71 Chapter 70: Javier

The face of the student was covered by his black hood, making it impossible to see. He swatted at a corner as he spoke and his voice echoed across the abandoned alley.

“How did his blood taste?” Damon finally looked up, revealing fiery purple eyes as he asked the question.

Hearing this the face of the bartender twisted and he instinctively clenched his fist. He didn’t know what to say or how to reply to the kids’ words.

“I heard students are currently busy with internships. You shouldn’t waste your ti coming to my bar anymore.... You are too young to drink anyway” the bartender said coldly and turned to leave without hesitation.

“Of course, I already started my internship. Guess who I work for?” Damon said which made the bartender stop. His hands curled into a fist and his eyes turned cold. His body trembled a bit but he seed to regain his composure and when he turned to et Damon’s gaze he had a smile on his face.

“For a man, it is a sin to put on makeup. Let the world see your pale little face... Anyway, hiding within a bar all through the day is quite smart. With a legit business, no one would suspect you. But don’t you think you have killed enough holess n on the streets? Even normal people already know you have close relationships with a lot of holess n who went missing after a while” Damon said.

“What are you trying to say?” The youth asked.

“I’m saying two things that blew your cover. My hands brushed against yours while you kept serving drinks. I was really high but damn, your hands were cold as fuck. That and the holess n stories blew your cover... And just in case you are confused. My internship is with the Hail family. They sent ” Damon said the last part with a grin that revealed his fangs.

The bartender hissed like a snake and quickly jumped onto the wall, scaling it like it was nothing! Damon stood and watched in shock as the bartender ran up the wall like he was running on the ground and frowned.

Javier ran through the night, jumping from rooftop to rooftop with a frightening look on his face. His eyes had dark circles and were blood red now instead of orange!

In the past, you could see vampires roaming every part of the world, breaking into hos at night and drinking to their fill while hiding during the dayti. The Blood clans, first blood soon ca and created the blood clan at the center of the continent. There they withdrew from empires and gathered there to form what one could consider a nation of their own.

This kingdom attracted all the vampires across the world, pulling them over to that side. The original inhabitants of that area were turned into livestock, reared by the vampires like sheep and cattle. With the laws and rules on the ground, feeding has never been a problem. Humans reproduce fast and grow even faster! It can be considered a paradise for them!

Javier’s duty was to gather any vampires found here and send them to the holand of all vampires. In fact, if possible he was allowed to turn people and send them over!

One way or another, he was blistering the forces of the vampires!

He was no small player on the list even though he was lacking in strength.

“Of course he did. He is a fast runner but I have co across people who can run better” Damon suddenly landed on the rooftop and spoke with a calm smile on his face.

He has heard so much about the blood clan but has rarely encountered them. These vampires were far more organized and powerful than anyone would think. That is why they have a country of their own and yet not even the normal citizens of this country know about it.

If allowed to exist even longer, the human race that these vampires desperately seek to replace will be wiped out eventually.

“I apologize, I know we sacred you but the kingdom is about to mobilize forces to invade the blood clan again but this ti they want you dead before letting out the news” Damon said coldly.
