Half an hour later.

In the waters outside Impel Down, a Marine warship was speeding toward Marineford.

On the deck near the bow, several figures stood side by side.

Well, not all of them were standing.

There was also a half-dead figure sprawled on the ground, gasping for breath.

That, of course, was our old pal Blackbeard.

At this mont, he looked like he could keel over at any second.

His one remaining leg twitched occasionally, and his body convulsed in pain.

Standing beside him was a grinning Bullet, his face filled with unrestrained satisfaction.

What?

You’re asking what just happened?

Oh, nothing much—just Bullet beating Blackbeard’s three new crewmates into bloody pulp with his bare hands.

What?

You say you’re not part of the Blackbeard Pirates? That you have nothing to do with Blackbeard?

Too bad.

Who said Bullet needed a reason to beat you to mush?

If he wants to turn you into minceat, does he need your permission?

Since when has Bullet ever been one to reason with people?

Helpless, the three unlucky crewmates had no choice but to join Blackbeard in attacking Bullet.

But at that very mont, their new captain seed possessed by the spirit of a clown, clutching his stomach and freezing in place.

Faintly, there was a rather... fragrant sound.

In short, Blackbeard just stood there, watching as his three crew mbers were pumled by Bullet’s fists, one after another.

Bullet’s maniacal laughter echoed in his ears.

Blackbeard was ntally collapsing.

What the hell?!

What the actual hell was happening?!

Why had this sudden wave of urgency hit him?

His stomach hurt like hell.

He couldn’t even stand anymore.

Collapsed on the ground, he wailed in agony—much like his rear end.

Both ends were in full symphony.

His tenfold pain sensitivity hadn’t faded yet.

A simple stomachache was enough to take half his life.

And so, lying there—his pants occasionally bulging—Blackbeard could only watch as his three crewmates followed in Devon’s footsteps.

Pounded into paste.

The force was just right—the resulting "minceat" was exceptionally fresh.

Even Sanjuan Wolf was evenly pulverized.

In the end, Bullet didn’t bother finishing Blackbeard off.

He just smashed half his body to bits.

Gotta admit, Bullet’s control over his strength was impeccable.

Blackbeard was still alive—barely.

At least he’d been soaking in seawater for a while now.

Aside from bubbling at the mouth, he seed fine... ish.

Currently, there were only four people on the ship—Blackbeard included.

Crocodile, Jinbe, and Bullet.

Their destination? Marineford, naturally.

One was going to help the Whitebeard Pirates.

One was going to fight the Whitebeard Pirates.

And the last?

Well, he was going to find Vir.

Bullet was a man who followed his whims.

But when it ca to those who had done him a favor, he was unwavering.

Though the only way to earn his gratitude was one thing—

Strength.

His goal this ti was simple:

Find Vir.

And kill whoever wanted Vir dead.

Riding the special currents between Impel Down and Marineford, they’d arrive in half an hour at most.

What?

The Gates of Justice?

Ever heard of Clank-Clank Fruit?

---

anwhile, at Marineford...

The battle was about to erupt.

"Ace!!"

On the Moby Dick, behind Whitebeard, a woman’s voice rang out, grabbing Ace’s attention.

When he saw who it was, his face lit up with disbelief.

"Y-Yamato?!"

His voice was a mix of shock and confusion.

But when he saw the stunning woman waving at him with a bright smile, joy flooded his eyes.

The scene was just like their farewell in Wano.

Except Yamato was still Yamato.

And Ace?

He was kneeling there, battered and bruised.

"Ace!! I’m here to save you!"

Yamato shouted again before—just like Luffy in the original story—she leaped off the ship without hesitation.

She vaulted over the massive fissure and charged straight into the army of Marines.

Ace’s eyes nearly popped out of his skull.

Was she insane?!

Coming alone?

These guys will skin her alive!

"Yamato! You idiot! Don’t just rush in—!"

But it was too late.

Yamato’s eyes were locked on her dear friend—just like how Luffy’s were locked on his brother.

Nearby, Whitebeard couldn’t help but shake his head.

