Monet, Baby-5, and Sugar imdiately swore allegiance to Ryuya.
He hypnotized the others, making them forget the encounter.
Ryuya vanished, leaving the three won behind.
The others had no mory of his visit.
He hadn't hypnotized them into joining because it caused significant brain damage, potentially turning them into imbeciles.
Unlike Weevil, who was strong despite his low intelligence, their combat effectiveness would be halved if their minds were impaired.
The three won were chilled by Ryuya's thods.
Ryuya, stretching, enjoyed Makino's wine, then set course for Marineford. He planned a vacation with the won afterward, but his primary goal was to increase their strength.
Only then could they truly thrive on the Grand Line, and only then would he feel secure. In a major war, they would be his greatest assets.
So ti before reaching Marineford, Ryuya transferred his consciousness to Zero.
The massive Noah's Ark sailed through the air, astonishing Carina.
As the Dawn Bird's sole external mber, she was still unfamiliar with the organization.
Ryuya, as Zero, said, "This is just the beginning. If you want to beco an internal mber, cultivate your ntal fortitude."
Carina nodded thoughtfully. The Noah's Ark's spirit chid.
"You an we're approaching the location on the map? And it's Whiskey Peak?"
The system's voice echoed in Ryuya's mind.
[Ding! Check-in mission: Whiskey Peak. Reward: chanical Soldier Factory! Ti limit: 1 day.]
Ryuya's brow furrowed, then smoothed. He understood why the map led to Whiskey Peak—a haven for bounty hunters targeting inexperienced pirates heading to the Grand Line.
They likely used the map as bait, luring victims into a trap.
The map circulated throughout the four seas; they wouldn't dare distribute it in the Grand Line, where stronger pirates could easily wipe them out.
"I'm bored. Let's join the fun."
Ryuya stored the Noah's Ark in his system inventory.
Carina felt a sudden, intense sensation of weightlessness as she plumted.
"AAAAAH!"
She felt out of control, falling rapidly. At this speed, hitting the sea would be like hitting the ground. She'd be turned into paste!
She closed her eyes, the wind howling in her ears, stinging her face.
"Leader! Save !"
She cried out repeatedly, but Ryuya didn't intervene.
He and Kuina watched with amusent as Carina's cloak blew away, her hair disheveled.
As her cries weakened with exhaustion, she began to adapt.
Her eyes pleaded with Ryuya and Kuina as she fell.
When she was close enough to the sea, Ryuya slowed her descent using his spellcasting.
The waves lapped at her feet.
"Not bad. Adapting to fear shows potential."
Carina, taking a deep breath, threw herself into Ryuya's arms, clinging tightly.
The fear, suppressed during the fall, resurfaced in safety.
After fifteen minutes, she relaxed, rearranged her cloak, and, under Kuina's envious gaze, pulled away from Ryuya.
Ryuya, noticing Kuina's expression, affectionately ruffled her hair.
"Let's see what treasures Whiskey Peak holds."
He activated his Bijo Bijo no Mi, creating phantom disguises, concealing their identities and removing their capes.
They flew towards Whiskey Peak.
Upon arrival, the system's voice echoed.
[Ding! Congratulations, host! You've received the chanical Soldier Factory. It mass-produces superior soldiers, upgradeable and customizable.]
Ryuya understood the implications…
