A young girl, covered in blood, her simple kimono torn in several places, held the Wado Ichimonji while another katana hung at her waist. She walked quickly across the ice and snow, following the footprints. Kuina, having successfully defeated a Rear Admiral and taken his sword, was in hot pursuit, searching for the Marine Rear Admiral who was leading the retreating troops.

Suddenly, a series of piercing screams caught her attention.

"Up ahead—" A subtle light flickered in Kuina's eyes. She silently picked up her pace and headed straight for the source of the sound. As she walked, the screams she heard grew more and more intense, their source increasing a hundred, a thousand-fold.

"!!"

This series of events made Kuina realize that the enemy she was pursuing seed to have encountered a great slaughter. She subconsciously stopped, silently tightening her grip on her Wado Ichimonji.

"Who was in this direction?" Kuina thought, trying to figure out which of her partners had the ability to inflict such a large-scale massacre on these Marine elites.

In the end, she ca to a terrifying conclusion. None of them should have been in this direction.

Kuina subconsciously took a step forward, wanting to continue on and see what had happened. However, the next mont, her foot stopped in mid-air.

The surrounding air currents were in chaos. The ice mist rose slightly, and a thick sll of blood washed over her, along with the sound of viscous liquid dripping, bringing a sense of disgusting physiological discomfort. But at this mont, Kuina had no ti to worry about her discomfort. She stood frozen in place, staring intently at the giant in front of her who looked as if he had been drenched in blood.

A figure about nine ters tall, bathed in blood, with his wings folded, had appeared before Kuina at so unknown point. His hair, of an indiscernible color, was disheveled. His muscles bulged, and his lower body was slightly slender compared to his upper body. He had decorations made of feathers and bones on his head. His upper body was bare, and his lower body was wrapped in animal skins. He looked just like a primitive savage.

He held a spear fashioned from a leg bone in one hand, its tip aid precisely at the spot between Kuina's eyebrows, letting the viscous red liquid drip down the bone spear and onto her face. His other hand held half of a brutally torn torso. Combined with his primitive attire, he looked like an ogre that had run out of so unknown deserted island.

He just stood there quietly, watching Kuina, a thoughtful look in his eyes, as if he were trying to determine if the small person before him was on the World Governnt's side.

Kuina looked at the wings of indiscernible color on his back and his mountain-like burly fra, and seed to recall sothing. She subconsciously uttered a phrase: "Old muscle-head?"

The burly figure slowly lowered the bone spear, casually tossed aside the half-torso, and walked past Kuina. He sat down cross-legged on an iceberg and quietly watched the distance. The mountain-like figure watched Louis's one-on-two battle in the distance, seemingly with no intention of interfering.

Kuina subconsciously breathed a sigh of relief. She then ignored this person and continued on, heading in the direction the soldiers had retreated. Soon, she caught up with the retreating unit led by the Rear Admiral.

However, what entered her sight was a hellishly grueso and terrifying scene. The once-white glacier had turned red. It was littered with broken weapons. As far as the eye could see, the soldiers who were supposed to have retreated from here had been torn to pieces and scattered everywhere.

Kuina's pupils trembled violently. She instantly understood what had happened here.

"That person—"

Even Kuina, who was accustod to life and death, felt her hair stand on end at this sight. From the mont she heard the first scream to when she t that "old muscle-head," only a few dozen seconds had passed. In such a short ti, this entire Marine unit had been torn to pieces.

At this mont, Kuina finally understood that what Louis often said—"I'm a conservative. The tribesn who personally experienced that mont decades ago have generally beco extre to a rather terrifying degree"—was not a joke.

"So you really are a conservative..." Kuina's mouth twitched slightly as she muttered to herself.

anwhile, at the source of the storm.

In the boundless glacier, several figures from three different forces, in a standoff with each other, all looked up at the sky, at the massive figure looming in the clouds.

"Kaido of the Beasts!!" Marine HQ Vice Admiral Momousagi gritted her teeth and said the na. Beside her, Chaton, with his sowhat scruffy appearance, frowned and discreetly looked at the figure not far away who was completely wrapped in secrecy, taking in his reaction.

