1257: Chapter 1250: Seeing Hope 1257: Chapter 1250: Seeing Hope “Hmm, now that you put it that way, it does make sense.” After hearing Luo’er’s words, Zisu felt as if a veil had been lifted from her mind, and she spoke as if she had an epiphany.

“So, in Kyushu, being unable to form an Inner Core definitely won’t an that they are inferior for life.

Obviously, they can beco Civil Officials and stand out with their wisdom.

Although I don’t know the current state of the Dongsheng Empire, I suspect that the thoughts within the civil officials might be similar to mine.” Luo’er squinted his eyes and analyzed.

“Wow, that’s impressive.

How do you analyze things in such detail?” Zisu looked at Luo’er enviously and asked.

“You just need to see the essence through the appearances and distinguish the primary contradictions from the secondary ones,” Luo’er said matter-of-factly.

“Huh?” Zisu tilted her head, her ears fluttering rapidly, and Luo’er could even see a question mark rising above her head, clearly not understanding.

“Looking at it this way, I think I understand that guy’s approach now,” Luo’er murmured as he lowered his eyelids.

“Which guy?” Zisu asked, trying to open her eyes wide.

“Oh, it’s nothing, just analyzing so issues,” Luo’er replied nonchalantly, lifting his head.

“Speaking of which, does your world have such inequality as well?” Zisu asked curiously.

“Do you an our world or the West Continent?” Luo’er asked.

“Of course, I’m talking about your world.

Is it a secret?” Zisu asked.

“There’s no such thing,” Luo’er coughed slightly before he spoke, “In our world, there is no absolute power; power mainly increases with the acquisition of knowledge.

So, if soone wants power, they must first acquire knowledge.

It should be fairer compared to this world, I guess.”

“That’s wonderful,” Zisu said sincerely.

“Every world has its features.

I only ntioned the advantages of our world, but I haven’t spoken of its disadvantages yet,” Luo’er consoled.

“To , as long as a person’s fate isn’t determined at birth, that’s the best advantage,” Zisu said.

“You…” Luo’er stared at her, then withdrew his gaze and asked tentatively, “Do you really desire power that much?”

“Of course, why can the Human Race use this world’s power, but we can’t?” Zisu said, dissatisfied.

“But you also inadvertently developed firearms, which will be the main weapon of the next generation’s warfare,” Luo’er said.

“If we could master the power of this world, we wouldn’t have to rack our brains over firearms anymore,” Zisu said with a sigh.

“Actually…” Luo’er hesitated.

“Actually what?” Zisu noticed that Luo’er seed to have sothing to say.

“Well, in the West Continent, although it’s unfair, one doesn’t necessarily need to form an Inner Core to beco soone great.

As long as one has the physical qualifications, one can master the power of this world.” After a mont of hesitation, Luo’er decided to speak.

“I don’t understand,” Zisu admitted candidly, looking at him.

“As you see, most of us fundantally can’t form an Inner Core, but that doesn’t an we can’t master the power of this world.

Because forming an Inner Core is just one form; there is actually another way to utilize the power of this world.” Luo’er explained.

“Like what?” Zisu’s eyes sparkled, and her ears kept twitching, clearly very interested in what Luo’er was saying.

“From our understanding, forming an Inner Core is actually about creating a container within the body to store Qi.

In fact, the Qi of the world can be used directly without the need for absorption.” Luo’er explained.

“And then?” Zisu asked eagerly.

“We usually refer to the thod of forming an Inner Core as either Inner Core Skill or Dantian thod.

The most commonly used thod on the West Continent is the Circulation thod.

There are slight differences between the two, but the overall rules remain the sa; both are ways to utilize Qi, or what we call Magic.” Luo’er said.

“What’s the difference between these two thods?” Zisu continued to inquire.

“Specifically,” Luo’er said patiently, “the Inner Core Skill involves storing Qi and then releasing it during battle.

There are generally a few steps: absorption, circulation, storage, release.

The Circulation thod, on the other hand, typically involves these steps: absorption, circulation, release.

You should notice that it skips the storage step.”

“So?” Zisu nodded and asked.

“This doesn’t an one is superior to the other, just that they utilize different thods,” Luo’er explained, “The combat style of the Inner Core Skill mainly releases the Magic from within the Dantian, and the strength of the attack depends on the capacity of the Dantian.

The Circulation thod, however, mainly uses the Magic absorbed from the surroundings, and the strength of the attack depends on the concentration of Magic in the atmosphere and the individual’s physical endurance.”

“I only understood half of that,” Zisu said, sowhat innocently.

“All you need to rember is that it’s not only The Human Race who can use the power of this world.

Provided your body’s aptitude allows it, you too can harness this power.” Luo’er said.

“Really?” Upon hearing this, Zisu imdiately widened her eyes, tightly gripping Luo’er’s hand, and asked with a trembling voice.

“Don’t, don’t be so excited.” Luo’er instinctively stepped back and tried to pull his hand free.

“Of course I’m excited,” Zisu said, her body also starting to tremble, her eyes fixed intently on Luo’er, “Because of our inability to use these powers, do you know how stifled we in the Demon Clan have been living?

We even ca to doubt that we were inferior to The Human Race, which is why we have been subjected to slaughters.

No matter how hard we try, it’s very difficult for us to defeat the generals of the Dongsheng Empire.”

“You’ve already done very well,” Luo’er comforted her, “Despite the disparity in strength between the enemy and us, you have persisted in surviving, even developing firearms to further narrow the gap with Dongsheng’s troops.

This in itself is a comndable spirit.”

“Anyway, I finally heard so hope from you.

With this, the Demon Clan might be saved…

perhaps…” Zisu said, her expression turning somber.

“We can teach you all so of the basics of Magic, which we call Magic on our side.

However, I must clarify that learning Magic also requires aptitude, and there will still need to be so elimination.” Luo’er said.

“That’s alright; at least so of us can still learn, right?” Zisu shook her head, speaking with excitent.

“Alright, later I’ll have my companions teach you so of the theoretical knowledge of Magic, but at this stage, it probably can’t be used on the battlefield right away.

I guess you’ll still need to rely on your firearms for combat.” Luo’er said.

“None of that matters as long as there is hope,” Zisu said, gripping Luo’er’s hand tightly, her eyes brimming with tears, “Luo’er, I, I don’t know how to thank you enough.

Ever since you all ca, the world seems to have brightened again, not as lifeless as before.

We’ve been engaged in desperate resistance, and now, at last, we see a glimr of hope.”

As she spoke, Zisu bowed her head and began to sob.

Her tears ran down her cheeks, dropping onto the back of Luo’er’s hand.

“S-sorry, let wipe that off for you…” Zisu suddenly beca flustered upon noticing this.

“It’s okay, I’m glad to see you venting a bit.

You’ve all done very well, and now let’s work together to make things even better.” Luo’er said softly.

“Luo’er, I’m truly grateful to you all, for coming to help us in our ti of greatest peril.

You, you are truly our saviors,” Zisu said with emotion.

“Don’t say that,” Luo’er said, feeling sowhat embarrassed, “We’re not saviors, just that we have been through these things ourselves, so we understand the pain they bring.

Now that we’re here, we absolutely won’t stand by and do nothing.

No matter what reasons the Dongsheng Empire has, those are not justifications for invading West Outer Heaven.

We will resolutely counter-attack against the invaders and firmly stand with those who are invaded.”

The conversation between the two continued until late into the night, and then they reluctantly parted.

Zisu had gained new hope from Luo’er, while Luo’er had gained a rough understanding of the political and social situation in the East Continent from Zisu, which would serve as a reference for his subsequent arrangents.
