Chapter 677: Chapter 517: Awakening

Henos passed through a layer of blood light as if it were substantial and then entered the Blood Realm.

Previously, Henos had heard so conversations among her brothers.

In their discussions,

Su Heng was undoubtedly a cruel and ruthless Great Demon King who reigned supre.

The lair of the Great Demon King couldn’t possibly be a welcoming place, probably not much different from the Eighteen Layers of Hell, plus so of the things seen previously in the Outer Sea.

Henos had already ford a first impression.

However, upon actually arriving in this land, she found that the environnt was completely different from what she had expected.

Henos hovered in mid-air, her slender figure like a phantom. The vast Blood Realm unfolded before her like a scroll being slowly unwrapped.

The fields were golden, and the plains were vast.

White-scaled steeds, like ocean waves, galloped and neighed across the expanse.

Huge Spirit Void Dao Woods rose from the wilderness at the horizon, thousands of ters tall, with lush green canopies penetrating into the clouds.

The surging Daoist charm ca like a turbulent sea. Henos’ pupils contracted slightly as she saw strands of black and red blood qi shooting into the sky, each breath representing a strong warrior who cultivated their physical body to the human limit. And such warriors, she saw no less than a hundred just within her field of vision.

“The foundation here is so profound; it’s sowhat different from what my brothers described,” Henos murmured to herself, unconsciously gripping the Long Spear in her hand.

Boom!

A loud explosion sounded.

The massive Taibola Volcano trembled gently before erupting violently.

Crimson magma shot into the sky, and dense clouds ford in an instant, the surrounding void distorted, and dark clouds gathered into huge whirlpools with dark red specks flickering within them. After a mont of silence, shrill whistling sounds suddenly erupted as giant fireballs, dragging long trails of flas, plunged from thousands of ters in the sky.

Although these fireballs were impressive in appearance, the power contained within was not destructive; before they even fell, they shattered against the barriers above the city.

And such incidents seed to occur frequently, as even the Cultivators in the square seed to have no extra reaction to them.

Henos’s face was faintly pale.

Her spiritual power was extrely formidable, and she perceived things far more deeply than ordinary people.

At this mont, from her perspective, the volcano seed to co to life, and Henos could even hear the dull heartbeat coming from within. The vast Life Aura ca like a tide covering the sky, spread out to fill every corner of the world, and did not stop there but pervaded beyond the Immortal Heavens.

If one looked beyond the Blood Realm,

they would be terrified to find that the entire Mythical Battlefield had turned into a giant black and red vortex.

As Su Heng entered the most critical mont of his cultivation, Chaotic Energy like ocean currents was being drawn from afar, absorbed and refined by Su Heng.

“To absorb Chaotic Power on such a scale without being transford into a Demon or an irrational monster, it’s truly incredible!” Although Henos spent most of her ti confined in her own garden, her knowledge was not limited. The Great Clan Chief took a long ti to personally tutor her, making her understanding of Immortal Heavens even more profound than most of her brothers.

The Chaotic Power in the Immortal Heavens is a double-edged sword.

It could guide the transformation and mutation of human flesh and spirit, even twist matter and alter reality to achieve various scientific miracles beyond imagination.

On the other hand, these Chaotic Energies are also filled with danger and uncertainty.

A single lapse in concentration could lead to the collapse of one’s own flesh and blood.

Since ancient tis,

there had been countless researchers who died exploring the Immortal Heavens, touching forbidden knowledge, so of whom were even the culprits behind the Federation’s destruction.

But here, Henos saw another side.

Under the authority of that terrifying entity in the volcano, the Chaotic Energies behaved like well-ordered soldiers.

At Su Heng’s command, those elents began to execute, together constructing a sight Henos had never imagined. Watching those surging crimson torrents in the sky, Henos found herself montarily unable to look away, deeply imrsed and intoxicated by such a majestic force.

“No wonder even the Great Clan Chief is unwilling to confront such an opponent head-on; it is truly terrifying. Even with the relics of the era of dark technology, the chances of victory are probably slim,” Henos thought to herself, fully understanding her father’s mindset at this point.

And what’s more frightening to her is,

even though she had grown to such an extent, the aura emanating from Su Heng was still strengthening.

Like a greedy and never-satisfied Black Hole, it continuously drew power from its surroundings; and in the process, it transford into sothing even more terrifying.

“Hiss…”

Henos’s delicate fingernails pierced into the flesh of her palm.

The slight prick of pain brought her back to her senses from the shock before her eyes. She knew that her purpose for coming was not to probe for information, as there were even more important tasks to complete.

She gave a deep look in the direction of the Taibola Volcano, and then did her utmost to keep her own aura from leaking.

Only then did she release her perception again, searching for the whereabouts of her two older brothers in this world.
