This person is so self-absorbed he’s expressionless; he’s what you’d call a poker face, huh.
Ji Anning found it dull and pouted before raising her cara again to vigorously snap pictures of Ji Chicheng’s nape.
"Mmm, keep updated on the optimized data," he said.
"Push the next eting to February."
"That’ll be all."
After ending a phone call, Ji Chicheng turned around, reached out to cover Ji Anning’s lens, and frowned slightly at her, "You can stare at every day."
Ji Chicheng blushed, "Who said I want to stare at your photos."
Ji Chicheng chuckled without saying a word, just as his mobile phone received a ssage which he checked.
Not knowing what he saw, his eyebrows furrowed, as if he had encountered a problem.
Ji Anning couldn’t help but ask, "Uncle, what exactly are you working on here? Is the company big?"
He was running here every other day, and during the days she had been here, she saw him constantly busy with endless phone calls, all instructing work.

Ji Chicheng sent a ssage and then looked at Ji Anning, "It’s enough to support you and many children."

Ji Chicheng nodded, "Alright, I’ll take you there tomorrow."

As Ji Anning was still talking, Ji Chicheng wrapped his arm around her slender waist, dragging her along and almost lifting her off her feet.
Unable to control her steps, Ji Anning was uncomfortable; she struggled as she frowned at Ji Chicheng and asked, "Where are we going?"
"To eat."
Ji Chicheng answered her, his tone sounding a bit moody, as if he was emotional.
Ji Anning tilted her head, just as she was about to scrutinize Ji Chicheng’s face color, his mobile phone suddenly rang again.
He released Ji Anning and fished out his mobile phone from his pocket. Seeing the caller ID, he narrowed his eyes in speculation before finally answering the call to his ear.
The sound from his phone’s earpiece was very soft; even though Ji Anning was right next to him, she couldn’t hear what the person on the other end was saying. She watched him quietly, only to see his pupils suddenly shrink and a look of tension appear on his face.
What happened?
Ji Anning’s heart also tensed up.
"I understand."
It wasn’t until Ji Chicheng hung up the phone that an anxious Ji Anning asked, "Uncle, what happened?"
Ji Chicheng didn’t look at her, still gazing at his phone as he dialed another number and responded, "The Old Master suddenly fainted, he’s now in the hospital."
At this news, Ji Anning’s face went pale with nervousness, her hand gripping Ji Chicheng’s clothes tightly, "So, what do we do?"
"I’ll head back first. I’ll call Qi Helian to co pick you up in a mont; his flight is tomorrow night. You’ll go back with him," Ji Chicheng said while making arrangents for his return flight.
Realizing the seriousness of the situation, Ji Anning did not disturb him, and listened to all his arrangents.
In the end, Ji Chicheng left on a private jet, and Ji Anning didn’t ask him why he didn’t take her back with him.
Because she trusted him, so his arrangents must be right.
At this mont, what worried her most was the Old Master’s health; she just couldn’t put her mind at ease, not knowing his current condition, and she couldn’t find the right person to ask.
