Jibril also opened her eyes as Azelis spoke and controlled the Razewater aura around her.
’I did it...’
Looking at John and Azelis, she smiled widely with jubilation in her eyes. "I did it."
"That you did," John said with a laugh. "What’s your Razewater Mastery?"
"It’s level 3!" Jibril excitedly said. "I already had level 2 Water Mastery, so after learning Razewater and increasing its affinity in the dinsion, I reached level 3 Razewater Mastery."
"Congrats," Azelis said with a grin. "For , I reached level 2 in Shadow Ink. And we still have nine more trees, so we’ll make more progress when we eat more fruits."
Azelis didn’t have Shadow Mastery, though she had Darkness Mastery, which was a part of Shadow in a sense.
Still, this attribute was Shadow Ink, an advanced variant, so it was not easy. Reaching level 2 in the first enlightennt was good, not to ntion the trio had no lack of these S-rank fruits.
"That’s noice, Azelis. But I won because I reached level 3 Gravitalon Mastery." John grinned.
"Level 3 already?!" Jibril’s eyes widened in amazent.
Azelis rolled her eyes. "You already had level 1 Gravity Mastery, and you increased it by two, so it’s a tie."
"I only increased by one in that case, so I lost," Jibril said with a wry smile. But she was happy because she succeeded in making progress.
’I’ll get stronger!’ Jibril’s heart was ignited.
"Well then, let’s move to the next thing," John said as he handed over a vial to Azelis. "It’s ti for you to break through to Sovereign-rank."
Soul Milk Dew!
Azelis smiled and grabbed the vial. "Thanks. It’s ti indeed."
She had reached the peak of Emperor-rank in physical and soul stats, and one of her Emperor-rank Monsters also ranked up to Sovereign-rank two days ago with Almond’s guided evolution when they were in the wilderness, so it was ti for her to rank up.
Azelis drank a single drop from the vial.
"One more," John said. "Drink one more drop for a surefire breakthrough."
Azelis nodded. "Alright."
While Azelis began her breakthrough, John and Jibril went to the second training ground and gathered the Emperor-rank Monsters.
Aside from her, the other twelve Emperor-rank Monsters, including Squila, also began the breakthrough to Sovereign-rank as John had no lack of Sovereign-rank resources now.
Jib had already eaten the fruits, so she was now at the peak of Gold-rank both physically and soul after three days of fighting in the wilderness.
John had grown fifty Gold-rank trees of Strength, Speed, and Defense. From it, he had acquired at least 15 fruit sets of Speed, Strength, and Defense, consisting of 450 fruits.
It ans 15 newbie Gold-rank Tars could swiftly get their physical stats to peak.
John and Jibril finished a set each, so John still had 13 sets, which he planned to give out.
Originally, Tars were required to train in Monster Geno Art and use a lot of Essence Coins of their respective ranks to increase their physical stats.
This took ti, and it varied from tar to tar, depending on their daily training session and their resources.
But these fruits could instantly make new Gold-rank Tars reach the peak of Gold-rank, giving them more ti to train their Soul Techniques and Geno Abilities.
John condensed the fruit and turned the remaining 390 fruits into 39 fruits, forming 13 sets consisting of three fruits each for Strength, Speed, and Defense.
Afterward, he sacrificed so random Sovereign-rank fruits to get Xhal Drops, and since it was the weekend today, John also got one million Xhal Drops from Xhalthuun’s refining of that demonic arm.
There were a lot of Sovereign-rank Tars outside, and the chain of command had shifted.
Even though his identity was rather big, John expected to get his importance reduced in the face of a large number of Sovereign-rank Tars.
After all, with them increasing in number, he should not be able to afford to antagonize them, and they might even propose so deals, because, ultimately, Mr. Sirius would have to leave this world and go to the next one if he antagonized them. What could he do alone, after all?—John expected people, especially the new Sovereign-rank Tars, to think like that, so he made preparations in response to that thinking.
Because he was not going to let anyone get one up on Mr. Sirius.
Mr. Sirius must keep his image of being absolutely confident and capable of facing any situation or trouble, and remaining fearless because of his capability.
So, after doing a shopping spree for preparation, and using Molding Essence to make so changes as well as growing stat-trees of Sovereign-rank for Azelis and other Monsters, it was ti.
...
