"So it really is a circle of transmutation and alchemy."

Imu mused, watching from the World of Titans as he followed with interest the developnt of the battle in the World of Teigu.

Imu didn't rember seeing such a professional use of alchemy in the Aka ga Kill series.

"Although in the prequel Zero, the Western alchemist, Dorothea, used transmutation circles and alchemy during her final duel with Leone."

Imu began to ponder.

"There is also such a thing as the Philosopher's Stone. Now that I think about it, this could be the core material of the Teigu."

"So, the difference between the Teigu and the Shingu lies in the use of the Philosopher's Stone?"

It seems that the Holy Emperor of the Empire six hundred years ago had failed due to not having access to those stones.

"Most likely, a thousand years ago, the First Emperor had obtained forty-eight of those stones."

"In this case, the value and danger level of the Teigu World must be re-evaluated, and more information about the Alchemy Kingdom must be obtained as soon as possible."

While Imu was deep in thought, Historia asked him curiously: "Husband, what are transmutation circles and alchemy?"

Imu pondered for a mont and briefly introduced the basic concept. "Alchemy is based on the principle of equivalent exchange. It consists of taking materials of equal mass and value, breaking them down, and then recomposing them using transmutation circles..."

When he finished speaking, Historia was already full of surprises. "An extraordinary profession that uses knowledge as a weapon actually has such a magical power!"

'If I'm not mistaken, the supernatural power of alchemy originates from channeling ideas through the transmutation circle, invoking the power of the Gate of Truth.' Imu ca to this conclusion and his expression darkened. 'I hope that's not the case. And if it is, that entity better not co looking for us. I couldn't handle that.'

Imu was determined not to enter the Teigu World himself and was considering giving orders for his troops to keep a low profile and not cause too much damage or civilian casualties. What would he do if that almighty being got angry?

...

At the sa ti, more and more heavy tanks were advancing towards the vast snowy plain. Although the enemies had erected steel defenses to block the shells, the soldiers inside the tanks believed that if they continued to fire with enough power, they would eventually break through the defenses.

[Boom! Boom! Boom!]

Hundreds of tanks scattered across the plain began firing, aiming at the walls and the layers of steel that had been raised.

Upon impacting against the steel defenses, they began to lt, allowing the projectiles to pierce through with ease, wiping out soldiers in their path.

At that very mont, the city's massive gate suddenly flew open, and an imposing unit of cavalry appeared, each of them, both riders and horses, clad in red armor.

They charged towards the battlefield like a crimson river, and the most shocking thing was that as they galloped, they ford a perfect circle.

The Wild Fire Knights.

One of the four major knight orders in the Alchemy Kingdom, with a total of 3,000 professional knights, all of noble origin and graduates of the Truth Academy as alchemists.

In the battlefields with the Empire over the past few hundred years, this Wild Fire Knights have crushed countless soldiers or dangerous species. Even the Beast Unit can hardly shake their charge head-on.

At this mont, the knights were advancing at full speed, braving the artillery fire that whistled through the air.

In a blink of an eye...

In the blink of an eye, the body of three thousand knights ford a perfect circle, with an intricate five-pointed star design within it, as if it were a constantly moving transmutation circle.

[Buzz!]

Suddenly, the transmutation circle was complete, and a layer of red light flashed across each knight's armor. As those lights ca together, a boom rang out, igniting the air around them.

In an instant, the entire body of knights transford into a wave of fire that swept across the field, so fast and fierce that every place they passed was turned to ashes. The pace of their advance increased.

The soldiers of the auxiliary troops inside the tanks were left speechless as they witnessed this scene.

"Fire! Fire!"

"Blast them to death on the way!"

The commander of the tank group roared madly into the radio microphone.

[Boom! Boom! Boom!]

Thousands of cannons fired in unison, sending a shower of burning tal into the air.

In an instant, both forces collided, unleashing a deafening roar.

