She was never one to play by the rules; whenever she got upset, she liked to stir up trouble. From the very first mont she saw Roy Yarn, she had already calculated her moves for today.

Roy Yarn, though a bit introverted and simple, wasn’t actually stupid.

The reason he believed Louis Snyder in the original story was purely because of his character, feeling guilty, and intended to make ands to Snyder.

But Louis Snyder stubbornly took all these as signs of the Yarn Family’s guilty conscience.

Even when he later learned the truth, that everything was his own mother’s fault, he didn’t feel the slightest bit guilty.

For him, the Yarn Family was a significant boost, enough for him to beco an equal rival to George River and Jimmy Simmons, never to be looked down upon again.

Roy Yarn suggested taking Hannah back to the film crew, but Hannah simply turned her head to look out the window.

This winter seed to have more snowy days than usual; the sun was shining brightly just a while ago, but now the ground was covered with a thick layer of snow.

In a blanket of white, the black luxury car across the street stood out strikingly.

The man, clad in a long black coat and holding an umbrella, seed to have been standing in the snow for a long ti.

His overly refined and handso face attracted many sidelong glances, but the chill and indifference in his eyes made people dare not look too long and quickly avert their gaze.

Roy Yarn recognized the influential but intimidating head of the Simmons Family with just one glance.

He wasn’t afraid of him, since the Yarn Family had long since settled down and didn’t focus much on business matters anymore.

He was only concerned about one thing.

"Does he really treat you well?"

Roy Yarn gazed intently at Hannah across the way, fearing he would see a trace of lying or sadness on her face.

Fortunately, there was none.

Hannah was still smiling charmingly, "Of course he treats well. I doubt there is anyone in this world who could be better to than he is."

As she spoke, her expression was playful and spoiled, like a wildly growing rose, lush and vibrant, yet inherently pure.

Roy Yarn was montarily lost in thought, then hesitantly said, "That’s good."

"He loves ," Hannah added. "Truly."

Roy Yarn seed to breathe a sigh of relief, a genuine smile appearing on his face, "As long as you’re happy, that’s all that matters."

The seemingly quiet and introverted person, who had looked almost like a schoolboy, suddenly seed to have grown up with these words, turning into a caring older brother protecting his sister.

Roy Yarn fell silent, simply watching the girl next to him walk step by step towards the man across the street.

Watching her fall into that man’s embrace.

He could tell that Arnold Simmons really loved her.

A thick layer of snow had accumulated on the umbrella, which gently fell off with a shake.

He must have been standing there since Hannah had entered the building.

The man was surrounded by a cold aura, appearing even more icy and solitary. Like a pool of chilly water in the biting winter, encapsulated with the endless darkness of the night.

Not until she arrived did it dissipate again.

Hannah breathed warmly into her hands and rubbed them before pressing them onto the man’s face, chilly to the touch.

"Have you been waiting long?"

Arnold Simmons shook his head, drew Hannah’s hand into his chest, and neatly arranged her slightly unruly hair, speaking gently, "Just got here."

After he spoke, his gaze shifted to the young man standing still across the road.

Hannah also looked over, flashed a smile at Roy Yarn, and waved at him, signaling for him to hurry back.
