cold Remilia acted, when sothing concerned soone close to her, she would inevitably change her stance.

You could say that in Gensokyo, there was no one who wasn't fiercely protective of their own people. Remilia was no exception.

Having soone who could keep her sister company and play with her every day wasn't a bad thing at all.

At least, that was what Remilia thought.

Suddenly, as if she sensed sothing, Remilia frowned and looked to the side.

In the next mont, her expression turned icy.

"Sister? What's wrong?"

Flandre tilted her head as she looked at Remilia, whose steps had co to an abrupt halt.

Remilia rely turned slightly and spoke lightly.

"Flandre, protect Avrora."

As she said this, Remilia raised her hand. Crimson magic began gathering in her palm.

Flandre also sensed sothing, imdiately pulling Avrora close.

Avrora whimpered softly, curling into Flandre's arms, her face filled with fear.

From the tall grass erged several n dressed in ominous black outfits, each wearing a beast-skull mask.

After briefly examining them, Remilia's eyes glead with cold amusent.

"So that's what you are. The so-called frongai, lower-tier vampires who can't even summon their beasts."

Her words didn't provoke any reaction from the masked figures. They simply stared coldly at Remilia and the others.

Then—

"10:28:17 — Contact with Number Twelve. Two companions confird as vampires. Initiating combat. After incapacitating the companions, recover Number Twelve."

The leader muttered chanically, clearly speaking into a communicator.

As soon as he finished the report, a wave of mana surged from their bodies.

Then ca the sound of tearing flesh.

Blades burst out from beneath their skin — every one of them infused with magic.

Seeing this, Remilia was montarily speechless.

"I see. Since you lack familiars, you stuffed weapons under your skin and rely on your vampire vitality to survive. Vampires in this world really put all their points into the wrong skills."

She rubbed her temple, genuinely baffled.

Why were the vampires in this world always relying on weapons or external beasts?

Sure, she had Gungnir — but she never used the original. Only the replicas she created herself.

If her physical strength was weak, she trained her body.

If her magic was lacking, she studied harder.

If she didn't know sothing, she asked a friend.

There was always a way to grow through personal effort.

Relying on external things instead of improving yourself was simply a crooked path.

And she refused to believe that the three Primogenitors of this world beca so strong solely because of their familiars.

Combat experience, magic capacity, technique — all were indispensable.

Even with Primogenitor blood, refusing to grow ant nothing.

Ignoring Remilia's comnts, the frongai lunged at her, blades igniting with magic and turning into raging flas as they slashed downward.

Several others tried to rush toward Flandre.

But—

"Who allowed you to touch my sister right in front of ?!"

Remilia's blood-red eyes snapped open.

The air froze.

With her cold voice as the trigger, overwhelming magic burst from her body. Scarlet aurora condensed into a spear in her hand.

The shockwave swept outward, violently flinging every frongai away.

Flandre quickly pulled Avrora back to avoid the blast.

Before any of them could react, Remilia casually hurled the spear.

It pierced the communicator wielder instantly, pinning him to the wall behind him.

Then Remilia's eyes turned sharp. In a flash like crimson radiance, she dashed toward the remaining frongai.

Clawing, tearing—

Her attacks were brutal, efficient, and final.

Every strike was a clean kill, ripping her enemies apart in a single motion. Remilia even looked like she was enjoying the fight, her lips slightly curved in satisfaction.

And she did all this with only one hand. The other held her parasol the entire ti.

That's right — these frongai couldn't even break her parasol before being slaughtered.

So crashed into walls.

So into the grass.

So into nearby stores.

Blood pooled beneath their mangled bodies as they lost consciousness, unable to fight any longer.

"What a boring fight. They send these worthless things to steal Avrora?"

Remilia scoffed, glancing at the fallen bodies.

Looking at the blood on her hand, she flicked it aside, scattering droplets onto the ground.

Just as she turned around, the sound of applause echoed.

Remilia's eyes narrowed as she turned slightly, her magic gathering again.

The voice that followed made both Remilia and Flandre frown in irritation.
