Hannah gave him a casual glance, yet, it caught Jackie off guard, throwing his composure askew.

By the ti he regained his senses, Hannah had already left the room. An assistant ca over and asked if he needed anything.

He paused for a mont before answering, "No need."

In order to connect with modern audiences, the script required that the leading man and antagonist, even when struggling internally and emotionally, avoid excessive physical contact.

Actually, it shouldn’t be too...

Seeing Hannah approach, the few supporting actors who were quietly conversing hushed up and plastered smiles on their faces.

Hannah, pretending not to notice, cheerfully asked, "What were you guys talking about?"

A female actor quickly responded, "Nothing much. Have you finished the scene with Best Actor Qualls?"

Hannah nodded softly, "Just a few dialogue scenes; they took a bit longer due to the extensive lines."

The group exchanged glances. Seeing Hannah lazily lounging about, they inwardly scorned her, but dared not voice their opinions.

After all, everyone knew the director favoured Hannah. He had publicly praised her nurous tis, even before the shooting began.

He said that this young girl had promising potential. Her performance was natural and lacked any trace of acting school mannerism; she stood more chances of achieving great success in future.

Everyone applauded in agreent, concealing their envy.

She was just a reality-show starlet. How good could her acting be? Could she even outshine Best Actor Qualls?

It was more likely that they were just banking on Hannah Winter’s popularity and fan following.

Despite their thoughts, everyone pretended to be friendly with Hannah. They pointed towards Richard Lee, "Director Lee is vexed. Seems like there’s pressure to force more people into the cast. Everyone knows he despises nepotism. However, it’s also true that money talks."

The girl who spoke up earlier seed to know more about the inside scoop.

Hannah looked at Richard Lee only to see him kicking a chair to the ground in anger, yelling into his phone, "Like I’ve always made clear, auditions are mandatory. If you all are going to keep stuffing random folks into my cast, are you treating my filming crew as a recycling centre?"

"Wants to play the lead? Well, she’s ambitious. I bet if she could take over the lead man’s scenes, I would admit ... Child star? What does that even an? With so many years past, who knows what she..."

As Director Lee disappeared into the resting room, they couldn’t hear the rest of his monologue. Others were busy cleaning up the ss.

Hannah retracted her gaze, a small smile on her lips, "I should get going."

As she turned around in her little black dress, her slender waist in view, her glossy black hair pulled up into a bun. Pure and enchanting, her skin even more radiant when bathed in the sunlight, irresistibly eye-catching.

Sobody sighed, "Nothing else to say, Hannah Winter is indeed stunningly beautiful."

The filming location was set in a remote village. Once the scene was secured, not even paparazzi could be found besides the villagers.

Jack Stewart usually drove Hannah around, and on occasion, it was Edison Lynch. He was not a bad person, just loved posing as a cool guy, dressing up even more ticulously than celebrities, especially fond of his flashy red sports car.

What a show-off.

If Jack Stewart hadn’t been tied up, and Emily Lynch and Roy Yarn didn’t have a driving license, they would never have sought Edison’s assistance.

Seeing the familiar sports car ahead, Hannah didn’t hesitate as she knocked on the window. The car door opened.
