Fruit platters and appetizer dishes were served wave after wave.
"Anning, you’ve been eating non-stop since we started."
Seeing Ji Anning finish off another appetizer dish, Qi Helian looked at her amusedly and said.
Before Ji Anning could respond, Ji Chicheng shot a resentful glance over, "Is she eating at your expense?"
Qi Helian frowned, "I’m talking to Anning, what’s it to you?"
After asking, he gave Ji Chicheng a disdainful look and continued looking at Ji Anning.
Watching Ji Anning stuff an entire segnt of orange into her mouth, he felt a burst of joy in his heart.
It was delightful.
After swallowing the orange, Ji Anning also threw Ji Chicheng a disdainful look, then turned back to Qi Helian with a smile, "Brother Qi, don’t mind him."
As she spoke, she picked up another segnt of orange, but suddenly paused, looked at Qi Helian with disdain and asked, "Am I really getting fat?"
"No."
Ji Chicheng and Qi Helian both almost spoke in unison, answering Ji Anning.
Soone once told her.
The person who truly loves you sees you as perfect no matter how you are. A man who truly adores you, like your parents, will never think you’re fat.
At this mont, Ji Anning felt imnsely happy.
Truly, truly happy.
"You’re just lying to , everyone says I’m getting fat." She pouted and put the orange back on the fruit platter.
Qi Helian reached out to pick up the orange and handed it to her, "You were too skinny before; even if you’ve gained so weight, you’re still slim. Ji Chicheng wouldn’t dare to dislike you."
Ji Anning took the orange, but didn’t feel like eating it anymore. Looking at Qi Helian, she sighed and said, "I’m so bored staying at ho."
Really bored, with nothing to do but eat and watch TV, or fiddle with the flowers and plants in the yard.
Qi Helian said, "In a few days, we’ll be shooting in Hai City, co over and have so fun."
Before Ji Anning could answer, Ji Chicheng’s cold voice rang out, "Don’t go to places like that, full of chaos."
Sitting upright, he cast a sideways glance at Qi Helian, looking all proud.
Ji Anning ignored him, smiling and nodding to Qi Helian, "Okay, if you have any work suitable for there, introduce ."
Qi Helian didn’t agree to this; he said, "Forget about work for now, we’ll talk about it after you’ve given birth."
Not to ntion Ji Chicheng wouldn’t agree, he wouldn’t either.
"I’m serious," Ji Anning looked earnestly at Qi Helian, "If there’s any work suitable for now, let know. I think people should keep themselves occupied; I’m getting too lazy, prematurely slipping into a retired lifestyle."
She wasn’t sure if it was the pregnancy causing mood changes; she found daily life quite dull now.
Ji Chicheng saw Ji Anning grabbing Qi Helian’s arm and found it very displeasing, feeling uncomfortable inside.
He reached out and pulled Ji Anning’s hand back, holding it tightly, then looked at her discontentedly, raising an eyebrow to ask, "Even if you’re slipping into retired mode, you’re doing so together with . Isn’t that enough?"
They were currently inseparable, which had been his dream for years.
And she was saying she felt this was lazy, expressing her discontent with spending every day with him.
