Just as she hung up the phone and walked out of the phone booth, ng Qingxue had turned up looking for her and finally spotted her next to the booth. She imdiately called out, “Chu He!”
Chu He heard her voice and looked over. She saw ng Qingxue running towards her taking tiny steps, with Mu Yanchen behind her.
She raised her eyebrows and turned around. When she saw ng Qingxue panting from the effort, she rebuked, “Why are you in such a hurry? It’s not as though I’ll go into hiding whenever I see you.”
“Why are you walking around instead of resting in the ward?”
Chu He laughed. “I’ve almost recovered. I can be discharged after the stitches are removed.”
Mu Yanchen was surprised to hear this.
“You’ve only just had surgery, how can you be so sure that you’ve almost recovered?”
Chu He glanced at him and smiled. “I’m an Interpol officer, and I’ve suffered countless injuries. I’m well aware of my ability to recover. The doctors don’t know as much as I do.”

ng Qingxue did not believe her. She imdiately took Chu He to the doctor’s duty room to inquire about the situation. After a round of examination, the doctor was completely shocked.
Thinking that the situation had worsened, ng Qingxue anxiously asked for clarification.
The doctor said in surprise, “You recovered so quickly?!”
“Uh huh.”
“Has this always been the case?”
The doctor was still doubtful.
Even an immortal would not have recovered so quickly, right?
Besides, it was obvious that she was just a normal human being. Normal people would need at least a week to recover from a surgery like this, and half a month before they could move around freely.
She had been walking around since the second day after the surgery. It had only been a few days since the surgery, but she had already gone strolling outside the hospital building.

“Chu He, how did your body turn out like this? If I had a physique like yours, I wouldn’t be in such a sorry state after getting pregnant!”
Chu He smiled. “I was soaked in seawater for two whole days when I was pregnant and I was fine. Everyone’s physique is different, that’s all!”
When ng Qingxue heard this, she was stunned for a mont before pulling her aside.
“Do you really recall everything?”
“Uh huh.”
“Well, can I ask you sothing then? Soone said you were floating over the ocean when you were found. What the hell happened?”
Chu He was briefly stunned before she suddenly said, “There was an accident and the car fell into the ocean. There was ergency equipnt in the car. I relied on those equipnt to float at sea for an entire night.”
“...”
“Perhaps I was lucky enough to not have drifted too far away. Anyway, through so sort of coincidence, I was discovered by those villagers later.”
“Chu He... your life... you’re really too lucky! You even managed to escape from a car that had fallen into the sea!” ng Qingxue exclaid with sincere admiration.
As Chu He walked out of the doctor’s office, she turned around to look at ng Qingxue and Mu Yanchen. She smiled and said unhurriedly, “So the two of you have reconciled?”
Mu Yanchen’s expression turned awkward.
