Leon looked around the empty area to see if he had missed anything obvious, and even spent an entire hour checking every corner of the surrounding landscape, but indeed, there was absolutely nothing there that resembled a tower.
But still, the [World Map] continued to show the icon of the [Ti Tower] with its title displayed right there on the exact spot where he was standing.
Leon knew for sure that the map wasn’t wrong about this, because if Dominik had lied to him and given him a random location, it likely wouldn’t have registered on the map at all.
aning that there must be a way to access the tower in a secret manner that wasn’t imdiately obvious to soone just looking at the location.
’I an, yeah, I guess otherwise way too many people would be able to find it,’ Leon thought to himself, ’Its a secret realm after all, so it makes sense that its hidden sohow.’
But still, unlike many of the other secret realms which were hidden in specific caves or behind invisible walls, this one was literally out in the open field, yet almost no one had ever found it before.
Realizing that, Leon suddenly had an idea pop into his head that seed worth trying.
’How about... this,’ he thought as he reached into his storage space.
He pulled out the singular [Secret Realm Token] he had been saving for this exact mont and, without any hesitation, placed it at the exact spot on the ground where his [World Map] showed the ti tower’s icon.
Then he backed away a few steps to see what would happen.
And as soon as he did that, the world around him began to change.
THUMP!
There was a sudden and powerful pulse in the air around Leon, making the entire area shake violently beneath his feet like an earthquake was happening.
Ding!
[Do you wish to use your "Secret Realm Token" to open the way to the "Ti Tower"?]
"Bingo," Leon grinned widely, knowing his guess had been correct.
If the [Ti Tower] wasn’t visible to the naked eye, it simply ant that one needed to place the secret realm token at the exact spot to open the entrance.
Imdiately, Leon agreed to the prompt, and as soon as he did, sothing incredible happened.
BOOM!
A second pulse erupted from the spot where the token had been placed, and suddenly the world around Leon beca grey and dull, as if all the color had been drained out of existence.
Everything stopped moving around him, including the clouds that had been drifting across the sky, the birds that had been flying, and even the wind that had been blowing against his face.
[Ti has stopped, proceed.]
BOOM!
The secret realm token on the ground disintegrated into dust, and above it, a massive crack appeared in the air, as if the very fabric of reality was being torn apart by an invisible force.
And as the crack opened up wider, Leon could see inside... the [Ti Tower] was there, standing tall in the middle of a strange dinsion that seed to exist outside of normal space and ti.
Leon looked at it for a few seconds, wondering what awaited him inside... or perhaps it was more than a few seconds, because ti didn’t really move any longer in this frozen mont.
He even wondered if ti had completely stopped for everybody else in the outside world across every single domain.
Was he the only person across the entirety of [Eternal Ascension] who was able to move right now? That would be absolutely terrifying if true.
But if that was the case, it also ant that the [Ti Power] contained within this tower was much more powerful than he had originally expected.
Regardless of those thoughts, Leon took a deep breath to steady his nerves and stepped forward toward the crack in reality, jumping inside of it without looking back.
As soon as he did, the colors returned to the world outside behind him, and the crack in reality closed completely, leaving no trace that it had ever been there.
Ding!
[You have entered the "Dinsion of Ti"]
"Damn," Leon said as he looked around at where he had landed.
Leon was standing on a decently-sized floating island in the middle of an endless void, and the [Ti Tower] was still standing right in front of him in all its grandeur, looking even more impressive up close.
It was massive in size, with gold and white marble covering every inch of its surface, and a massive glowing clock face represented in the middle of its tallest spire.
The entrance was right there too, wide open and leading into complete darkness, and Leon stepped forward toward it with determination in his heart.
But once he got to around thirty ters away from the entrance, sothing unexpected happened.
Thump!
There was another pulse of powerful aura in the air around him, and Leon began to slow down dramatically with every step he took.
And it wasn’t him that chose to do it, Leon was literally slowing down against his will, his legs moving to around five tis as slow as they were before, making him look like he was moving through thick molasses.
"...What?" Leon said, his voice coming out distorted and stretched.
Everything about Leon’s body slowed down except his mind, which remained at normal speed, and even when he tried to move his arm up to defend himself, it was just as slow as the rest of him.
And right before Leon’s eyes, a figure appeared out of nowhere, materializing from the air itself.
"Another intruder in my domain," the figure spoke as it looked down at the slowed down Leon, "I believe you are here for sothing important, are you not?"
Leon opened his mouth to speak, forcing the words out as best he could, "Y...e...a...h..."
It took him around fifteen seconds just to say that one simple word.
Appraisal!
Leon used his skill imdiately to try and understand what he was dealing with.
Beep!
[The being before you is above level 100, you do not have the authority to do that.]
Leon’s eyes widened in shock, ’Level 100 in a [Higher Domain]? I thought that was impossible, that shouldn’t be possible at all!’
"You may call the Ti Overseer," the figure standing before Leon spoke with a calm and asured voice, "I control this entire dinsion and everything within it."
The man swung the golden scepter in his hands casually, and suddenly Leon’s speed returned to normal, allowing him to move freely again without any restrictions.
And more importantly for Leon, it allowed him to properly check the "Ti Overseer" with his own eyes now that he wasn’t slowed down.
He was around 2 ters tall, clad in a flowing white and golden robe that seed to shimr with its own light, and wore a strange mask with a clock face painted on it over his actual face.
He also wore a weird pointed pendant hat on his head and a golden heart shaped necklace around his neck, and he held the golden scepter firmly in his hands.
"Well, tell what you wish for, human," the ti overseer spoke, the two spots where his eyes should be in his clock mask glowing with a bright golden aura as he stared at Leon.
Hearing that, Leon opened his [Storage Space] imdiately and pulled out the [Primordial Dragon of Chaos] egg, holding it up for the overseer to see.
"I wanna hatch this thing more than anything else right now," Leon said, his voice firm despite the intimidating presence before him.
"Oh?" the ti overseer picked up the egg carefully as it was pulsing with raw power, his eyes narrowing a little as he examined the hatching ti displayed on its surface, "That is the pet with the longest hatching ti I have ever seen in all my existence, it must truly be powerful beyond normal asure."
"I really hope it is, otherwise this whole trip would be a waste," Leon replied honestly.
"Alright, then, human," the ti overseer nodded as he gave the egg back to Leon, "I shall use my power to speed up the hatching ti of the egg significantly... as long as you complete the challenge that awaits you inside the tower first, that is."
"...Alright, that sounds fair enough," Leon said, knowing he didn’t really have a choice.
"Well, then, enter the [Ti Tower] whenever you are ready, and let us see how strong you truly are compared to the others who have co before you."
Fwoosh!
Just like that, the figure disappeared into thin air, leaving Leon alone standing in the [Dinsion of Ti] with only his thoughts and the massive tower in front of him.
He had an extrely bad feeling about this challenge based on how ominous the overseer had sounded, but looking at the egg in his hands, he knew he needed to do this no matter what.
And so he stepped forward toward the entrance of the [Ti Tower], ready to face whatever was waiting for him inside.
