She could only anxiously wait for Ji Chicheng’s call.

After seeing off Ji Chicheng on the plane with Qi Helian, Qi Helian drove her back to pack her luggage.

She had only packed her docunts, and hadn’t brought the clothes she brought with her or bought here, thinking that she would be back before long.

So she didn’t bother with it.

Qi Helian was staying in a luxury suite in a hotel in the center of N City, which was very large and more than seventy floors high; standing by the window, one could enjoy many night views of N City.

But at that mont, she wasn’t in the mood to appreciate the beautiful scenery, holding her phone in her hand, anxiously waiting for news.

’Even if we never see each other again, we will et...’

Finally, her phone rang, and Anning excitedly looked down to see the caller ID. It was Ji Chicheng.

She hurriedly answered and put it to her ear, "Uncle, is there any news about Grandpa? How is he?"

Ji Chicheng said, "I just got on the phone with Doctor Zhang, and he has woken up. He is now being kept in the hospital for observation."

Upon hearing this, Ji Anning sighed with relief, "Then don’t worry too much; close your eyes and rest on the way, and call when you get there."

Ji Chicheng also instructed her worriedly from the other end, "Have Qi Helian order a al for you, and go to sleep early."

"Okay."

After hanging up, Ji Anning took a long breath out, hugging one arm with her other hand, and gazed out through the window at the flickering neon lights.

She suddenly felt lonely and a bit desolate.

She couldn’t help but hug her arms tighter.

"Ding-dong."

The doorbell suddenly rang, interrupting Ji Anning’s lancholy and chaotic thoughts, "Ah."

Sighing at the air, she then turned around to open the door.

The sight that t her was Qi Helian’s enchanting face; he had taken off his suit and was now wearing a light beige sweater, his flirtatious aura slightly subdued, adding a touch of refinent.

His hands were in the pockets of his ash-gray sweatpants, and he looked down at Ji Anning, "Let’s go eat."

"I’m not hungry, you go ahead," Ji Anning weakly replied to Qi Helian, letting go of the door handle and turning to walk back inside.

Qi Helian followed behind her, "It seems I’ll have to lie to your uncle then."

Ji Anning stopped, turned back, and asked Qi Helian, "Which floor is the restaurant on?"

Qi Helian replied, "The third floor."

"Wait for a second," Ji Anning nodded, quickly went to her room to get her wallet, and stuffed her phone into it.

Qi Helian stood by the door, and she told him, "We can go now."

It was past alti, and the restaurant wasn’t very crowded. There was a table in the corner, apparently soone’s birthday celebration, with a man and a woman at the table and a cake in the middle, with soone playing the violin nearby.

Ji Anning and her company entered and found a spot to sit down near the entrance.

"Take a look, the pri steak here is not bad; at least it’s what I’m used to," Qi Helian opened the nu and handed it to Ji Anning.

Hearing his recomndation, Ji Anning didn’t look at the nu and responded, "Then let’s go with that."

"Alright," Qi Helian nodded, took back the nu, flipping it to the drinks page, glanced at it, then looked at Ji Anning, "Would you like to drink papaya juice?"

Ji Anning frowned, "Why papaya?"

The question was almost a reflex, as she had been researching papayas for days to determine if they had any effect.

Thinking she did not like it without questioning further, he scanned the nu again, "Then how about mango orange juice, how’s that?"
