Arthur’s spatial storage responded to ntal commands, producing three epic-rank items from his dinsional inventory. Two weapons and one accessory materialized on the counter with soft thuds.

The epic-rank items he took out were dropped by level 20 monsters he had killed.

The first weapon was a powerful sword, its blade looked incredibly sharp, especially when caught in overhead lighting.

Epic-rank power and durability were evident in every flowing line.

The second item, a spear with so runic inscriptions, radiated cold that made nearby moisture condense into frost crystals.

Ice-elent. Useful for specific builds.

Finally, the mana earring—a deceptively simple piece that increased the mana of its user by a large amount.

The earring’s design was subtle. But it was valuable and highly sought after by all kinds of fighters. Whether it was mages or warriors.

Lucia’s eyes studied each item with fascination. Her eyes lingered on the intricate craftsmanship, the magical resonance patterns, and the quality of materials that Arthur had provided in exchange for the herb.

She was an expert at evaluating such rare pieces; she knew the value of the items in front of her.

After several minutes of careful examination, she selected the mana earring with obvious satisfaction.

"This piece appeals most to our clientele. Everyone focuses on mana enhancent, and despite its size, accessories often have premium prices."

The earring’s increase in mana made it worth more than both weapons separately.

The deal was accepted. And, Arthur’s mission in the dicine Hall was accomplished.

They completed the exchange with efficiency. The Sky Vigor Root disappeared into Arthur’s spatial storage while the earring joined Thornwyck’s premium inventory.

Whilst they were mainly focused on herbs and healing products. The Thornwycks did not shy away from weapons.

So far, I’ve only acquired one herb. I need more.

"Please inform if any herbs with similar properties beco available," Arthur requested. "I’d be happy to return for additional transactions."

Lucia’s smile carried genuine business interest. "Of course, Guild Master. Premium clients receive priority notification for new acquisitions."

Future opportunities secured.

Arthur turned toward the exit, his mission partially accomplished.

The Thornwyck dicine Hall had provided one part of the solution.

He still needed to find more.

....

As Arthur left the dicine hall, his mind couldn’t help but think about the red pills that he had found with Roy the day they fought.

The bartender had used the demonic pills to improve his strength to protect himself from Arthur. But by doing so, he turned into a demon eventually.

It was a substantial transformation. Roy had gained imnse power at the cost of corruption and loss of his mind.

After killing Roy and summoning him, Arthur had instructed him to monitor for the sa mysterious person who handed him the pills. Roy had reported nothing—no updates on the mysterious figure who had vanished completely.

Unfortunately, that was the only lead he had, but it had gone cold. Arthur had also asked George, his first human summon with the thief talent, to look for information in various places of Cladera, yet even then, that person did not appear.

Arthur hadn’t known whether the masked man was hiding or had left Caldera altogether, but that changed with the trial of Regulus.

The mory resurged with new urgency after witnessing Regulus’s inheritance. Inside the vision, when he’d watched alongside Jasmine, that scene had burned itself into his consciousness.

It was the sa red pill that Nikolas Phantom had fed to young Jasmine alongside another pill.

The second pill—Arthur was convinced it had been designed to alter her mory, removing Nikolas from her recollections entirely.

mory manipulation.

Not only was Jasmine in danger of becoming a demon, but Arthur realised that Nikolas Phantom was still operating in Caldera in the past few months.

Suddenly, a thought struck Arthur like ice water.

What if Jasmine is still compromised?

The sudden rembrance of the ticking bomb that Jasmine might represent made Arthur’s enhanced heart clench with supernatural force.

He had entrusted Charlotte to Jasmine. Whilst he knew Jasmine wouldn’t do anything to harm his sister, that trust didn’t amount to anything when Jasmine could be compromised and lose all her senses.

Arthur was overco by Paranoia. Justifiable paranoia.

His mind painted worst-case scenarios with vivid clarity. What if Jasmine’s demonic pill activated while she remained alone with Charlotte? What if the transformation triggered during treatnt?

I would lose everything.

Without wasting a second, Arthur reached into his pocket, touching Aether.

Aether, teleport us to Charlotte’s room. Now!

Sensing the urgency behind Arthur’s voice, Aether did not waste a single second. Imdiately transporting both of them.

Reality folded around them as spatial manipulation activated instantly. The familiar sensation of dinsional travel carried them back to Village #419’s Mayor’s building.

WHOOSH!

Arthur materialized in the mayor’s quarters where Charlotte lay in peaceful suspension. Jasmine rose from her chair beside the bed, surprise evident in her golden-silver eyes.

Jasmine had remained in the room to conduct additional examinations and to track Charlotte’s health.

Arthur’s sudden appearance had surprised her.

"Arthur? Why did you return so quickly? Did you find a herb?" Jasmine raised an eyebrow with curiosity.

Jasmine had given Arthur the perfect excuse to use as a cover story for his sudden ergence. He didn’t want to tell her that he felt she was unsafe to be left next to his sister unattended, it was rude, and it would open the wounds that hadn’t healed yet.

Arthur’s spatial storage responded to ntal commands, producing the ornate box containing the Sky Vigour Root. The epic-rank herb’s container glead with protective enchantnts.

"I’ve secured one herb. It’s epic-grade quality."

Jasmine’s expression brightened with satisfaction. "Good! This will help significantly. It does the job, though we still need more for better chances."

"Just in case things go wrong, we don’t want to waste such a valuable resource. It’s better to administer the largest possible dose within the sa ti fra—this increases the chances of success, and the herbs won’t go to waste. Furthermore, we aren’t wasting them by using a large amount; we are strengthening her body anyway," She continued.
