Xiangying Tian’s words struck Liu Xuan, leaving his face ghostly pale.
Jiang Hao, upon hearing this, was taken aback.
Yet, he had never aspired to be the class monitor. As he was about to decline with grace, the entire Grade 12 Class 8 chid in with a resounding “No!” followed by a round of applause.
Confronted with their trusting gazes, Jiang Hao found himself unable to voice his refusal.
It was then that Xiangying Tian allowed himself a small smile.
“Jiang Hao, the class clearly has faith in you, so I’m going to rely on you for the upcoming ten days!”

Before long, the issue was resolved.
Liu Xuan was stripped of his monitor duties and subjected to a session of ideological education with Xiangying Tian.
Jiang Hao, unexpectedly, stepped into the role of temporary monitor for Grade 12 Class 8.
Calm was restored.
And so, the days ticked by.
Sunday arrived.
On this day, Jiang Hao and his classmates finally enjoyed a well-deserved day off.
Early that morning, unable to stay still, Jiang’s father and mother rose to start their day at the restaurant.
Concerned for his parents’ restlessness and safety, Jiang Hao had suggested they rent a storefront, and thus, the restaurant was born.
After his usual early rise, Jiang Hao decided to join his parents at the noodle shop.
Jiang’s father and mother would have preferred him to stay ho and study, but Jiang Hao knew his own situation best.
He didn’t need to study.
With a few parting instructions to Jiang Zixuan, the trio set out.
They arrived at the Jiang Family restaurant in no ti.
The morning crowd was bustling, but as the restaurant was new to the area, business was slow to start.
Undeterred, Jiang’s mother began prepping ingredients, Jiang’s father set to work on the noodles, and Jiang Hao pitched in where he could.
It was during this familiar routine that Jiang Hao’s thoughts drifted to the God Chef skill he’d shelved since leveling up to tier two.
An irresistible urge to cook surged within him!
After upgrading his God Chef skill to the second level, there seed to be no noticeable change. When he had asked the system for guidance, it had cryptically suggested he discover the nuances on his own.
And now, what better chance to explore than this?
With that thought, Jiang Hao turned to his father, who was nearby.
“Dad, let take over. You take a break!”
Jiang’s father didn’t object and handed the cooking utensils to Jiang Hao.
“Alright, you handle it. I’ll go tidy up the table outside.”
He had complete confidence in his son’s cooking prowess.
Once Jiang’s father had left, Jiang Hao grasped the utensils and began to expertly maneuver them.
In no ti, a bowl of delicately prepared noodles was ready, emitting a unique and exceptionally delightful aroma that filled the air.
Jiang Hao, pleased with the scent, took a mont to appreciate his work.
But as he looked down at the bowl of noodles, he was taken aback to see a row of tiny characters floating above it:
“Fragrance 5!”
The sight left Jiang Hao dumbfounded.
“What in the world is happening?”
He rubbed his eyes, suspecting an illusion.
Yet, when he looked again, the mysterious text remained.
Suddenly, Jiang Hao was astounded. It was as if his dish had taken on video ga-like attributes.
“Holy smokes, does my cooking actually have attributes now?”
Shaking off his surprise, Jiang Hao quickly reached out to the system with his mind.
“System, can you explain what’s happening here?”
No sooner had Jiang Hao spoken than the system’s robotic voice responded.
“Ding! Host, there’s no cause for alarm. This is indeed the transformation that cos with being a Second Grade God Chef!”
