C135 – Mysterious
Just as he was about to question the two security guards, the child who had been watching him approached with a smile and uttered a sentence that left him astonished.
“You’re the one Miss Xue sent to pick up, aren’t you?”
“Oh, right, I forgot to introduce myself. My na’s Jiang Hao!”
“Shall we go?”
With that, Jiang Hao brushed past the dumbfounded Su Jiuhui and the two astounded security guards, striding confidently through the doorway!
As he walked by the guards, Jiang Hao even gave a playful pat to the one who had almost written his na incorrectly!
In that mont, Su Jiuhui snapped back to reality, recalling Xue Zixi’s instructions. He quickly caught up, his face etched with regret as he spoke.
“My apologies, Mr. Jiang. I was short-sighted. Please forgive my oversight.
“I am Su Jiuhui, the General Manager of the S District at Heavenly-Mansion Tavern!”
Suddenly, Su Jiuhui turned sharply to the two security guards beside him.
“You two, apologize to Mr. Jiang at once!”
The security guards, still reeling from their surprise at Jiang Hao’s modest attire, couldn’t believe their boss was treating this seemingly unassuming young man with such deference.
But Jiang Hao simply gestured dismissively.
“There’s no need, Manager Su! They were just doing their job. It’s my fault for forgetting my card.
“Let’s not keep Miss Xue waiting any longer, shall we?”
With that, Jiang Hao entered the Heavenly-Mansion Tavern, with Su Jiuhui quickly following to show the way.
Once Jiang Hao had gone, the two security guards exchanged a stunned glance, their eyes wide with disbelief.
“Dude, was he for real?”
“It seems so, yeah!”

For Jiang Hao, this was all just a minor episode, hardly worth dwelling on.
Led by Su Jiuhui, Jiang Hao arrived at an exquisitely decorated, opulent, and distinguished private room.
Upon entering, he was greeted by the sight of Xue Zixi.
Hearing the noise, Xue Zixi looked up, saw Jiang Hao, and promptly rose to welco him with a warm smile.
“Mr. Jiang, welco!”
She greeted Jiang Hao while simultaneously giving instructions to Su Jiuhui, who stood by her side.
“CEO Su, let’s get the ball rolling. Ti to serve the dishes!”
“Understood!”
Su Jiu was about to depart when Jiang Hao interjected.
“Hold on!”
Both Xue Zixi and Su Jiuhui turned back, with Xue Zixi expressing her surprise.
“Mr. Jiang, do you have any further requests?”
Jiang Hao gave Xue Zixi a glance and, with a hint of mystery, began to speak.
“Miss Xue, could you please have the kitchen whip up so vegetarian dishes using cabbage, chili peppers, cucumbers, tomatoes, and chives?
It’s closely related to the business proposition I have for you today!”
Xue Zixi’s interest was piqued at once.
“Oh, in that case…”
“CEO Su, please relay Mr. Jiang’s request to the kitchen.”
“Right away, Miss!”
Su Jiu departed, and Xue Zixi, catching sight of the bulging bag next to Jiang Hao, raised an eyebrow in curiosity.
She settled back into her seat, her gaze fixed on Jiang Hao with a touch of curiosity.
“Mr. Jiang, you ntioned you had a business matter to discuss?”
Jiang Hao, seeing Xue Zixi’s curiosity sparked by his earlier comnt, continued with an air of secrecy.
“Miss Xue, patience is a virtue. Let’s wait for the dishes to arrive. I assure you, the business deal I have in mind won’t leave you disappointed!”
Xue Zixi’s curiosity was indeed captured by Jiang Hao’s enigmatic deanor.
“Oh, when did Mr. Jiang start playing the man of mystery?”
Jiang Hao simply smiled, offering no reply.
Seeing this, Xue Zixi chose not to pry further.
After a lengthy pause, Jiang Hao, seemingly out of nowhere, inquired.
“Miss Xue, there’s a restroom here, isn’t there?”
