The hunter had always been looking down, cautious of the terrain beneath them, and had never looked up ahead.

When he opened his eyes and looked carefully again, there was no mistake, the mountain seed further away, and even his vision was starting to blur.

“I’m not sure, but what you saw just now probably wasn’t a mountain at all, but rather an illusion ford by mountain mist. That’s why, the more we walk towards it, the further it seems because the mist is constantly spreading.”

At that mont, the hunter suddenly lowered his voice and then pointed straight ahead.
They turned around slowly to look and saw sothing black in front of them, with two objects resembling small lanterns swinging back and forth.
Without a doubt, seeing such things in this environnt ant they were likely facing so kind of ferocious beast or monster.
“Damn, that one seems to be quite big.”

The initial idea was for everyone to back out step by step, just like they had dealt with the previous prey. But then they noticed the large creatures suddenly began to move quickly.
