Chapter 579: God Making, Nirvasiu!

Before long, Carl’s ship broke through the mist and sailed into the waters near Marine Headquarters.

Ryuunosuke and the others were already waiting.

To avoid dragging ordinary civilians into the fight, as well as the families of Marine personnel, they had deliberately shifted the battlefield out here.

"Captain Ryuunosuke, long ti no see!"

Carl stared at him, his expression sickly, almost tender.

"I never imagined our next eting would be to wipe you all out."

"To be honest... I really can’t bear to do it."

"eting again?" Ryuunosuke replied calmly, as if Carl were nothing but a loud insect.

"Back in Mary Geoise, you were hiding in the shadows, weren’t you?"

"You didn’t even dare show your face then, and now you talk like you’re doing us a favor."

"How pitiful."

That single sentence made Carl’s smile twitch, then warp.

If Vegapunk had not forbidden him from taking action back then, Carl believed he would have seized the entire Dragon Hunter Pirates and used them as experint materials on the spot.

That was his own certainty, his own pride.

And now Ryuunosuke had stabbed right into it.

"Then let Captain Ryuunosuke see why I said it," Carl said, voice thick with anger.

He spread his arms wide, as if welcoming the world.

"Co out, my little darlings!"

A roar answered from beneath the sea.

In the next mont, one enormous Aragami after another surged up from the water, their bodies ripping the surface apart like they were tearing open paper.

Ryuunosuke’s eyes narrowed.

"These are different from the previous Aragami."

He spoke without raising his voice, but the order carried weight.

"Tell the Navy to hold off for now."

"Gaino, provide fire support."

Now that these things had shown themselves, the first task was obvious.

Erase them.

Carl had swaggered here on purpose, which ant he never planned to rely on these monsters alone to defeat Ryuunosuke’s group.

"Understood, Captain."

Gaino voice echoed across every Den Den Mushi line, carried through the Ark of Eternity.

"Marine personnel, do not enter the battlefield for the ti being."

"I’m beginning the attack."

The mont Gaino spoke, the Marines who had rushed over froze in place, then erupted into chatter.

"Was that the voice of the ship spirit on Ryuunosuke’s ship?"

"As expected of the Dragon Hunter Pirates... I feel like I couldn’t even beat their ship spirit."

"What are you even saying?"

"That’s their ship spirit, the one controlling their ship!"

"Did you see that ship? Doesn’t it look like it could sink several islands with a single shot?"

No one doubted the warning.

If Gaino fired without restraint, any Marine who stepped into the zone would be reduced to mist before they could even shout a slogan.

Then the Ark of Eternity answered them with action.

Boom boom boom!

nacing cannon barrels unfolded from its hull.

No chanting. No loading ritual. No dramatic pause.

Countless shells launched at once, drowning the sky in raw killing intent.

Star Destroyer Cannon.

The bombardnt swallowed the Aragami whole.

Even the sea itself evaporated under the storm, water screaming into steam as thick fog exploded outward and smothered the horizon.

Ryuunosuke raised a hand.

The fog in front of him was torn apart, dispersed as if an invisible blade had sliced the world clean.

The Aragami were gone.

Not crippled, not sinking, not retreating.

Vanished.

Only a few drops of bright red blood remained, suspended in the air like stubborn stars.

Carl’s eyes glead.

"As expected of the Dragon Hunter Pirates."

"Only you people could unleash an attack like that."

His mouth curled.

"Still... thanks for the energy."

Then his tone shifted, reverent and mad all at once.

"God Nirvasiu!"

He lifted the test tube in his hand and attached it to a syringe, then plunged it directly into the hull beneath his feet.

The ship shuddered.

Buzz buzz buzz...

A strange wave rolled through the vessel, like a living creature waking from a deep sleep.

Then the hull began to sprout tentacles, thick and pulsing.

They slid into the sea and vanished beneath the surface.

"Captain," Gaino reported imdiately, eyes fixed on the seabed feed.

"Those tentacles have pierced through all the Aragami in the sea."

"It feels like it’s drawing in so kind of force."

"Should we stop it?"

"No need," Ryuunosuke said, almost cheerful.

"If I didn’t want this man to act, I would’ve had him killed a long ti ago."

"Since we already let him co..."

His smile sharpened.

"Let’s see what he’s trying to do."

It was true.

With Carl’s strength, even with these Aragami as cover, Ryuunosuke could have erased him before any of this began.

Just like liodas and his group, if he sent only a few people, they could wipe out Carl’s side without effort.

"Understood, Captain."

Genio stayed silent after that, watching the ship’s transformation with cold focus.

Soon, bright red blood began rising from the seabed, bead after bead, like a reverse rain.

They flowed upward and were injected into the suspended droplets in the air.

The ship’s heartbeat quickened, thudding through the water like a drum inside a giant’s chest.

The pressure grew heavier.

It felt like the sea itself was holding its breath.

Bang!

A gigantic arm burst out of the ship’s hull.

Then another.

In monts, a towering giant pulled itself free and stood upon the sea.

A strange force field ford beneath its feet, allowing it to move across the water like solid ground.

In only a few minutes, all Aragami in the surrounding waters had been consud.

"Captain," Gaino said, voice tight with discovery.

"That blood bead is a fusion of pure divine essence and bloodline factors."

"It’s the sa thing we extracted from those Aragami before."

"Yes," Ryuunosuke replied.

"I already know."

"The aura up there can’t be hidden anymore."

"Or rather... it’s no longer trying to hide."

He stared ahead, anticipation rising in his eyes.

"Next, sothing big is going to appear."

What kind of monster was this Nirvasiu that Carl kept calling a god?

The hull continued to change.

tal groaned. Flesh pulsed. Sothing impossible assembled itself piece by piece.

When it finally rose fully from the sea, even Ryuunosuke’s expression cracked for the first ti.

"Hells... a ch."

He actually swore.

Because the Nirvasiu in front of them looked like a Gundam.

Not one he had ever seen.

Its fra was bound together by living muscle, yet its exterior was plated in tallic armor, white and red dominating the design.

A living, breathing machine.

For a mont, Ryuunosuke even thought of the eerie biochs from EVA.

"Captain," Gaino said, voice trembling with excitent.

"This thing contains an extrely high concentration of divine essence."

"At least fifteen percent or more."

"May I begin?"

Ryuunosuke nodded once.

"Go."

With sothing like this on the field, Vegapunk’s reputation suddenly felt far too small to contain reality.

This was not sothing that should exist in this era.

No, not even in this world.

Then again, Ryuunosuke had no right to lecture anyone.

Because at the sa mont, Gaino also changed.

The Ark of Eternity’s form shifted.

A gigantic Gundam manifested, towering and overwhelming, and it attacked the instant it appeared.

Gaino drew the longsword from his back and swung downward in one clean motion.

Nirvasiu was still in a dormant state.

It was blasted away by a single strike, thrown across the sea like a broken toy.

But the suspended blood droplets were knocked backward too.

They shot after it, then rged into Nirvasiu’s body.

Carl’s laughter erupted, unhinged.

"Ha ha ha ha..."

"Ha ha ha ha..."

"Thank you, Captain Ryuunosuke, for the energy!"

"It activated the god!"

His voice rose into a crazed roar.

"Next, I’ll show you what the power of God really looks like!"

"The grandeur of this god making project is beyond the comprehension of ordinary people like you!"

"Be grateful you even get to witness it!"

Carl’s body began to crack.

Blood seeped from the fissures, coating him in red and making him look like a nightmare wearing a man’s skin.