So of the projectiles were repelled by the wave of fire and fell harmlessly to the sides of the battlefield.

Others managed to penetrate the knights' vanguard, but the knights used their long lances to accurately deflect them.

At this point, the distance between the two sides was less than a kiloter. The tanks began to maneuver to avoid a frontal attack.

However, what happened next exceeded all their expectations.

The wave of fire, against all logic, turned smoothly towards the left flank, and rushed towards the tanks that were trying to escape in all directions.

From above, one could see how that gigantic wave of fire devoured tank after tank, leaving behind only puddles of molten iron.

Nevertheless, the tanks on the right side took the opportunity to open fire, trying to destroy the waves from the sides.

Eventually, they managed to cause so damage.

Although the knights on the flanks raised their shields to block part of the attack, the intense bombardnt of hundreds of tanks caused casualties in dozens of them.

The flow of the fire wave wavered for a mont, but the knights adjusted their positions precisely, restoring the formation, although the firelight was now weaker.

"Attack!"

"Attack!"

Taking advantage of the fact that the tank group was being decimated by the knights, the infantry soldiers hiding behind the steel barriers began to advance.

Suddenly, three magnificent square formations of 10,000 people burst out like a flood.

On the other hand, the 15,000 soldiers of the auxiliary corps under the command of Charlotte Oven had already ford two lines of defense.

One by one, the soldiers in green military uniforms were holding automatic rifles or squatting beside the mortars, looking forward, quietly waiting for the opponent's infantry phalanx to enter their range.

Soon a long black line appeared in the distance. Nearly 30,000 soldiers of the Alchemy Kingdom, wearing armor, shields, and swords, marched to the beat of a deafening rumble that shook the ground.

Nervousness grew among the auxiliary troops, who swallowed unconsciously.

The two forces were getting closer and closer.

"Charge!"

The soldiers of the Alchemy Kingdom began their charge, protecting themselves with their shields from the enemy's firearms.

"Fire!"

"Fire!"

The soldiers of the auxiliary troops pulled the trigger hard, and in the blink of an eye, a shower of bullets rushed towards the enemy soldiers.

At the sa ti, mortars fired shells into the sky, leaving a red trail behind them.

"Shoot! Shoot!"

From the rear of the Alchemy Kingdom troops, archers with alchemical bows fired at the auxiliary troops with astonishing power and distance.

The alchemical arrows pierced the soldiers, pinning them to the trucks or the ground. Even those hiding under the chassis of the armored trucks were pierced along with the vehicles.

"Damn invaders from another world, you have committed a grave cri!"

"They will be punished!"

"Unforgivable! They cannot be forgiven!"

Amidst the massive charge, several n and won dressed in white robes were shouting in fury, uttering curses laden with justice. At the sa ti, they slapped their palms hard in front of their chests.

Suddenly, in different parts of the alchemists' white robes, transmutation circles began to appear, surrounded by electric sparks.

"Earth spikes!"

"Five-shot cannons!"

"Great blazing fire!"

"Freeze everything in front of !"

In an instant, various types of long-range attacks began to rain down on the auxiliary troops' defense lines.

This sudden dium-range bombardnt caused great destruction among the soldiers of the auxiliary troops. Even many military trucks that they used as fortifications were destroyed.

"We have already identified the enemy's tactics. It is ti to send our boys to the front."

"As for the fire cavalry group, leave it to the two lieutenant generals."

Charlotte Oven looked away from the virtual screen showing the auxiliary army soldiers fighting fiercely.

To him, these soldiers were nothing more than cannon fodder intended to test the enemy's tactics.

"Yes!"

The lieutenant generals and major generals around him said in unison, all showing a smile full of fighting spirit.

In the next instant...

With a rapid bursting sound, everyone disappeared from the place, leaving only Charlotte Oven. He knew that the most powerful alchemists in the kingdom had not yet co into action.

"State Alchemists... I wonder how long they can hold out."
