After eating and drinking to her fill, An Yin sat down on the edge of the bed.

She needed to consider the part-ti job issue.

The clothes and shoes Bao Shaojin bought for her were undoubtedly very expensive.

Given her financial situation, she feared she would have to repay the money slowly.

Regarding the job that Shen Jingrou suggested before, after careful thought, An Yin decided to politely decline it.

Since she’s not bright-minded, she knew that part of the reason for the job offer was her help with the fainted little one.

Since she needed to work, An Yin didn’t want soone to hire her out of gratitude.

So, she decided to look for another part-ti job.

She took out her phone, composed a ssage, and sent it to Shen Jingrou.

An Yin: [Sister Jingrou, thank you for your kindness. I’d like to find the part-ti job myself.]

After sending the ssage, she felt a weight lifted off her shoulders!

In less than three seconds, she received a reply.

Shen Jingrou: [I respect your choice. Sister Jingrou’s dessert shop always welcos you!]

Seeing Shen Jingrou’s ssage made An Yin feel warm inside.

An Yin: [Thank you, Sister Jingrou, you’re so kind!]

Shen Jingrou: [Get so rest. I need to read a bedti story to the little one.]

An Yin: [Okay, goodnight!]

After finishing the chat with Shen Jingrou, An Yin sat down at the desk and opened her laptop.

Sitting in front of the computer, she seriously looked at the overwhelming job listings, feeling dizzy.

She didn’t have many part-ti jobs she could apply for; after choosing back and forth, her eyes settled on tea shops, hot pot restaurants, and coffee shops, but the part-ti wages listed were too low.

How long would it take for her to save enough money to repay Bao Shaojin!

While she was worried, her eyes were caught by a job listing.

[Hiring bar staff, part-ti available, wages paid daily, 100 RMB per hour, plus commissions!]

Actually, when she saw the word "bar," she was resistant, as the scene from the attack at Bao Cheng’s club instantly flashed in her mind.

However, out of all the part-ti job listings she’d looked at, this bar offered the highest salary!

Inside, she had a bit of a willingness to try, but when she thought about the mixed crowd in a bar and the many people she’d have to interact with, she hesitated again.

"Are you looking for a part-ti job?" Shi Qing, coming out of the bathroom, accidentally saw the webpage on An Yin’s computer as she passed by.

Shi Qing’s gaze froze montarily when she saw the na of the bar on the webpage.

"Yes." An Yin turned her head, seeing Shi Qing’s gaze on her computer, she couldn’t help but ask, "Are you familiar with this bar?"

"I work part-ti there." Shi Qing’s tone was calm, as if it had nothing to do with her.

"Ah?" An Yin looked at her in surprise, "You’re always back to the dorm late, turns out it was for a part-ti job?"

"What did you think?"

Shi Qing looked at An Yin’s pure and fair face and responded.

"I thought you were at the library." That would fit her academic persona, An Yin mused privately.

Hearing An Yin’s answer, Shi Qing was montarily speechless. It seed that in others’ eyes, she was just a complete bookworm who only knew how to deal with books all day.

An Yin saw her remain silent for a while and thought she was angry, intending to apologize, but then heard her ask.

"Do you want to work at this bar?" As she spoke, Shi Qing’s curved eyebrows slightly knitted.

An Yin didn’t expect her to suddenly ask about the job, was stunned for a mont, then honestly replied, "I want to earn more money, and among the job listings, this bar offers the highest salary."

That was her honest thought, but she also had concerns!

After all, it was a bar she was going to.

If her mother found out about this, just thinking about the consequences made An Yin shiver involuntarily!

An Ying could be quite terrifying when she was angry!

"The salary at this bar is indeed quite high." Shi Qing told her the truth.

Hearing Shi Qing say this, An Yin imdiately beca interested, "Since you work there, how’s the environnt?"

"It’s a high-end bar. The patrons are either wealthy or aristocratic. Depending on which position you apply for, if it’s just a simple server, it’s the salary you saw." Shi Qing stopped there.

As for other positions, she didn’t explain in detail.

These matters, one would need to be in the industry to see them firsthand before understanding the nuances within.

"Then if soone tries to bully you, would anyone step in?" That was what An Yin was most concerned about.

"Of course." Shi Qing answered decisively.

There were so words Shi Qing left unsaid. Most female staff in the bar wished for wealthy patrons to harass them, and a few might even actively flirt with those rich playboys...

Looking at An Yin’s clear eyes, so words Shi Qing ultimately held back.

After being roommates for years, although they rarely interacted, Shi Qing felt confident in her judgnt of people. An Yin’s world should be pure; a part-ti job at a bar wasn’t suitable for her!

Those darker aspects weren’t sothing she could handle!

"Shi Qing, I want to apply to the place where you work." With innocent eyes, An Yin’s face was full of sincerity.

An Yin’s thinking was simple: Since soone as outstanding as Shi Qing can handle the bar environnt, then she should be able to as well! Plus, having an acquaintance there made her less scared.

Shi Qing didn’t expect her to decide so quickly, "Bar part-ti jobs are quite tiring. You could check out those tea shops instead."

Shi Qing was subtly trying to dissuade her.

"I did, but the salary at tea shops is too low." An Yin didn’t pick up on Shi Qing’s real intention and continued speaking on her own.

"Are you urgently in need of money?" Other than that explanation, Shi Qing couldn’t figure out why An Yin was in a hurry to go sowhere with high pay.

And in An Yin’s well-behaved worldview, wasn’t a bar supposed to be chaotic?

An Yin shyly nodded; she owed a certain man’s money and had to repay it, otherwise, she’d be worrying about it all the ti, unable to eat or sleep!

She was soone who feared owing anything to anyone.

"Well, next Friday after we have dinner at school, I’ll take you to have a look. If you can adapt to that environnt, then go ahead and apply."

Having said this much, Shi Qing didn’t want to interfere further.

"Thank you!" An Yin was filled with happiness hearing Shi Qing’s words.

Shi Qing saw her excited expression and felt sowhat helpless. Who gets so happy about finding a job?

Having had enough, Shi Qing took her clothes and prepared for a shower and bed.

As An Yin watched Shi Qing head to the bathroom, she suddenly felt her roommate becoming affable. Previously, she always thought Shi Qing didn’t like interacting with people, but after talking for half the night, she found that she quite liked Shi Qing’s aloof personality.

However, thinking about her friend Jiang Keke’s relationship with Shi Qing brought an instant headache.

An Yin had noticed Jiang Keke’s unfriendly attitude towards Shi Qing, and in the past, it never really mattered to her!
