"If you don’t die, how could I?"

Hearing Ben Valley’s words, Iron Man’s face turned gloomy. Revealing its shortcomings at first eting, especially in front of Su Ran, made it question how it could maintain face. But then, Iron Man seed to rember sothing and stared suspiciously at Su Ran, "Human, why does Ben Valley call you Little Skeleton? Are you human or undead?"

"Hey, looks like I said too much."

Ben Valley looked at Su Ran with a smile that wasn’t quite a smile, "So you didn’t tell it your true identity. We’re all on the sa side, no need to hide anything. It’s not like we’re in the Celestial Realm here!"

"Uh, you’ve taught a lesson, senior."

Su Ran’s expression was a bit unnatural. Having hidden it from Iron Man for so long, being suddenly exposed would surely offend it!

However, it’s not a big deal. With Ben Valley backing him up, Iron Man should not turn hostile.

"Human, wait, I should call you Little Skeleton. Your ans of hiding your identity are quite impressive, even able to mask undead aura. I didn’t see through it at all."

Iron Man scanned Su Ran with a suspicious gaze, "Take off your clothes, let see your body."

"Senior, isn’t that a bit inappropriate? Though I’m just a skeleton, I still have dignity. If you see bare, how could I face anyone else in the future?"

"Don’t talk nonsense, we’re all n here, nothing to be embarrassed about. I just need to confirm your identity, I’m not going to eat you!"

Iron Man was a bit put out by Su Ran’s fussy deanor and couldn’t help but reprimand him, motioning for Su Ran to quickly take off his clothes for inspection.

"Well... alright then."

Su Ran reluctantly lifted the Illusion Demon Black Robe, revealing his skeletal form, paused for about two or three seconds, and then quickly wrapped himself up again. "Senior, my actions just now might give soone the wrong impression of having a peculiar hobby..."

"I understand, I understand."

Iron Man gave Su Ran a deep look, "Didn’t expect an undead skeleton to exhibit the cunning side of humans so authentically, even I was fooled by you."

"Senior, are you praising or mocking ?"

Su Ran said with a mix of laughter and tears, unable to stop grumbling to himself. You’re even stingier than humans, not even able to offer a reward, and you have the nerve to criticize others. Am I giving you too much face?!

"Little Skeleton, don’t mind it. It’s just like that, speaks bluntly. You’ll get used to it."

Ben Valley chuckled, taking over the conversation with a sincere tone, "In any case, you saved my life. I owe you one. If you need any help, just let know."

"How could I possibly ask? You’re a senior, to owe a junior like a favor seems inappropriate,"

Su Ran quickly refused, but then shifted his tone, "However, if I don’t accept your goodwill, it seems sowhat ungrateful. How about we turn the favor into so tangible help? That way, neither of us will have to worry. What do you say?"

Upon hearing this, the Iron Man beside Su Ran revealed a peculiar expression. This scene felt familiar. With the appetite of this skeleton, it looked like Ben Valley was in for so big expenses.

"Tangible help? What do you want?"

Ben Valley was taken aback by Su Ran’s words, asking without realizing he would regret it imdiately afterward.

"Just give a little sothing as a gesture, like a Dream Mirror, Divine Secret Elixir, Divine Wish Stone, Ancient Three Coins, Magic Artifacts, Magic Technique, anything will do. I’m not very demanding."

Su Ran shalessly said, casting a wide net, hoping that one particular keyword might trigger the corresponding quest, just like the previous General Skill Book. Even though it was just a trashy Fireball Technique, at least it triggered a quest. Clearly, Ben Valley wasn’t an ordinary NPC. If he happened to have a task in that regard, wouldn’t that be splendid?

As soon as he finished, the corners of Ben Valley’s and Iron Man’s eyes twitched almost simultaneously.

"Little Skeleton, no wonder Baji said you’re even more cunning than humans. I have witnessed it firsthand."

Ben Valley shook his head and sighed, feeling quite speechless at Su Ran’s unreasonable requests, unsure what to say.

Baji?

So this Iron Man actually has a na. Su Ran gave Baji a peculiar glance. It was a good na, luckily not read backwards, or it’d beco a sensitive word...

Ahem, back to the main topic.

"Little Skeleton, I can’t handle your high demands. These are all legendary items. I’m just a small demon general, hardly have even a chance to encounter them, let alone own them. You’re overestimating ."

Ben Valley explained to Su Ran with patience, "When you et the Demon Sovereign, he might be able to satisfy your requests. However, there is a prerequisite, you must pay a substantial price."

"Uh, Ben Valley, senior, don’t you have any quest leads or sothing? I’d be content with just a quest, no matter how difficult."

Su Ran was unwilling to give up, continuing to ask. Given Ben Valley’s uniqueness, there couldn’t be no hidden quests at all, right?

"You want a quest? That’s easy! Go to the Human Race and kill the Human Emperor, get the Imperial Jade Seal, and hand it over to the Demon Sovereign. He will give you a chance to exchange for treasures, all the treasures you ntioned can be exchanged!"

"What?!"

Upon hearing the words ’Imperial Jade Seal,’ Su Ran was struck like by lightning, freezing in place.

He never imagined in his wildest dreams that the Imperial Jade Seal could have such great use, being able to exchange even for a Dream Mirror!

But now what use was there in saying this, since the Imperial Jade Seal has already been fed to Wang Cai, and there’s no getting it back...

At this mont, Su Ran felt like crying but had no tears, an overwhelming sense of regret filling his heart.

"Little Skeleton, you don’t actually intend to kill the Human Emperor, do you? I was just saying that offhandedly, don’t do anything foolish!"

Ben Valley noticed Su Ran standing still and beca concerned, quickly advising him, afraid he might do sothing irrational and end up getting himself killed, which would indeed be a sin.

"The power of the Human Emperor is unfathomable, not sothing a little skeleton like him could tackle. Ben Valley, don’t fret over this."

Baji outright didn’t believe Su Ran would target the Human Emperor. They were on entirely different levels, not to ntion whether Su Ran could confront the Human Emperor, he might not even dare to enter the Human Race’s Imperial City!

"..."

Su Ran wanted to tell these two NPCs the truth, that he had dealt with the Human Emperor several tis. The Human Emperor’s avatar was killed by his own hands, the Jade Seal fed to a dog, and the true form was sealed in the Nine Nether Wasteland Ridge, eting a most miserable fate. But even if he said all this, it would be useless, as these two NPCs simply wouldn’t believe him and would think he was bragging...

Moreover, if this because of this matter, he affected the favorability of these two NPCs, it would be a loss that outweighed the gain.

With this in mind, Su Ran chose to lay low and swallowed the truth back down.
