What should I call him?

He couldn’t hear clearly, as if several strains of consciousness were tangled and pulling at each other.

Tears slipped from the corners of his eyes, he opened his eyes and stared at the pure white ceiling. His voice was hoarse, "Hannah..."

Does he not want Vincent anymore?

A dark fog seed to hang in the man’s eyes.

*

Arnold Simmons had just hung up the phone when he heard the escalating screams coming from outside.

Even in the daylight, the flashes were still dazzling, causing many passersby to close their eyes instinctively and keep away from this group of fanatics.

But upon hearing the na being shouted by the crowd, they couldn’t resist moving closer.

"It’s Hannah Winter! I heard she will be returning from her tour via our airport today, I didn’t expect it to be true!"

"Oh my god, hurry up and look, I heard Hannah is even more beautiful in person than on TV, I must see her with my own eyes today!"

"Hurry, otherwise you won’t get a spot!"

A few won jostled past an unassuming luxury car.

Through the glass, Arnold could see the excitent on their faces clearly.

This excitent was naturally directed at his little lady.

Even if they were mostly girls, it did not stop Second Young Master Simmons from feeling a sense of jealousy, as if he was being supplanted.

After the talent show, Hannah’s popularity rose instead of declining, with invitations for appearances booked till next year, and work piling up every day.

The ti she spent with him lessened as a result.

The man withdrew his gaze, his hand lightly resting on the armrest, a dark watch on his wrist reflecting a cold light, adding to his steady and noble deanor.

The car was very quiet, so much so that it seed like one could hear the ticking of a clock.

Thump, thump, thump——

The soft, dull knocking sound broke the silence.

Arnold turned around, only to be t with a pair of pure, gleaming eyes filled with laughter, curved like a crescent moon, as if they could lt one’s heart.

The heavy, ink-black color in the man’s eyes slowly spread out, finally revealing a soft tenderness.

"Arnold, open the door."

The young lady mouthed silently, her two slender eyebrows knitted together, like a red plum blooming in snow.

The massive crowd behind her seed to beco her backdrop.

The man lifted the corners of his mouth.

The clamor outside only lasted for a mont, followed by the next second when he was enveloped by her softness.

And her coquettish complaint, "It’s so hot outside. I thought it was autumn. Why is the sun so big? I was about to get scorched."

The air conditioning was on in the car, the temperature wasn’t too high, and compared to the sweltering outdoors, the inside of the car seed like heaven.

Hannah nestled in Arnold’s arms, her fingers tightly clutching the button of his shirt, greedily enjoying the traces of coldness, as she let out a comfortable sigh.

Arnold let Hannah sit in his lap, reaching up to stroke her fluffy hair, which was warm and slightly hot.

Perhaps it was due to the sun.

"Did you just co here like this?"

Hannah snuggled up to him, wrapping her arms tightly around his neck, rubbing her head against his face, "No, I arranged everything. No one will realize I am missing."

Arnold turned his head to look at her, only to see his little lady winking at him mischievously.

Outside, the earth-shaking shouts seed to show no sign of abating.

All sorts of paparazzi were still "battling" on the front line, wishing they could just throw their weapons at her.

The person in the center of the crowd, cloaked in a baseball cap, mask, and sunglasses, was bending her head to avoid the hands that were haphazardly reaching out from all directions.
