Coco Village, East Blue

"Chiga, are you going out to sea today?"

An old woman stood at the entrance of a butcher shop and called out to a young man. The young man was tall and slender with a handso face, nearly two ters in height. His expression was cold and aloof, and his black hair was casually tied back. His skin was fair, and he wore a black robe with a pattern resembling a ping-pong ball on his back. He had a pair of brown gloves on his hands.

What was most unforgettable was his eyes. They were purple, each surrounded by circles of black patterns, exuding an aura of mystery and danger.

A faint smile appeared on the young man's cool face as he nodded in acknowledgnt to the old woman.

The young man's na was Uchiha Chiga. To be precise, he didn't belong to this world. He originally ca from a planet called Earth, where he was an orphan. By chance, he transmigrated into the world of Naruto, a manga from Earth, and beca a mber of the Uchiha clan.

There, his second life's parents gave him the na Uchiha Chiga before dying on the battlefield. Relying on his mories from his previous life, he beca friends with the early-stage Minato Namikaze. After learning the Flying Thunder God Technique, he believed he had enough power to protect himself. Then, he used a mission as an opportunity to fake his death and stayed outside Konoha.

Thus, he developed discreetly outside, using so information from his Earth mories to make a deal with Orochimaru. Finally, with Orochimaru's help, he successfully fused the powers of the Uchiha and Senju to awaken his own Rinnegan.

Unexpectedly, while he was imrsed in the joy of awakening his eyes, Orochimaru ambushed him. He overused his newly born ocular power and utilized spatial abilities he was not yet proficient with, subsequently losing consciousness.

When he regained consciousness, he was already on a small island, and his body had reverted to a six-year-old state.

He quickly checked his body's condition after the transmigration. Fortunately, the Hashirama cells and Rinnegan he had painstakingly acquired were still there, but due to his body's regression and the overuse of his ocular power, he couldn't access much of his strength.

Since it wasn't his first transmigration, he quickly adjusted his emotions. After exploring the island for a day, he found this village called Coco Village.

When he saw a woman with wine-red hair and two little girls, nad Belle-mère, in the village, his distant past mories once again reminded him: this ti, he had arrived in the world of One Piece.

Since he was here, he would make the best of it. The villagers were simple and warm-hearted. Although his eyes frightened them, Granny Risa from the butcher shop, seeing him as a six-year-old child wandering alone, couldn't bear it and took him in.

He had lived in this village ever since, settling down to wait for his body to develop and to adapt to the power of his eyes. It had been ten years now.

This year, he was sixteen.

"It's about ti. Although the overuse back then prevented my Rinnegan's unique abilities from fully developing, due to the special aspects of food and other things in the world of One Piece, my body seems to have developed even stronger than before. The Hashirama cells have also perfectly integrated with my body. As expected of a world where almost everyone is a blood tank, is this a blessing in disguise?" Uchiha Chiga mused.

Clenching his fist, feeling the surging power within him once more, Chiga's heart also swelled with excitent.

Based on the power levels shown in the ani from his previous life, Chiga estimated that, without using various special abilities, his current strength had reached the level of a regular Vice Admiral in the Marines, still a considerable distance from an Admiral.

However, he believed that with better physical developnt and subsequent exposure to the power system of the One Piece world, surpassing his past self and becoming a top-tier figure in this world was inevitable, and this wouldn't take long at all.

"It's ti to go out to sea and see. In this world of One Piece, perhaps I can beco a true Six Paths Sage."

In this life, he planned to temporarily join the Marines.

Joining the Marines was, on one hand, because as a forr Earthling, he naturally had a greater sense of identification with the military and was more resistant to becoming a pirate. After all, while the Marines in the world of One Piece had so corruption and negative aspects, they were generally good, and the Marines were, after all, the official authority.

As for pirates, apart from the protagonist's crew and a few other exceptions, most were villains who committed arson, murder, robbery, and all sorts of evil deeds. Chiga didn't consider himself a bleeding heart; in Naruto, those who provoked him were killed without hesitation, but he still had his moral bottom line.

On the other hand, joining the Marines would allow him to learn about this world's power system and provide more opportunities to encounter the unique features of the One Piece world: Devil Fruits.

He didn't plan to eat a Devil Fruit. With his Rinnegan, he already controlled six types of chakra nature transformations, so Logia-type fruits held little aning for him.

The thousands of ninjutsu he had copied during his Sharingan period also ant he didn't particularly need Paracia-type abilities. As for Zoan types, they were useless to him, as he already possessed a Sage Body through the Hashirama cells.

So, why add the disadvantage of being a landlubber? However, he had an idea he wanted to confirm: could his Rinnegan's Preta Path affect the abilities or users of Devil Fruits? And could he use the power of Devil Fruits to evolve his Rinnegan further?

He had a premonition that this might be his opportunity for a breakthrough.

Putting his thoughts aside, Chiga decided to go fishing one last ti before heading out to sea. This ti, he would catch a lot, as the old woman's supply might beco scarce after he left.
