Based on the two points that can be completed, an additional task can be added: investigating Jinnie's background, her social circle, and so on. Since this is the first ti I've t this Jinnie, I don't have her background information at hand yet. If you have any information, please notify . Understood?

Daniel: "OK, I want to ask, is there anything special here? Are there any ard individuals?"

Jimmy: "We haven't determined the exact nature of the incident yet. At the very least, it's a murder, but it could potentially escalate to a terrorist attack. Do we need to prepare support forces in advance?"

Daniel was shocked, his eyes widened as he looked at his two companions, then turned to Jimmy: "I think it would be best to have support. All three of us are intelligence officers, not field agents."

Jimmy nodded: "I understand. However, I need to go back to the office now. If I am available later, I will co to support you. If not, I will request others to support you. Please prepare personal defense weapons in advance."

Daniel nodded emphatically: "I understand. Let's start now. Brothers, open the weapon packs, and get ready."

Jimmy: "Goodbye, Daniel."

Jimmy turned and left the surveillance van, looked around, and then got into his car to head back to the office.

Jimmy didn't go back to his own office, but instead went straight to where Hughes was. He had received a call from Hughes on the way there, and although Chris had already explained the situation, Hughes wanted Jimmy to relate it again in detail, even placing a phone call on speaker for Jimmy to give his account.

This ti, Jimmy gave a very detailed account, starting from when he and Chris went to the NYPD and discovered that there could be unusual aspects to the case, to returning to check the data, then to eting Jinnie, and even including the last communication with the surveillance personnel. He casually asked Hughes to assign a Support Team to Daniel and his team, just in case this was indeed a big catch and the three surveillance officers alone couldn't ensure their own safety.

After Jimmy finished, Hughes spoke to the person on the other end of the call: "Did you get all of that?"

The voice of a man from the phone answered: "Got it, but these materials alone are not enough, Hughes. This is not sufficient to initiate an ergency action plan; we need more clues."

Hughes: "This is all we have for now. We still need to get all the relevant case files and docunts from the NYPD to continue the verification process."

"Notify once you have further news. I have a Support Team on standby for you, and they will head to New York imdiately if there's any news. That's all for now."

The call was hung up, Hughes pressed down the phone, and said to Chris: "Chris, go and retrieve the case files. If you need anyone else, I'll have them co back to assist you."

Chris: "No need for the mont. We'll first check the existing leads after retrieving the case files. However, you need to give the NYPD a heads-up in advance."

Hughes nodded, Chris looked at Jimmy: "Jimmy, you go back first."

Jimmy nodded and turned to leave.

Chris: "Hughes, this case won't be resolved quickly. I feel that if we rely only on ourselves, it's difficult to guarantee tiliness. As you know, I dread to imagine the worst-case scenario."

Hughes looked at Chris: "No can do, I can't contact them. I can only go through D.C.; otherwise, we won't get their support."

Chris: "We have to try. Even if there's only a one percent chance, we should handle it as a major threat."

Hughes thought for a while, then nodded, "I'll try getting in touch. You go ahead with the case files."

Chris nodded and left. He didn't return to the office, but went straight to the NYPD to retrieve the case files and docunts. Normally, the NYPD would deliver them to the FBI, but there was no ti to wait, and it would be faster to fetch them himself.

Back in his office, Jimmy knew that with Hughes arranging the Support Team, the surveillance side didn't need his consideration anymore; it was a good opportunity for him to rest. Checking the ti, Jimmy went downstairs, bought a burger, and brought it back to eat. He didn't feel like having much for lunch, just sothing to tide him over so he could be energized for handling the case in the afternoon.

In the afternoon, Chris returned, followed by several uniford NYPD officers pushing several boxes into Chris's office before excusing themselves and departing.

Chris: "Jimmy, co and help sort this out."

Opening the boxes, Jimmy and Chris started taking out the evidence. Fortunately, the office space was large enough that they placed the evidence on the floor, all sealed in evidence bags, so there was no worry of dust contamination.

Having taken out the evidence, next ca the case files. Besides the summary versions they had previously seen at the police station, there were also separate reports from various agencies, making the collected information quite comprehensive.

This ti, Chris acted as a hands-off manager, tossing all the case files and archives to Jimmy to handle. Jimmy looked at Chris with resignation, questioning how such a critical case could be simply thrown in his lap again. What Jimmy didn't know was that Chris had already communicated with Hughes about getting external support. While it was not guaranteed, at least it could save the two of them a lot of ti.

Jimmy continued examining the case files, cross-referencing Ashi's personal items. Indeed, there were no signs of the laptop and recording pen Jinnie had ntioned; even the notepad was missing. Theoretically, if he had forgotten a notebook at ho, he would definitely have bought a temporary one to use in the anti. What kind of journalist wouldn't have pen and paper? When Jimmy was a police officer, he always carried a notepad and pen as well.

It was clear that whoever was behind this case was very skilled, cleaning up with no obvious leads pointing to anything.
