This was too considerate, so considerate that she couldn’t adapt all at once, and she pushed away Ji Chicheng’s hand. Ji Anning bent down and sat down beside him, reaching out to take the bowl from his hands.

But Ji Chicheng still held the spoon, very insistently following her lips, "No one has ever been treated like this, only you."

Ji Anning: "..."

This narcissism really leaves one... at a loss for words.

Having the proud Young Master Ji personally feed her made her wonder if her ancestors’ graves were emitting green smoke.

Ji Chicheng kept talking and, ignoring Ji Anning’s discomfort, persisted in prying her mouth open with the spoon.

Ji Anning was half-pushed, half-coaxed by him, and swallowed a spoonful of porridge, which had a bit of sugar added, sweet and spreading everywhere.

After swallowing the mouthful of porridge, she still felt a lingering taste and pursed her lips, savoring it.

Ji Chicheng scooped another spoonful and brought it to her lips, his movents as graceful as always, his deanor still so noble.

The feeling he gave her was still so domineering, yet within that dominance, there was warmth, care, and affection that made her heart feel warm, and the dominance sohow made him seem adorable.

The word "adorable" was really unsuitable to describe the cold him, but that was exactly how she felt.

Spoonful followed spoonful.

Ji Anning kept awkwardly opening her mouth and awkwardly swallowing, the blush on her face had spread to her ears.

Ji Chicheng, without changing his expression, finally finished feeding her the last bite, then gave her a slight roll of his eyes, "What’s there to be shy about?"

Ignoring Ji Anning’s shyness, he stood up, put the bowl on the table, and then poured a cup of water for her, handing it to Ji Anning, "In the future, I’ll often feed you, you’ll gradually get used to it."

He didn’t feel the slightest bit embarrassed, just as if he were announcing so news.

"Thank you." Ji Anning took the cup of water and was still too shy to lift her head to look at Ji Chicheng, having just eaten a bowl of sweet porridge, the feeling of dizziness was gone.

She took a sip of water and then kept nervously biting on the rim of the glass.

Ji Chicheng looked at her and, finding it amusing, indulgently curved his lips but didn’t talk to her anymore, turning around to sit down on the lounge chair, then grabbing his laptop and placing it on his lap.

"Uncle."

Ji Anning looked at Ji Chicheng and suddenly called out.

Ji Chicheng turned his head to look at her, his eyes questioning. Ji Anning pursed her lips, contemplating for a mont before she spoke, "I need to ask you for a favor."

"Speak," Ji Chicheng lazily moved his hand from the laptop’s keyboard, leaning back leisurely as he looked at Ji Anning.

Curious about what favor she needed, it was rare for her to ask him for help.

Now that she had spoken, Ji Anning didn’t hesitate anymore, "Jingfeng told my mother is very ill on Garden Island, I was planning to visit her, but then an accident happened."

She lowered her head sadly as she spoke.

Earlier, in the restroom, she had thought about asking him as soon as she ca out, but she was distracted by his thoughtfulness.

"So?" Ji Chicheng raised his eyebrows, his expression turning sowhat cold.

Seeing his deanor, Ji Anning felt uncertain, but she didn’t give up, "Could you please speak to Grandfather, ask him to allow my mother to receive dical treatnt at the hospital?"

"No."

Ji Chicheng refused without hesitation, his tone cold. After speaking, he straightened up, continuing to gaze at his computer screen.

Clearly, he was telling Ji Anning to drop the subject.
