The last word “good girl~” was said with the utmost tenderness, but Nanxi could only feel a pang of sadness. She asked, “Lu Yinchu, why didn’t you co pick up last night…”

Her voice soft and sowhat wronged.
Lu Yinchu’s voice deepened, “Nanxi, sothing ca up last night and I couldn’t co pick you up. Be obedient and I’ll co see you once I’m done.”
Nanxi was about to agree and hang up the phone when she suddenly heard the voice of a woman from the other side, “Sir, I’m applying your dicine. Can you take your call later?”
The hair on Nanxi’s neck stood up as she asked again, “Lu Yinchu, where are you? Tell where you are!”
Lu Yinchu frowned, feeling that he couldn’t hide the truth any longer, finally said, those two simple words, “Hospital!”

Nanxi rushed to the hospital half an hour later, the sa hospital owned by the Gu family.

He tenderly kissed her eyes and lips, comforting her, “Nanxi, I’m alright. Don’t cry… You look so ugly when you cry!”
Nanxi ignored him, tears continuing to flow down her cheeks. Especially seeing Lu’s charming face showing signs of exhaustion, her heart ached unbearably and she cried harder!
“Lu Yinchu, what happened to you? Why are you injured? Tell , tell …”
Lu Yinchu sighed, “Nanxi, I…”
“It was …”
A clear, cold male voice interrupted Lu Yinchu’s words, “I was the one who hit him!”
Nanxi was stunned. She turned around and saw Gui Xi standing at the entrance in a white coat, as elegant and striking as ever. Like Lu Yinchu, there was a bruise at the corner of his mouth and his forehead was wrapped in gauze.
What’s going on…
Confused, Nanxi turned back to look at Lu Yinchu, her eyes full of uncertainty. She wanted to know what had happened. Had the two of them had a fight?!
“I’m sorry, I didn’t realize that your injury from eight years ago still hadn’t healed…”
Gui Xi walked over, his voice laced with guilt, “I was too heavy-handed. Are you… are you alright?”
Lu Yinchu stared at him for a mont, a sowhat eerie silence falling over the room. Nanxi stood frozen, unsure of what to say…

Just then, a figure appeared at the entrance. Nanxi looked over in surprise to see it was Guan La!
She was about to call out “Sister Lan”, when she saw Guan La stride over to Gui Xi and, without delay, she slapped him across the face…
Nanxi was stunned, as was the young nurse nearby…
Only Lu Yinchu remained silent, his eyebrows furrowed, while Gui Xi stood composed, showing no sign of agitation.
Catching her breath, Guan La’s voice rung out, cutting like a knife,
She said, “Gui Xi, you’ve truly disappointed ! Do you know how relieved I am now that I didn’t choose you in the past!”
