It looked like the overlord was operating in many worlds since the number of humans was small compared to the other creatures. There were these muscular species that were humanoids, but also looked like giant black falcons since they black feathers covering their bodies.

There was another one that has a slimy body that was also transparent. It looked like a mix between a human and a sli. There was also another weird muscular creature. It only had one eye and its body had gray and black parts, both of them looked extrely tough.

"They look stronger than humans, but even then didn’t have a chance to escape from this overlord..." Gustavo said while showing a complicated expression. "Now I fully understand why you think that no human should have this power. Still, we can’t live for that long, so I will never beco a threat like this one."

"You can’t even say if tomorrow it will rain or not, how can you declare that so easily?" Terry asked.

Gustavo couldn’t say anything after that. In any case, they had to move on since it was getting late and they couldn’t give any more ti for the overlord to prepare any further.

As the group stepped through the portal, they were t with a sight that left them utterly speechless. They found themselves not in the open sky, but within the belly of a massive flying fortress. Their surroundings were dimly lit, the tallic walls of the fortress surrounding them on all sides. But what truly stunned them was the presence of the grotesque humanoid robots, powered by the trapped and manipulated human bodies within.

No ti for contemplation was given, as the group found themselves imdiately under attack. A barrage of powerful mana cannons erupted from the robotic forms, their energy-laden projectiles streaking towards the group. Gustavo acted swiftly, raising an invisible barrier that intercepted and deflected the onslaught. However, his efforts were short-lived as Terry’s decisive attack shattered the ground beneath them, causing the robots to montarily falter.

Seizing the opportunity, a torrent of lightning bolts descended upon the surrounding robots, their destructive energy cascading through the chanical bodies. The once-active beings now stood paralyzed, their systems temporarily compromised by the lightning’s assault.

Amidst the chaos, Vanessa’s head throbbed with the strain of wielding such imnse amounts of mana. Though the pain was nearly overwhelming, she pressed on, knowing that their only chance lay in defeating the enemy before them.

Fernanda, too, harnessed her unique abilities, unleashing them to strike at the humans trapped within the robots. Her attacks targeted the source of the control, weakening the enemy’s grip on their victims.

Terry, a tempest of motion, soared through the air with acrobatic precision. His strikes were a blur, a testant to his strength and skill. With each powerful kick, robotic bodies were cleaved asunder, their chanical forms split into pieces.

The group waited for more robots to co, but that didn’t happen. Still, they regrouped in silence and they waited for the enemy next attack... Terry knew that he couldn’t destroy that fortress at the very mont he landed on it. The others were made of a gray and white tal, but that one was completely back... it made Terry recall his black steel sword.

"It mined that world for this, huh?" Terry thought. "No matter... all of this will be mine soon enough."

All of a sudden, the walls of the fortress expanded upward and then they eventually created a ceiling above... the overlord didn’t want to let them escape, but that was more convenient for the group as well.

"I understand now. Your power works by enhancing the weapons you use with mana. It seems that your blood makes the weapons attract the mana from the environnt at a slower pace, but all of the mana of the enemies you kill."

Terry found himself surprised by the revelations about his trait, details that had eluded him until now. He hadn’t been aware of the depth of its capabilities, and the knowledge ca as a shock. The others shared his astonishnt, as they hadn’t expected Terry’s trait to have such intricate and nuanced functions. It beca evident that his trait was predominantly geared towards providing support, albeit with distinct limitations that seed to counterbalance its potential.

As the reality of his trait’s nature settled in, Terry’s initial surprise transford into a simring irritation. The enemy’s eagerness to divulge such critical information was a double-edged sword. While it did provide him with valuable insights into his abilities, it also ant the enemy held a comprehensive understanding of his trait’s workings. Terry’s frustration grew, as he recognized that his advantage had been handed to the enemy on a platter.

Nonetheless, the urgency of their situation took precedence. With the robotic threat temporarily subdued, the group’s focus remained fixed on the battle at hand. The knowledge about Terry’s trait, as surprising as it was, had to be set aside for the ti being, as their imdiate priority was to neutralize the enemy’s forces and ensure the safety of their world.

"Well, what are you going to do now?" Terry asked while stepping forward. "I am sure that you can think of nurous ways to fight since you are who knows how long old piece of junk."

"No, the plan remains the sa. I will just defeat you and use you for a while to experint with your body and power. I estimate that it will greatly enhance my capabilities to face the other threats."

"You are the fucking threat here, asshole," Terry said while bitting his lips in annoyance.

The surroundings of the group were covered in darkness, but Rebecca created a Fireball to illuminate the area when they heard the sound of sothing big opening... It was probably another giant door, and more robots would co. However, they didn’t hear anything after that. It seed that the enemy was about to do sothing big... and the group could only wait.
