Ji Anning listened, her heart ward.
Without further pushing, she looked at the man’s handso face close at hand and playfully said, "You’re going to spoil like this."
"Show how you’d be spoiled," Ji Chicheng reached out, lightly teasing Ji Anning’s chin, his eyes full of laughter as he gazed at her.
His shining eyes were as brilliant as the stars in the sky.
Seeing this, Ji Anning’s heart pounded, like a deer caught in the throes of first love.
Suddenly, a breeze blew in, lifting the curtains. Ji Anning rembered the door was open, "Stop it, the door is open. What if soone cos in?"
As she said this, she pushed Ji Chicheng away and imdiately stood up.
Ji Chicheng did not intend to tease her further, and switched to a more authoritative tone, advising her, "Look at the computer for a while, but not too long."
"Understood, I’ll close the door first." Ji Anning nodded, turning to walk towards the door.
At the doorway, she reached for the doorknob, preparing to close the door.
From the diagonal opposite room, Ji Ruoqian’s angry voice suddenly ca through.
"I’m so mad, I even doubt if Ji Chicheng is really my uncle, or if I’m really his niece."
Ji Ruoqian left Ji Chicheng’s room, storming into Ji Xiangting’s room, tossing the computer onto her bed in fury.
Ji Xiangting was sitting at the computer table reading, disturbed by Ji Ruoqian’s arrival.
Seeing Ji Ruoqian co in with the computer to complain, she knew what had happened, and instead of comforting her, she reproached her, "You asked for it. If your computer is broken, why didn’t you take it to the shop to get it fixed? Or buy a new one? Aren’t you embarrassed?"
She would never ask those two for help with anything.
"There are a lot of docunts on the computer, and lots of photos not backed up. So frustrating." Ji Ruoqian anxiously scratched her head and then lay on the bed, staring at the ceiling, "I can’t stay in this house any longer."
She said, "Since Ji Anning and uncle ca back, aunt hasn’t felt as close to us as before, even supporting their being together. I really don’t know what she’s thinking."
The fact that Ji Chicheng is not the old man’s biological son is sothing that, besides Ji Anning and Ji Mingyue, no one else in this house knows.
With Ji Chicheng in this house, they always seed to be a tier lower.