Duraian Family Estate. It was the night of the third day since the appearance of demons, with the clock hitting 9:30 sharp.
"It’s been three days, and Mr. Sirius is nowhere to be seen."
All the Sovereign-rank Tars of the Duraian family had gathered here on the terrace, alongside so Emperor-rank Tars.
There were also roughly fifty other Emperor-rank Tars who sat below on the ground at different tables.
On the other hand, out of those seventeen Sovereign-rank Tars, only six of them were at the peak of Sovereign-rank. The others were either mid-stage, near peak, or low to mid-stage.
"Your Mr. Sirius, have so good items indeed, but I don’t think you have made it worth giving that Growth-type treasure as a gift yet."
"Don’t tell he is gone? After all, it’s been three days."
"If he is gone, then we may have suffered a loss."
"It’d be a sha not to et him even once."
Arion didn’t want to hear anymore and interjected.
"The two artifacts he sold us this ti are strong, and we have gotten them cheap compared to their worth. One is attack-type and another is defense-type. Not to ntion that evolution card he sold us," Arion respectfully said. "I think it’s worth it."
"True," Toanas Duraian, the family leader and Arion’s father, said with a nod as he backed up. "Four seniors. If I may be blunt, the evolution card evolved my Sovereign-rank pet Monsters to a form that’s vastly superior to others, as you have seen already. I am certain it has acquired Mythical-rank potential, which is also the maximum rank of that growth-type treasure we gifted him."
"I suppose you are right in that sense. Having a Mythical-rank potential Monster early is a fortune."
"I still rember my Monster failing the evolution and ranking up when breaking through to Sovereign rank. In the end, I could only capture a new Sovereign-rank Monster, and now I have to spend ti with it and all to be able to use Soul Synergy at full power."
While these Sovereign-rank Tars were talking and the clock hit 9:35, all of them suddenly looked up simultaneously.
The new Sovereign-rank Tars raised their eyebrows while those who knew smiled.
"Mr. Sirius is here."
"So that’s his island? Interesting."
"Let’s go."
The other roughly fifty Emperor-rank Tars who sat at other tables on the ground below wanted to co as well, but the Sovereign-rank seniors promptly inford them to stay down, disappointing them.
’So they all gathered here, eh?’ John thought as he looked at them via his spatial-mode soul eye from above.
[Jibril: It looks like the work on that building is over, and only the staff is working there now.]
’They were just preparing and forming an alliance. But now all of them will want entertainnt and kill ti alongside whatever training they do daily because the calamity is not here yet.’
[Jibril: Well, let’s have so fun then, I suppose.]
’You bet.’
As the group of twenty-three people arrived and saw Mr. Sirius leisurely sitting on a boulder in the training ground, the people were surprised.
John opened his eyes and gestured with his hand while creating twenty-three boulders.
"Please sit."
The boulders were placed in front of him, as there was no boulder beside him or behind him.
The four peak Sovereign-rank Tars, two males and two females, all looking in their thirties and forties, sat on the boulders at the forefront alongside Toanas, Arion, and one more Sovereign-rank Tar who was a middle-aged man, as there were seven boulders on the first row.
Instantly, their eyebrows rose. It was comfortable.
"Rather comfortable, right?" Mr. Sirius smiled and said. "I just bought them recently from a friend when he was passing by. These boulders have strange vibrations and live surfaces that provide extre comfort, and doing ditation on it also seems to provide better results."
Of course, the first and last part was bullshit since he made these boulders using Molding Essence, but it was true he made them very comfortable to sit on with the surface adjusting to the individual’s legs.
As Tars nodded in response upon feeling the comfort they had never felt while sitting cross-legged, a bunch of auras were arriving.
’Co on, let’s get the party started.’ John thought as he saw people from other forces coming, and waved his hand as he created boulders all over the training ground.
"The boulders are indeed comfortable." A red-haired female in her thirties, supposedly the current leader of Duraians, smiled and said to Mr. Sirius. "Pleasure to et you, Mr. Sirius. We almost thought you left, as you must not want to take part in these calamitous tis."
"Of course not. I would very much like to prevent this calamity," Mr. Sirius said with a laid-back smile.
As he finished speaking, the people of other forces also landed, but unlike the Duraians, the other forces sent ten Sovereign-rank and a couple Emperor-rank each, as they communicated beforehand.
"Please sit," John said as he gestured to them while smiling.
