"Duang!"

With a loud explosion, Su Ran stumbled back a few steps, his expression turning sowhat off.

He never expected that this block of ice would be so hard, not only did it fail to absorb, but it almost jarred his prostate.

However, his luck was better than the demon Badongng, who was not frozen, giving him another chance to act.

Su Ran wouldn’t hesitate anymore. Seizing the mont before any danger arrived, he took out his novice pickaxe and started digging towards the ice block.

He just couldn’t believe it. If he could dig out a Great White Shark, then surely he could dig out this skeleton. He was confident that he could excavate the skeleton with his efforts!

"Clang! Clang clang!"

The sound of tal striking echoed, and the powerful force of recoil almost made Su Ran lose grip on his pickaxe, proving just how hard the ice block was.

"What’s going on, can’t dig?"

Su Ran was astonished to find that no matter how he dug, he couldn’t damage the ice block even slightly, forcing him to admit that his approach was wrong.

"Human, stop doing pointless work, first see if there’s anything in this pit that can be used,"

The demon Badongng broke free from the ice seal, feeling a dread for this ice block, not daring to touch it again, shifted his gaze to the mud below, voicing his suspicion, "So much mud has sunken in, and it can’t even fill this pit, there’s definitely sothing up below!"

"Makes sense."

Su Ran temporarily gave up on the ice chunk and descended downward, thinking that finding the direction of the mud would solve the mystery.

But before he could explore further, an incident happened.

All the mud in the pit disappeared, not a drop left, replaced by a lidless stone coffin, with a mud ball swirling non-stop inside.

"What the... it can do that?"

Su Ran curiously eyed the coffin, clicking his tongue in wonder. To suck all the mud in and condense it into a mud ball, this was definitely a peculiar coffin!

As for the missing lid, Su Ran imdiately thought of that stone slab; it seed just the right size.

"Human, what is this?"

Badongng didn’t associate this artifact with a coffin at all, his eyes filled with curiosity and a hint of dread, not daring to approach easily.

"If my guess is right, this should be a vessel for the ice block."

Su Ran didn’t ntion the word coffin directly, fearing it might upset the demon if the identity was uncertain. He leaned closer to examine the exterior of the stone coffin, finding it to be a crude piece carved from a plain rock without even basic patterns.

"Then let’s put the ice block in!"

Badongng couldn’t help hastening, had he not been wary of being frozen, he would’ve done it himself.

However.

Just as his words fell, before Su Ran could react, the stone coffin emitted a terrifying suction that pulled the ice chunk inside.

Strangely, neither Su Ran nor Badongng, standing so close, felt the slightest suction, which seed utterly unscientific!

"Drip, drip."

After the ice block entered the coffin, the iron-hard ice began showing signs of lting, the dripping sound continuously echoed, giving Su Ran a creepy feeling, his scalp tingling.

"Let’s get out of here first."

Badongng too sensed sothing was wrong, anxious to leave, he was the first to exit the pit, awaiting the resurrection of the skeleton remains.

Su Ran, however, reluctantly straightened up to the coffin, but as there was no reaction, he followed Badongng out.

"Human, never underestimate this skeleton, I’ve sensed a threat from it."

Being a demon, Badongng’s senses were naturally sharper than Su Ran’s. Watching the pit with vigilance, awaiting the skeleton to erge.

"Uh, okay."

Su Ran almost burst out laughing, Badongng did not know his identity, nor what this skeleton ant to him. If this skeleton intended harm, he would imdiately strip off to reveal that skeleton fra, what could possibly pit kin against kin, it might even be a great opportunity!

As ti ticked by patiently with Su Ran and Badongng, a harsh, peculiar sound finally ca from the pit.

"Be safe!"

Badongng’s attention was focused on the pit the mont the strange noise erged, ready for battle, awaiting the appearance of the skeleton remains.

"..."

Seeing the demon overly tense, Su Ran nonchalantly twitched his mouth, it was just a low-level Undead, was there a need to be so nervous?

However.

When the main player made its entrance, it left Su Ran stunned.

This was no Undead skeleton, but a massive Mudman, struggling mightily to erge from the pit, appearing sowhat clumsy.

The Mudman held the peculiar stone coffin in its hand, seemingly using it as a weapon based on the current posture.

"Senior, what’s this about?"

Seeing the Mudman, Su Ran was deeply disappointed, expecting to et a fellow kin, but ended up with such a thing, a letdown indeed!

"If my guess is right, the Mudman’s shell is probably a clump of the mud from the pit, its defense is certainly not weak."