On the other side, Perospero, who had joined the battle midway, was also extrely serious. "This is bad, Katakuri! That monster Kaido is here! He must be after this group too!"

Unlike Perospero's terrified look, Katakuri was quite calm at this mont and even had the leisure to observe the reactions of the others. "Don't worry. If a conflict arises with that guy, I'll hold him off and let you and our younger siblings retreat safely."

On the other side, as the weakest and most unsupported party, Yelena looked indifferently at the blue dragon shadow in the sky and silently tightened her grip on her war hamr. "Kaido of the Beasts—is it?"

The next mont, the massive dragon-shaped figure slowly descended from the dark sky. Its huge claws extended, seemingly intentionally yet unintentionally, and reached straight for the Anemoi, grabbing it in one fell swoop. In an instant, the polar storm that had been sweeping across the entire glacier ca to an abrupt halt.

Imdiately after, the giant dragon head, a mysterious blush on its cheeks, slowly descended, its hazy dragon eyes seeming to be half-open, half-closed. As the massive dragon shadow approached, everyone slled a thick scent of alcohol.

For a mont, everyone present, except for Yelena, had a subtle change in their expressions.

"Kaido, this guy is drunk again—"

"Hic—urp." As if to confirm their suspicions, Kaido opened his cavernous mouth and let out a drunken burp.

Seeing this, Perospero's eyes widened. As if seeing a flood or a ferocious beast, he subconsciously retreated several dozen steps.

Under everyone's gaze, Kaido shook his head, looking as if he were trying to sober himself up. "A little Marine brat... Linlin's Katakuri, and her useless eldest son..." Kaido's huge dragon eyes, filled with a deep drunkenness, swept over the group with great interest.

Finally, his gaze rested on Yelena, who was completely wrapped up, with only a pair of black oni horns and grotesque antlers exposed.

"Hey, brat! I see, so you're a Zoan type too? This trip wasn't a waste—hic—urp."

With Yelena present, Kaido had temporarily lost interest in the others. He extended his giant dragon head toward Yelena and opened his cavernous mouth. "Brat, where's your captain? Both of you, join my crew!"

As he spoke, Kaido's giant dragon claws subconsciously tightened their grip on the Anemoi's body, making its fla of life flicker violently.

In the distance, Momousagi and Chaton's faces were strange, their expressions subtly changing. After a brief exchange of glances, they ca to a conclusion. "It seems they don't know about each other..."

Not far away, Katakuri took in the strange reactions of the Marine side and gradually narrowed his eyes.

Seeing this, a look of displeasure flashed in Yelena's scarlet eyes, and her body moved slightly. Under everyone's gaze, the temperature around Yelena dropped drastically. Snowflakes fell from the sky, showing signs of becoming a polar storm once again. A grayish light rose from her sickle-like claws and her cold, heavy World-Breaker war hamr. A cold, ominous aura spread to everyone nearby.

"Kaido... Let go of your claws!" A gender-neutral voice ca from under her gas mask.

The others saw this and tactfully remained silent. Everyone was happy to see soone be foolhardy enough to confront the uncrowned king of the New World. Especially the two from the Marines; knowing everything, they were quite looking forward to the scene that was about to unfold. If the timing wasn't wrong, they might have even taken out a Den Den Mushi to record it.

Kaido looked at the snow-covered Yelena and was montarily taken aback, the drunkenness in his eyes clearing by more than half. "Also a Mythical Zoan! You must join my crew!" Kaido's cavernous mouth split open in a ferocious grin. He looked even more interested.

To this, Yelena's gaze beca incomparably cold. Her legs bent, and after leaving a shattered patch of ground, she leaped high. Gripping the World-Breaker war hamr, which was wreathed in Armant Haki and curse power, with both hands, she brought it crashing down toward Kaido's head with a terrifying roar of thunder.

"?"

The familiar sound of thunder made Kaido freeze on the spot. A look of bewildernt flashed in his dragon eyes. "Is this—"
