"If it weren’t for the King’s summoning, how would the Six Gods dare to gather and sche such delusional affairs?
The once King of All Gods summoned the Six Gods, creating the Primordial Church, all to one day revive the ashen old order."
At this point, Selena closed her mouth.
Mira looked shocked, these words bringing her great impact.
Prophet Shan’en... was he the once King of All Gods?
Did those Divine really intend to overthrow the Law and rebuild the old order?
After a mont, she slowly recovered and asked,
"...Are these all... your speculations?"
Selena shook her head and pointed to Anos lying on the ground.
"Not , her."
Mira quickly turned around and hurriedly asked,
"What exactly happened to Anos? How did she faint here?"
Selena replied without hiding anything,
"I don’t know, she didn’t look good all along, appearing very pale. By the ti she got here, she finally couldn’t hold on, fell down, covering her mouth as she moaned and trembling with pain. I tried everything, but couldn’t alleviate her pain, and finally... she passed out."
After hearing this, Mira’s face filled with concern.
"How could this happen... Clearly, clearly just two days ago she was in pain... It shouldn’t flare up so quickly..."
...
Mira quietly stayed by Anos’s side.
Vina Kana watched from a distance, and after a mont, she lowered her head as if pondering sothing.
Selena, sowhat bored, walked around a pillar, circling again and again.
After a mont, she stopped and walked to Vina Kana’s side.
"Speaking of which... since we co from different tis, might we encounter other versions of ourselves here?"
Selena’s question was filled with deep curiosity.
Vina Kana whispered softly,
"No, Selena.
Ti is just a perception, not an existence."
Selena, puzzled, asked back,
"What do you an? Haven’t we encountered people from the past here?"
Vina Kana didn’t look at Selena; her gaze stayed on Mira,
"Selena, they are actually projections, and in their eyes, we are also just a projection.
We didn’t actually et them, but established a connection across ti and space through the Bone Church.
Think of it like you have a magic mirror, through which you can et with friends thousands of miles away."
Vina Kana’s understanding of the Bone Church went beyond Selena’s imagination.
To be honest, the far-reaching knowledge of this living saint always astonished the black-haired girl, whether it was any secret, profound issue, Vina Kana could answer them all, everything she knew seed as if it were bestowed by God.
Selena exhaled and whispered softly:
"I was thinking... if different tis have different masters."
Vina Kana whispered back:
"Selena, there is only one ti-space, and there is only one God."
The black-haired girl nodded sowhat half-understood.
Vina Kana ant... whether future, past or present, the God is the absolutely sa God?
Selena felt that must be the aning.
Then, she noticed what Vina Kana was looking at, and following Vina Kana’s gaze, she saw that Vina Kana had been watching Mira.
"Why are you always looking at her? What’s about her?"
Selena asked in a lowered voice.
Vina Kana slightly shifted her gaze and said softly,
"Her na is Mira."
"So, so what? There are many people called Mira."
"She is probably the most special one."
Vina Kana paused, then said softly,
"I’ve seen a similarly special Mira in the Ancient Scroll of Destiny."
Hearing this, Selena, who hadn’t been paying much attention to Mira, opened her mouth agape, looking utterly surprised.
After a while, Selena thought of another question and asked,
"So... what achievents did she make? What does she have to do with the Ancient Scroll of Destiny?"
Before Selena could finish, Vina Kana interrupted,
"Enough, Selena."
Selena imdiately closed her mouth, as she had always been afraid of the stern saint before her.
Mira crouched beside Anos, anxiously waiting for the princess to awaken.
The girl had checked Anos’s body several tis, and under the influence of the Ancient Language, she shockingly discovered that Anos’s golden heart had beco even more brilliant than before, resembling a body of pure gold. In this world, not even the most skilled Dwarf Craftsn could forge gold of such purity.
Compared to the purity of the gold, the small portion of flesh heart had beco increasingly dull.
The chunk of flesh, like sludge, was sticking onto the pure gold, with its pulsing blood vessels growing weaker, as if they could stop at any mont. It was estimated that within a few years, the entire Golden Heart would engulf all the flesh.
Facing the Golden Heart in the princess’s chest, Mira felt helpless for the first ti.
"Perhaps... this is how a mortal feels in the face of death..."
Mira thought dismally to herself.
After an unknown period, Anos, lying on the ground, slightly trembled her fingers.
Mira sharply noticed it and imdiately straightened up, staring intently at Anos’s face.
After a while, those tightly closed eyes slowly opened.
"What... what happened to ..."
Anos pressed her forehead, murmuring unclearly.
Suddenly, a dark shadow rushed toward her.
Followed by an excited cheer,
"Anos!"
The princess was stunned, her neck suddenly embraced, a warm body pressing against her soft chest as the girl beside her rubbed her face against hers.
When Anos regained her senses, her cheeks were slightly warm; she tried to push the girl away, but the latter would not let go, so the princess took a deep breath, smiled, and enjoyed Mira’s embrace.
After a long ti, Mira finally let her go. Anos thought she could catch her breath, but Mira pulled her close again, pressing them together.
After several back and forths, Mira finally released the princess.
Anos slowly stood up from the ground, spotted Selena and Vina Kana, nodded toward the latter, and asked,
"Are you... Vina Kana? May God bless you."
The princess said formally.
Vina Kana rely nodded slightly,
"I know you are Anos."
After saying that, Vina Kana slowly approached, walking toward the Divine Statue standing in the inner sanctuary.
Anos watched her, wondering what was on her mind.
Vina Kana reached the statue, drew out the longsword nad Sofia, and slashed it across the statue’s right hand.
The longsword, capable of slicing through iron like mud, carved a smooth scratch on the sturdy stone statue; the stone robe broke open, revealing a Sheepskin Scroll within.
Vina Kana picked up the Sheepskin Scroll and tucked it into her pouch.
Selena hurriedly approached; their mission was now accomplished.
"What is that?"
Anos couldn’t help but ask.
"The Ancient Scroll of Destiny, which God had not yet created in your ti."
Vina Kana said briefly.
"The Ancient Scroll of Destiny?"
Anos searched her mory quickly and soon recalled the ancient prophecy made by Kagawus.
Mira watched as Vina Kana took the Ancient Scroll of Destiny and stepped forward, asking,
"Can you tell what is written on it?"
Facing the girl’s request, Vina Kana simply shook her head.
Mira, seeing Vina Kana’s action, lowered her head in disappointnt, unwillingly saying,
"Really? I wish... I wish to know what will happen in my future..."
Vina Kana looked at Mira, then at Anos beside the girl, and finally back to Mira,
"Mira, I do not intend to change the past.
But I can tell you the first sentence on it."
Mira imdiately nodded her head.
Vina Kana took out the Sheepskin Scroll again, and recited the first sentence to her,
"Clouds fall as mist, fire rises as smoke."