So did Shiki.

These youngsters...

So reckless.

But...

He liked that!

"Gurararara! Boys! Let’s move!"

The mont he spoke, a shockwave blasted past Yamato, flattening the Marines in front of her.

Shiki flicked his wrist—

And the enormous fissure vanished in an instant!

The land was whole again!

"Kill the Marines! Save Ace!"

"Brothers! Kill every last one of these bastards!"

"Charge! Charge! Charge!"

With the overwhelming advantage, the pirates were like n possessed, throwing themselves into the fray without regard for their lives.

Sengoku’s expression darkened.

All his earlier preparations were now useless.

The pirates had reached the plaza with minimal losses.

If not for the Dyna Stone explosives, things would’ve been even worse.

But there was no ti to dwell on it.

It was ti for close-quarters combat!

"All forces! Engage!"

Sengoku transford into his golden Buddha form and swatted away hundreds of pirates in a single strike.

As the pirates surged forward, he roared his command.

In an instant, the two sides clashed.

Akainu tried to rain down hell with teor Volcano before the armies t—

But Marco, wreathed in blue flas, intercepted him.

Though let’s be real—Marco vs. Akainu?

Not a fair fight.

Shiki unleashed a ground-shattering attack—

Only to be blocked by a flash of yellow light.

Instead of frustration, Shiki grinned.

Oh?

So you’re the one who made look bad earlier, huh?

The one who ran away so fast?

A cruel smirk curled on Shiki’s lips.

Safe to say...

Kizaru was in for a rough fight.

anwhile, Whitebeard was held back by Garp and Sengoku.

The area around them was deserted—no one dared approach.

That was a death wish.

Any marine or pirate unlucky enough to be flung into their battlefield was instantly obliterated.

The aftershocks of their battle alone were enough to erase anyone below Vice Admiral rank.

As for Aokiji?

He was the one who stopped Yamato in her tracks.

Less than three minutes into the battle, desperate cries for help were already coming from Kizaru’s direction.

The noise was starting to grate on Aokiji’s nerves.

He’d finally found a decent opponent — but thanks to Kizaru’s performance, he’d probably have to cut this short.

That guy’s endurance was pathetic.

Had it even been five minutes?

Eh, let him suffer a little longer.

Aokiji blocked a Thunder Bagua with his forearm—his previously relaxed expression now tinged with seriousness.

This girl...

She was strong.

Who was she?

He had never seen her before.

She didn’t seem like a Whitebeard pirate, either.

Aokiji frowned but didn’t hold back.

He needed to finish this quickly and bail Kizaru out.

Judging by Kizaru’s screams and the way he kept flashing across the battlefield, crashing into the ground, ti was running out.

If he didn’t step in soon, Kizaru would be ground into dust.

The battlefield was pure chaos.

From a distance, Vir watched with excitent.

Finally, it’s started.

But honestly?

He was a little worried Marineford might sink from all this.

The sheer destructive power of these monsters was terrifying.

Even from here, the tremors were unmistakable.

The sea itself was in constant upheaval.

He needed to move.

Soon, the wounded would start piling up.

If he didn’t hurry, he’d miss the fresh ones—

And be left with cold corpses.

But first, he had to pick soone.

Soone with decent strength—and preferably dical skills—to disguise himself as.

A Marine would be ideal.

That way, he wouldn’t even need to fake an identity later.

He could be a Marine from the start.

Maybe even earn so rits on the battlefield.

Then climb the ranks and personally heal the higher-ups.

Vir glanced at the four beside him.

Luffy’s face was tight with impatience.

"Vir, when are we going?! They’re already fighting!"

"If we’re too late, Ace’ll get killed!"

Looking at Luffy’s frantic expression, Vir could only think one thing:

You being there or not makes zero difference.

This was a battle of monsters.

If Luffy charged in recklessly, he might just die.

Right now, none of his usual protectors were free to shield him.

If an Admiral set their sights on him, he was done.

But seeing Luffy like this, Vir knew there was no stopping him.

With plot armor this thick, he’d probably survive.
