He was about to say sothing when soone at the filming site called him over for help.

"Okay, I’ll be right there."

The assistant shouted back, holding the clothes and hesitating about where to place them, when a hand reached out from the other side.

Louis Snyder smiled, his black hair tousled, revealing a pair of clean, clear eyes, "You don’t mind if I hold them for a while, do you?"

eting the boy’s clearly defined eyes, the assistant hesitated, sensing sothing was off, but the call for him was urgent, and he had no ti to think before handing the clothes into Louis’s arms.

"Then I’ll trouble you, Sister Winter said these clothes are for brand photoshoots demanding everyday pictures, make sure to keep an eye on them, don’t let sand get inside."

Having said that, he hurriedly ran toward the shooting location.

The clothes carried the sa scent as Hannah’s, though faint, so faint it seed like it would dissipate with a blow of wind, prompting Louis to keep tightening his arms around them.

Until the clothes pressed fully against his chest, like so sort of pathological comfort.

Almost greedily.

Nobody noticed Louis’s odd behavior as they were all busy discussing gossip.

"It must have been the day before yesterday, the day it rained, you know George River, the handso and wealthy President of Prideful Entertainnt. I think I saw him and Hannah together."

"Are you sure you saw that right?"

"No mistake, I saw it too, and it seed like Best Actor Qualls was there as well."

"A love triangle, perhaps? Shouldn’t be, right? I’ve never heard any rumors about Hannah. I always thought she was a good person – attractive too. I don’t know why the cyberbullies are so malicious."

Soone noticed Louis’s silence and, worried he felt left out, deliberately threw a question to him, "Louis, do you know about this?"

Louis pursed his lips, "They’re not involved, I was there that day too. If Sister knew you were talking like this, she would be very upset."

The group realized their mistake and dropped the topic.

Watching as the conversation shifted, a trace of scornful chilliness crossed Louis’s eyes before he looked towards where Hannah was, and then that chilliness disappeared.

lting into a tender fondness.

By the ti the shooting wrapped up, it was already evening.

The assistant had gone out to buy sothing for Hannah, leaving the door not properly closed.

Hannah sat in front of the mirror, wearing loose clothes, her face makeup-free, her soft black hair cascading down and accentuating her snow-white profile like a languorous cat.

She lazily looked up, expecting the boy’s reflection in the mirror, and continued assessing which earrings looked better, "You picked an inconvenient ti to co today."

The boy stood in the half-light, his gaze fixed on the person before the mirror, his voice soft, revealing his good-naturedness, "But don’t we et every evening?"

His gaze was innocent, yet the words he spoke carried an ambiguous tone.

Hannah set down the pearl earrings in her hand, turning to look at him, "That’s because you choose to co."

She stood up and walked over to sit elsewhere.

Louis’s gaze closely followed her dainty figure, delicate as a willow, always fearing that with a blink, she might disappear.

Ever since that day, he had been plagued by such thoughts.

The boy moved forward to sit beside her, but at a light look from Hannah, he changed direction and sat opposite her, "It’s because Sister didn’t have the heart to see always squatting at the door waiting for you."

He almost always tid it perfectly every day.
