Teresa Gordon had long seen through the eting room, letting them argue among themselves.
As everyone argued, presumably, their wires got crossed. It wasn’t about confronting Hannah anymore; the crux of the debate had shifted to making Hannah give up that one song.
It seed as though everyone had already settled that Hannah couldn’t refuse to give up the song.
But in reality, aside from Jas Landon and Hannah, no one knew the content and lody of those two songs.
Yet everyone seed to be quite happy arguing.
As Hannah’s good friend, Lucy Taylor naturally had not participated in the whole process. She had reposted Jas Landon’s update as soon as it went live.
Obviously, it was to congratulate Hannah on her song release.
Unexpectedly, even Christopher Lee had reposted this update early this morning.
Therefore, both of their fans hadn’t been as excited to take part in this event.
At the height of the argunt, everyone finally realized that the main party hadn’t spoken a word, and they all turned to look, "Hannah Winter, shouldn’t you make a statent by now?"
For a mont, it was as if the air had stopped flowing.
All eyes fell on Hannah, who sat in the main seat, looking hungry. Perhaps blinded by greed, everyone’s gaze brimd with undisguised calculations.
The junior assistant, witnessing such a scene for the first ti, began to regret not waiting outside for others.
Hannah’s gaze swept over everyone’s faces, her eyes filled with mirth, her aura serene, yet strangely conveying a tense sense of oppression.
"I say, do you all love to speak for yourselves?" She smiled, her words light as a feather, "Why should I give away my things for free to you?"
A sudden guilt overtook everyone as they rembered the scene of Hannah confronting Tiffany Lynch. For a mont, nobody dared to speak.
Tiffany Lynch cursed everyone silently for being useless. She had painstakingly orchestrated this, fanned the fans’ emotions, all for today. And now, to her dismay, they were all feigning ignorance!
In the end, it was Tiffany Lynch who personally took the field. "For a team, looking out for each other should be quite normal, right?"
"How about this," Hannah began, "Since everyone is free at the mont, let’s have an internal face-off. Singing and dancing are both fine." She paused, "After I’ve had a look, the winner might just get the chance to perform a duet with ."
She smiled, bearing a resemblance to an ancient emperor selecting a consort.
People exchanged looks; so were tempted, others were annoyed.
"Hannah Winter, are you playing us for fools?"
Hannah’s smile suddenly faded, she stood up, and the sense of pressure she emanated intensified, her voice calm, "I’ve given you the opportunity, it’s you who didn’t want it, so don’t argue in my presence again. If you’re really that capable, start another live broadcast and argue there in front of everyone."
"So you’re disregarding all our camaraderie."
Hannah put on her sunglasses, her lips curled into a cold smile, "What camaraderie? The kind where we can’t stand the sight of each other?"
Her queenly deanor was so compelling it made the assistant feel like applauding.
After speaking, her eyes fell on Tiffany Lynch, her gaze filled with mirth yet unfathomable, sending a chill through the onlookers.
Tiffany Lynch dropped her pretense of gentle elegance and sneered, shifting her gaze away.
Just as she was about to leave, Heather Harrison suddenly shouted, "Hannah Winter! Are you really thinking of going solo?"
Hannah turned around, facing the light. Her smile was particularly dazzling, "That’s a good suggestion, I’ve indeed been considering it."
That simple sentence, upon reaching everyone’s ears, sounded alarm bells.
They knew too well the significance of Hannah for Smile 9; she undoubtedly deserved the center spot.
