Sovtira blinked, her eyes thoughtful. "Could it be that the brainwashing happening is because of that enemy?"

John nodded. "I want all of you to do so research. Do it in your Emperor-rank Tars. Sovitra, your Sovereign-rank Tars may have been brainwashed or whatever, because from your storage pouch, I was attacked by a powerful poison."

"Bring your two Sovereign-rank who were with you here." John narrowed his eyes. "It’s ti to snuff out the enemy."
Sovitra couldn’t believe it, but she decided to call those two Sovereign-rank Tars here.
One man and one woman, both at the peak of Sovereign-rank.
John tapped his feet on the ground while using Voidspace, replacing the floor of the garden with his Monster Paradise.
Using Molding Essence, he completely restricted those two Tars.
"This...what’s going on, Lady Sovitra?"

Both Tars were bewildered.
Sovitra looked at them and then turned to John. "Mr. Sirius. How would you identify them?"
"Don’t worry. Just watch."
John first used Molding Essence. ’Tell if they are affected by sothing external.’
[ Yes. Their souls are possessed by devils. They have already lost free will, but these devils have absorbed their mories, and completely transford into their persona, heeding the command of their creator. ]
"It looks like both of them are gone-cases," John muttered as he coldly smiled while looking at both. "Hey, I suppose you can see and hear through these two."
Everyone couldn’t understand what was happening.
But suddenly, the man grinned and his voice changed, becoming jarring as two voices conjoined. "Well, well. You sure act fast."
Everyone was shocked.
Sovitra looked at those two, completely flabbergasted.
She couldn’t help but sense her own people changing!

"You...release my people!" Sovitra coldly said.
The woman demon snorted, and her voice also changed. "Shut up, bitch. They are already dead."
"So Mr. Sirius, the gift I gave you is more wicked than you. I hope you enjoy it."
"As for these two...well, they are useless now that you exposed them." The woman demon sighed. "I’ll be taking back my pawns. But before I go, allow to wish you good luck. I hope we’ll have a lot of fun."
The woman demon licked her lips and winked at John. Right after that, both Tars’ eyes beca lifeless as they fell.
"How?" Dreamforged Guild’s Sovereign-rank leader frowned. "How could soone possess soone?"
"And Miss Sovitra here couldn’t recognize it, so they behaved the sa as usual, but were completely different people?" Duraian’s Sovereign-rank leader asked, bewildered. "Such a power is too troubleso."
"And this person wants to kill Mr. Sirius."
"Mr. Sirius, based on what that person said, were you really struck by sothing?" Ouroboros Hall’s Sovereign-rank asked, his eyes in disbelief.
So many people have tried with all sorts of might and plan, but no one could even touch Mr. Sirius’ hair.
But this person...poisoned him?
"Well, I was indeed struck." John’s eyes glinted. "The preparation was very thorough. The thing is, this poison is not life-threatening. It is there to serve another purpose."
"Could that person want to possess you, too?"
"That...that’s highly possible."
John snorted. "That won’t happen. But now that we have confird that this enemy exists, we have to be careful."
"Mr. Sirius, do you have any items that can help us tell apart the people who are possessed?"
John fell into thought.

"Alright, I can produce an item that can tell if the person is possessed." John finally looked up and nodded at others. "But I can’t produce them right now. Until I get the items, you all have to be careful."

"We will try to be careful, but it seems telling apart such people will be hard."
"Yes. They may make minor slip-ups, but the only way we can identify them would be sensing their intent, and that can be difficult and vague."

John stood up. "Alright, I shall take my leave now. Once I have the items, I’ll inform you."
After saying that, John teleported away high up in the sky while replacing the garden’s floor to normal and vanished into Monster Paradise.
