For their new Pet Monster that they could add after reaching Gold-rank, John sent them to the first habitat where he had tons of Gold-rank Monsters.

They had to challenge the monsters there and defeat them.
Max’s fighting style was doing combos with his Monsters, not giving them a chance by throwing them around and applying the physical debuff like dizziness, which usually made it hard for Monsters to use skills properly.
No wonder he erged as an exceptional Tar from his branch. His combat ability was quite annoying for the opponent, and he made use of the physical combat skills he honed with his Monsters quite proficiently.
On the other hand, Yuna honestly surprised John.
Unlike their first adventure together, this Yuna was fierce, and her combat style was more like a calculative and strategic assassin as she used her Monster’s variety of skills to make the battle area to her advantage, remaining hidden from their vision as the Monsters wouldn’t even know how they were defeated. The signature skill that allowed her this combat style was her Six-tailed Sun Fox’s Fla Walls.
After they both chose their Monsters, John also arranged for a duel between them as he wanted to see who would win.
The winner was naturally Yuna. Max couldn’t even get close to her to use his combos.
Even an amateur could tell that Yuna must have put insane effort every day, not slacking in the slightest.
Azelis and Jibril who were watching could feel that.
"She is amazing..." Jibril muttered. "I don’t even think I can win against her even if I am one rank higher if we were to fight without rules. She has complete strategies to use all her monsters’ skills perfectly for her style. She has such a high mastery of fla too, level 3 at Silver rank is crazy."
"Indeed," Azelis said with a nod. "The lass looks possessed by a demon when she fights."

Naturally, none of them were as strong as Volkia and Noctelith. Those two were in a different league altogether.
During those five days, John went to different islands with the gang to fight and train.
Since his Monsters reached King-rank like him, it was ti to let them fill up their Gene Potential two tis to trigger Gene Potential Burst.
One of the two bursts guarantees the awakening of an Innate Talent, while the other gene potential burst usually manifests so powerful skill and upgrades so skills.

The news of those 287 Tars getting dealt with by Mr. Sirius naturally spread to Brelial city and the Whelshwing continent.

In the Mirrorflower Sect’s headquarters, which was a mountain, a beautiful lady looking in her late twenties with crimson-bleeding red hair sat on a sofa chair, her legs wide open as another lady was sucking her pink world.

"Look at that tiny dick. Well, the dessert is ready. You want to eat it, right?" Minera grinned coldly.

The man knew...that he was about to die with imnse pain as despair filled his eyes.
Shortly, screams filled the courtyard, and they lasted for five minutes before the silence returned.
