Claire Crowley uttered those words out of sheer anxiety.

She knew all too well that the Lowell Group was most renowned for their expertise in poison and antidotes, and Ivy Kensington, as Evan Lowell’s fiancée, might have so knowledge of these things too.

If Ivy went to see the child, she would surely find out what was really going on.

Therefore, she must not be allowed to go!

Ivy ignored Claire and simply looked pleadingly at Sebastian Blackwood, "Mr. Blackwood, may I?"

Seeing her use such an expression towards Sebastian Blackwood, Claire gritted her teeth in sheer hatred.

This vile woman is seducing n yet again!

"Sebastian, you absolutely cannot agree to her. If she intends to continue harming the child, that would be disastrous..."

Before she could finish her sentence, she saw Sebastian Blackwood nod: "Alright."

What?

Claire stared blankly, and as she processed what had happened, she nearly ground her teeth to bits.

That wretch actually got Sebastian Blackwood to agree!

Ivy hadn’t expected Sebastian Blackwood to be so agreeable either, staying stunned for a second before calming down and following them to the hospital where the child currently was.

Inside the pediatric ward.

The child had already undergone a physical examination, but the results were not out yet.

Seeing the child’s fragile little body lying pitifully on the hospital bed, Ivy felt a sharp pang in her heart.

"Little one."

Unable to hold back, she softly called the child’s nickna and walked over quickly.

Observing Ivy’s behavior, Claire’s heart skipped a beat, while she continued persuading Sebastian Blackwood, "Sebastian, you really can’t let this woman near the child. She will harm the child..."

Sebastian Blackwood’s handso face remained indifferent, his dark eyes fixed on Ivy’s figure.

He was growing more and more suspicious that Lena Vance might actually be Ivy Kensington...

Even though her appearance, build, and voice bore no resemblance to Ivy at all.

But he had a gut feeling!

Ivy paid no mind to what Claire and Sebastian Blackwood were thinking; she diligently perford the examination for the child.

Claire had initially been worried, but now, seeing Ivy remain silent for quite so ti, she gradually relaxed.

This woman might just be clueless!

She probably doesn’t know a thing!

Thinking this, Claire sneered, "Miss Vance, I advise you not to pretend you know what you’re doing here. If you delay the child’s treatnt, you won’t be able to compensate for it."

As soon as she finished her sentence, Ivy withdrew her gaze from the child and spoke confidently, "The child hasn’t been poisoned at all!"

Sebastian Blackwood’s eyes narrowed slightly, glancing over at her.

Ivy continued, "The child was fed an etic."

Good heavens!

That vile woman actually found out?

Claire’s heart imdiately filled with panic; how could Ivy know this...

"What nonsense are you talking about? How could anyone feed the child an etic? Clearly, it’s you who secretly fed the child that ss of toxic substances from the Lowell Group, and now you’re intentionally claiming it was an etic."

Claire loudly retorted.

Ivy looked at her with a mocking smile, "Why is Miss Crowley so agitated? I rely said a single sentence."

As for the child being given an etic, Ivy had deduced that from the sll of the milk vomited by the child.

These past few months, she had been confined on a deserted island with all sorts of herbs, honing her ability to discern scents.

She had rely taken a sniff to identify the scent of the etic.

Now the reason for the child’s vomiting was clear!

With this realization, Ivy’s sharp gaze stabbed at Claire like a sword, stating firmly, "Miss Crowley, you’re probably the only one who has access to that etic."

Claire felt a jolt of panic in her heart and before she could rebut, she heard Ivy continue with the next sentence...
