"...When I first started out, wasn’t I also called nothing but a pretty face? But look at now, I’m as happy as can be."
His intention was to comfort Hannah by laughing at his own shortcomings, but gradually he noticed that the look in her eyes seed a bit too... fiery?
"That’s great."
She cradled her head, her eyes falling on Hayes’ face. The indoor light poured from above into those deep brown eyes, shimring with reflected light.
Hayes inhaled sharply, hurriedly looking elsewhere, his ears burning, "What’s so great?"
Hannah sighed, "They could actually complint with ’you have nothing but a beautiful face.’ This is essentially the highest praise for one’s beauty."
Hayes widened his eyes, wondering if he had misheard.
In the next mont, he heard Hannah add, "Why doesn’t anyone complint like that?"
Complints are like sugar, too much and it leaves a sickly taste. If there was a hater saying, "you’re nothing but a pretty face," it would probably be like the first bayberry of sumr.
Sour, sweet, and all the more pleasant.
Hayes swallowed, and gently pressed his hand against Hannah’s forehead, cautious as he speaks, "Are you maybe just too nervous because this is your first ti on such a big stage?"
Hannah swatted his hand away, humming, "I’m doing great. I wake up every day and see my beautiful face first thing, you don’t even know how happy that makes ."
She stood up and went over to sit in front of a mirror, thought for a mont, and then snapped a photo to upload on her blog.
Within monts, she received more than a thousand comnts.
At the front of the line are always fans with varying lengths of complints, so even accompanied by cute emoticons.
The comnts section of the fandom was put to good use by Hannah’s fans.
Unfortunately, no matter how hard she looked, Hannah couldn’t find a single hater "complinting" her for being nothing more than a pretty face.
There were, however, similar comnts.
— How did these idols get popular? Is it just because of their looks?
— I never thought even an award-winning actor would fall for this kind of woman, has he lost his integrity?
— Wake up, people. The actor is only 26 this year, where did you get the idea of lost integrity?
And many more like these, so many you’d lose count, but soon these comnts were buried by fans’ complints.
Seeing that Hannah wasn’t paying attention to him and was engrossed in her phone, Hayes felt disgruntled. "Hey, Hannah Winter, I’ve arranged for a schedule. Next week, I’ll be a guest on your show."
Hannah didn’t look up, "You’re going, too?"
"Too? Who else is going?" Hayes perked up, "Is it Jackie Qualls?"
Hannah nodded, "This is shaping up to be quite the party. You make it a full table for Mahjong."
Hayes began to worry for Hannah. "The internet will surely be abuzz with you two, no good, I need to reschedule. Ideally, I want to be on the sa episode as Jackie - if that’s not possible, I’ll make a generous gift of one episode!"

At half past seven in the evening, there was ten minutes left before they took the stage.
As the first performance of Smile 9 on stage as a group, it attracted attention. Plus, the fact that they were going live with all mics on made many people ready to criticize.
For a song of three minutes and forty-six seconds, Hannah accounted for major part of it, with Lucy’s rap parts, they had a lion’s share.
However, no one would object this ti. No one wanted to steal this kind of lilight because it’s a live performance with all mics on. An accidental slip-up could really make you lose face.
