Monty followed Sophia into her apartnt. Imdiately after the door was closed, Monty’s playful manner turned serious. She looked fiercely at Sophia. She said, "Tell the truth," "What is going on? What is the duration of your involvent in this matter?

Sophia was stunned by Monty’s frank questions. She tried to avoid talking about it. In an attempt to sound casual, she stated, "There is nothing going on." "We just talk as we always do. Furthermore, I do not find Adam attractive. How many tis do I have to tell you that?

Monty rely grinned. It was a smile of knowing. Her response was, "I do not think so," "I have never seen you so curious about anyone else."

Sophia reddened. She averted her eyes from Monty’s piercing stare. "It is because he is so hardworking," she stated. Even she thought the excuse sounded weak.

Monty chuckled. According to her, "a lot of people are hardworking," "That is not it."

Sophia gently pulled Monty away. She declared, "I do not want to talk about this," To change her clothes, she fled into the restroom.

To herself, Monty grinned. She addressed the bathroom door that was closed, saying, "I know you are starting to have feelings for Adam," "Just rember if sothing happens between you two you have to tell ." There was no response from the restroom. Grinning once more, she walked out of the flat, gently shutting the door behind her.

Within the restroom Sophia propped herself up against the door. Her heart was pounding rapidly. Monty was correct. She was beginning to feel sothing for Adam. She was no longer able to ignore it.

Since the beginning, she had been attracted to him. His mournful eyes, his unwavering work ethic, and his quiet drive. She was drawn in by sothing about him.

She had attempted to brush it off as admiration. However, it went beyond that. She was concerned about him. She was concerned about him. Additionally, she had not anticipated feeling jealous after witnessing him converse with another girl, even for a little minute.

She turned to face her image in the mirror. She had a red face. She had brilliant eyes. She did not understand. She was unsure of how to respond to these novel emotions. Adam was quite quiet.

He seed to push her away all the ti. He appeared receptive to speaking for a mont. He was fleeing from her the next mont. The dance was perplexing and frustrating.

With a sigh, she began getting ready for Tony’s birthday party. For the mont, she had to set her feelings for Adam aside. However, she was aware that this was only the start. Things were going to get much more tricky for her in Viper City. And much more fascinating.

She rely wished that she could successfully negotiate the rough seas of her own heart. It was not going to be simple, she sensed. However, nothing had ever been in her life. Thus, she would approach this new task with the sa quiet resolve that she used to everything else. She would find a solution for Adam. In one way or another.

Within the restroom Sophia gazed at the image of herself in the mirror. All of her cheeks were flushed. She addressed her reflection while glancing at her own red face.

The statent, "I do not have any feelings for Adam," was blunt. Then she inserted a query. "Right?" The final syllable was uttered softly. Her expression was one of intense bewildernt. The truth is, she had no idea what was going on within her own heart. In an attempt to calm herself, she sprayed her face with cold water.

The scene changes. Adam had been in a good mood. He experienced a feeling of mastery. He had a strategy. Then Robin, that youngster, showed up. Adam knew almost nothing about Robin. He had no idea what his na was. But his whole evening had been spoilt by seeing him. His mouth tasted harsh from jealousy. He desired to try sothing different. Sothing to divert his attention from these annoying emotions. He strolled down the street without a purpose.

He noticed so schoolchildren passing by. Their uniforms were nice and neat, and they were chatting and joking. Adam froze at the sight of them. He recalled his previous actions. Yes, he had said to Sophia. He had accepted her school’s teaching position. He felt the revelation strike him like a blow to the body.

He questioned, "What have I done?" A wave of terror swept over him. He was unable to instruct. He dropped out of high school. He was unqualified. He was inexperienced. He had committed a horrible error because he had been so consud by his jealously of Robin.

Then he thought of sothing else. A reassuring idea. He recalled a day when he was in dire need of employnt. He had made every effort. He had submitted applications to nurous jobs.

Every single one had turned him down. Here, he was certain, the sa thing would occur. Upon observing his lack of qualifications, the school’s principal would promptly dismiss him. He would be spared the direct rejection of Sophia’s offer. It would sort itself out. He felt at peace with this thinking. He inhaled deeply. He was at ease once more. He kept walking while thinking about what he could do with his money.
