She felt miserable inside and teared up, "Jackie, why... why are you so cold to ? We were good... friends before."
She paused, only uttering those two words, her voice very soft.
Jackie Qualls didn’t react, as always, he maintained his gentle and polite deanor, "As you’ve said, that was in the past."
One sentence, and the woman was instantly reduced to tears.
She covered her face helplessly, sobbing painfully, "Jackie, I truly don’t want our relationship to be as it is now. You don’t know how jealous I feel when I see you being so intimate with Hannah."
It had always been more natural for Jackie to be close to her, they had virtually no intersection with Hannah Winter before.
But why did everything change after just one show?
Looking at the person sobbing before him, Jackie felt a pang of lancholy. However, there were things he could never forget in his lifeti, "Tiffany, you already have enough."
There were always people around Tiffany Lynch who treated her well.
Being born under a lucky star, she was like a princess that everyone held in high esteem, and never truly had any worries.
But what she wanted always seed never enough.
Tiffany just shook her head, her almond eyes full of affection, her tear-streaked face making her look even more fragile, "Jackie, it’s not like that. Although George treats very well, I always feel... sothing is different."
She lifted her head, her eyes brimming with tears, looking at the man in front of her, her heart stirred again.
As a star actor, Jackie Qualls, whether in terms of temperant or appearance, was practically perfect. Especially when he wore ancient costus, it was even more heart-stirring.
The man’s eyes showed a flicker of emotion, as if contemplating sothing, the distance on his face had dissipated. Taking this as a signal, Tiffany thought that she had touched the man’s heart, but the smile had barely appeared on her face when she heard him say another sentence.
"That’s your own problem."
Having said that, the man turned around without hesitation and left.
When he left, the surroundings beca entirely silent.
Tiffany stared in the direction where he left, tears still on her face, but her eyes were devoid of the tenderness from before.
The midday sun was blinding, the relentless cicadas soon becoming a nuisance, as though they were evaporating the moisture in the air.
Petals fell to the ground, cruelly trampled into the dirt, their pure white muddied.
"Miss Lynch, there you are, the director is calling you to practice lines!"
Turning around, Tiffany once again portrayed her graceful and elegant deanor, she softly smiled, "Is that so? I’m on my way."
The girl nodded, staring in confusion as Tiffany walked away, mumbling to herself, "Sothing feels off."
