Chiga and Hancock finally discovered Granny Nyon, who had been turned into a stone statue for quite so ti.

Staring at the statue in shock, Chiga asked in a puzzled tone,

"Hancock, did you use your ability just now?"

Hancock looked equally confused. She shook her head.

"No, I didn't use my power."

Chiga got out of bed and walked over to Granny Nyon's petrified form. He gently tapped her head twice with his finger—thud, thud.

Judging by the feel of it, the statue's hardness wasn't bad. At least, the quality seed decent.

Hancock leaned against the headboard, amused by Chiga's actions. She chuckled softly,

"Lord Chiga, move Granny Nyon to my bedside. I want to see what's going on."

"Mhm."

Instead of physically moving her, Chiga sat back down next to Hancock and used the power of the Deva Path to make the stone statue float toward the bed.

As Granny Nyon drifted closer, Hancock once again leaned her head on Chiga's shoulder, unwilling to part from him even for a second.

She reached out to touch the stone statue, gently tapping it with a finger. A ripple of pink heart-shaped energy spread out, and the stone began to fade. Granny Nyon reverted to her original form.

Still mid-gesture, her expression frozen from the mont she'd been petrified, Granny Nyon floated in the air, flailing dramatically. Hancock's brow twitched in annoyance. For a mont, she considered tossing the old woman out the window as she used to.

She had finally found such a precious mont with her beloved Lord Chiga. She didn't want Granny Nyon to ruin it.

But with Chiga right next to her, she chose to show so restraint. Instead, she scolded sharply,

"Can you be quiet? You'll disturb Lord Chiga!"

Chiga gently squeezed Hancock's hand, signaling her to let it go. He didn't mind.

Hancock blushed and quickly buried her head in Chiga's chest like an ostrich hiding in the sand.

Granny Nyon, still floating, didn't take offense. She was long used to Hancock's temper. With an indulgent, almost aunt-like smile, she looked at the two and nodded in approval.

In her eyes, this handso man and beautiful woman made a striking couple.

Besides, Chiga wasn't just any man—he was a top-tier Marine Admiral and possibly the strongest man in the world. With his protection, Amazon Lily would be safer than ever before.

Thinking of this, Granny Nyon's expression turned wistful. She cupped her large cheeks in her hands and sighed dreamily,

"Ah… love really is wonderful. This old woman once had sweet love too!"

"…"

Chiga was a bit speechless at her tone. He glanced at her short fra and heavily wrinkled face, wondering at the strange logic of the One Piece world.

No matter how beautiful a woman had once been, aging here took them to the opposite extre. They didn't just grow old—they looked like completely different people.

Vice Admiral Tsuru aged gracefully, but others like Dadan, Mada Shyarly's grandmother, Big Mom, and Granny Nyon were... a bit much.

Granny Nyon had once been Amazon Lily's empress three generations ago. Surely, she had been stunning in her youth—tall and graceful. But now, she was short and cartoonishly aged.

There's a saying from Earth: Ti never defeats beauty. Clearly, that didn't apply here. In this world, the more beautiful you were, the harder ti seed to hit you.

Chiga couldn't help but think about the won around him. In a few decades, would they all beco like Granny Nyon?

He wouldn't dislike them—but his current body had already entered the Otsutsuki state. His lifespan would vastly exceed that of ordinary humans, and his aging would slow dramatically.

What if he remained youthful while the won around him aged into wrinkles and hunched backs?

The thought sent a shiver down his spine.

(Hehe...)

Hancock, sensing his tremble, thought he was cold and quickly tugged her blanket over him.

Chiga gently stroked her long, silky black hair, gazing at her flawless profile. He silently swore—he would never let that happen.

He raised his hand and pressed on his right Rinnegan. One of the tomoe embedded within held the power of the Op-Op Fruit. With it, he could change everything.

Awakening a Devil Fruit was nearly impossible for most, but for Chiga, it was as natural as breathing. He had already awakened the Goro Goro no Mi, the Nekomata Fruit, and the Asura Fruit. The Op-Op Fruit would be next.

The only reason he hadn't awakened it yet was due to the risk: the Immortality Operation required a "life for a life."

Even though he possessed Ishinagahi, a powerful dōjutsu with absolute regenerative abilities, it required at least a shred of consciousness to activate.

If the Immortality Operation ant instant death, there would be no ti to activate Ishinagahi.

He wasn't yet a complete Six Paths body and couldn't regenerate like Six Paths Madara.

Still, Chiga's eyes narrowed. He only needed three more Devil Fruits to completely fill his left eye. Once that happened, his body would evolve again.

He refused to believe that sothing like the Immortality Operation could take his life.

Lost in thought, Chiga stared silently at Granny Nyon. His expression was unreadable, making the old woman nervous. She didn't even dare breathe too loudly, fearing she'd offended him.

Noticing his lack of response, Hancock reluctantly sat up from his chest and gently pushed him, asking softly,

"Lord Chiga, is sothing wrong?"

Pulled from his thoughts, Chiga turned toward her and lightly tapped her delicate nose with his finger, smiling.

"I'm fine. I was just thinking about how to keep you all by my side forever."

"All of us?"

Hancock imdiately caught the "us" in his words. She rembered Kalifa and Ain, the two other won she'd seen at Marine Headquarters.

They were beautiful and always near Lord Chiga. That must be who he ant.

Hancock still felt a pang of sadness in her heart.

What she didn't realize was that, as her emotions stirred, her long dark hair began to lift, swaying despite the still air…
