Chapter 546: Chapter 419: Hoarding Thousands upon Thousands for Natural Disasters, Raising a Child, I Let It Go 7_2

“It’s really delicious,” Wen Qingyu said after tasting, unable to stop singing its praises.

The two of them quickly wrapped everything up and stored it away.

Having just finished eating and drinking, Su Zhiruan thought about relaxing for a while.

The temperature on the indoor thermoter hanging on the wall had risen a bit, now only at negative 30°C.

Perhaps it was because the snow had fallen so heavily that the thick snow enveloped the house, actually insulating it much like an Arctic ice house.

Su Zhiruan went upstairs to get a shovel and two hamrs.

“Let’s see if we can get the door open,” Su Zhiruan handed one of the hamrs to Wen Qingyu, “With the snow so heavy, let’s try to create a small space at the door.”

No sooner said than done, initially, the doors and windows were frozen shut. They started with hot water, laboriously beginning from the weakest edge, and after a long ti, the door finally “crackled” twice, showing signs of breaking open.

When the door was finally opened, the coldness hit them instantly, and what appeared before their eyes was a thick layer of snow that had buried the doors and windows, even maintaining its shape after opening.

Su Zhiruan hamred twice with the hamr and found that all she could scrape off were pieces of ice, clearly indicating it had frozen solid.

She scraped a few more tis, not being greedy and just leaving a very small space.

With such heavy snow, she could make her purchased pears into frozen pears.

Su Zhiruan calculated in her mind.

Initially, when buying fruit, she had bought different varieties of pears, and to make frozen pears, it was best to choose those that were juicy and crisp, like Autumn bai pears or white pears.

She planned to bury these pears in the snow, leaving them outside to freeze naturally.

Under normal winter conditions to make frozen pears, the outdoor temperature needs to be low enough, but now, with the apocalypse upon them, they completely t that condition.

“Once they’re frozen, how do we eat them?” Wen Qingyu watched her movents, and while he started helping, he curiously asked Su Zhiruan.

Su Zhiruan tightened her collar and patiently explained, “Once they’re fully frozen, we just slightly thaw them in warm water, and they’ll be very sweet.”

Suddenly, it seed as though she rembered sothing, and turned to Wen Qingyu, poking him playfully on the shoulder, “Wen Qingyu, I have a bold guess, do you want to hear it?”

“What?”

“I suspect you must be a young master from a wealthy family!” Su Zhiruan gave a plausible explanation and continued to provide evidence, “Really, I’ve noticed you don’t recognize many dishes. What I prepare are just ordinary als, and besides, you don’t look like an ordinary person.”

Wen Qingyu was slightly surprised after hearing her words, then shook his head, “I don’t know.”

Su Zhiruan briefly thought about it, but couldn’t figure it out, so she gave up on thinking further about it.

The mories of the world’s original inhabitant weren’t much help to her.

And the system hadn’t given her more explanation.

In the original inhabitant’s mories, she was always working, constantly working and then giving the money to the Su Family. She was oppressed by the Su family, exploited by her parents with the excuse “we gave birth to you, we raised you,” and in the end, she was unbelievably dismbered and eaten.

Whether it was the upper-class tycoons or entertainnt stars, the original inhabitant didn’t know much.

She hadn’t even watched a complete TV drama for many years.

About this, Su Zhiruan didn’t leave the original inhabitant feeling regretful; she downloaded many TV series and movies on her device.

Since her quick-traveling, the cultural products of each world varied slightly, sothing Su Zhiruan was very pleased with. Each world she visited for her mission offered different and novel film and television works.

“Have you watched movies? How about we watch a movie together tonight?” The two huddled back onto the couch, Su Zhiruan suggested excitedly.

“I don’t have any mories, I don’t rember anything, anything is fine,” Wen Qingyu left the choice up to Su Zhiruan.

Su Zhiruan nodded and casually started up a horror film.

As eerie, haunting music began to play, the first thing that ca into view was a pile of human heads on the ground.

Eyeless, quite horrifying.

As Su Zhiruan watched, she also brought out her entire set of tea-making equipnt.

She had also prepared so seeds and sweets on the table.

The tea set bubbled up with steam, and the fragrance of tea wafted through the air.

Su Zhiruan wasn’t skilled in professional tea brewing techniques; it was just the two of them, so she just threw tea leaves into the pot and brewed it directly, quickly turning the tea soup into a deep red color, and poured a cup for each of them.
